This show was pure amazing fantasy romance. It may have been one of the most romantic dramas I have watched up until now. I wasn't sure how I felt about the main male lead before I got into this, even though I knew I liked Yoo In Na. However, he blew me away - he was perfect for this role.

The story was pure fantasy, and it pulled at my heart. Kim Boong Do is pulled 300 years into the future when a talisman made by the chief monk and given to him by a woman who has been praying for his safety as a political tug of war is going on in the palace of King Suk Jong. In our present time, he meets actress Choi Hee Jin. Kim Boong Do is a scholar and remarkably smart and perceptive. He picks up things in this future world quickly, allowing him to blend in to modern society when he needs to. However, he has unfinished business back in Joseon. The talisman carries him back and forth, risking his life each time to come back to Hee Jin and going back in order to further his cause. The love that develops with our couple is tender and fraught with obstacles. "To live is to die and to die is to live."

The actors had chemistry galore, and it was probably helped by the fact that these two reportedly started dating during the filming of this show. The kisses were way better than the cliched wide eyed staring kisses - they looked real and passionate. You In Na was adorably cute - both in her funny scenes and when she was sad. You just wanted to hug her and make her feel better. Ji Hyun Woo made me flutter a bit (and to think a year ago I thought he wasn't attractive at all) in this role. He was the perfect romantic lead - he was caring and considerate. If you are looking for a realistic love story, look somewhere else. This is a fairy tale romance in every way. Just settle back and enjoy what they are serving here because your heart will thank you. :) Anyone that is a sucker for romance will love this show.

The music wasn't really noticeable to me until later on in the show. The first couple of episodes seemed somewhat quiet (little to no music)....but in a good way.

I can't rate this show less than a 10, and I absolutely could see myself watching this again some rainy long weekend.
Queen In Hyun's Man gave me tons of romantic feels, and hit every note just right. From the cute and funny moments, to the heartbreak and tears, to the action and tension of how Kim Boong Do would escape with his life once more.

This is my new favorite drama! It's the only show that I've had the patience to watch before subs came out.

I thought the story was brilliant. It was interesting, unique, and had me coming back for more. The acting was really good. The leads had amazing chemistry and all the supporting roles were well done, too. There was a really nice balance between the historical and modern scenes. And of course the kissing scenes were AMAZING! ^_^

I guess the only thing that I can complain about is that the story got a tiny bit drawn out at the end. But not enough to really bug me. Still my favorite drama and I highly recommend it.

STORY:
I really loved the story, even though, it's a bit complicated, especially in the first episode, I had to rewatch some scenes to understand, also, you can tell by watching it, that the writer really put so much work and effort in it, so much sad feelings mixed with happy, and always wanting to know what's going to happen next, but in episode 14, the drama could have been ended, but I think that they prefered making it longer, afterwards, it's just like another short story, just to fill the gap till episode 16.

ACTING/CAST:
in my opinion, the acting was a breathtaking, the cast really fitted well in this drama, I mean Yoo In Na was so into the character, when crying, she was so good at it screaming and everything, my eyes were all opened at full when she is crying, such a great actress, also, Ga Deuk Hi was a masterpiece in this drama, she was so funny, and really did well at her role, Ji Hyun Woo was very good to be honest, but I really don't like him, he's so not a person that fitted as a main role, but his acting is not that bad.

MUSIC:
I admired the OST of this drama, really fitted with the scenes, although there's so much sad feelings in it, but I really loved it.

REWATCH VALUE:
I don't actually rewatch dramas, but for the ones who do, I'll put a 7, though it's watchable, you'll be bored in several episodes.

OVERALL:
at first I was going to put a 10, but then I changed it, 'cause even though I really enjoyed watching the drama, it's not that fabulous to put a 10, so a 9 will do.

P/S: in my opinion, it's worth watching, but in your spare time.

What a great drama. It took me awhile to watch this drama because I couldn't help but keep comparing it to Rooftop Prince but I should've watched it sooner. It is so different from Rooftop Prince. Rooftop Prince was more comedy but this was more serious. I regret ever comparing these two because they are very different and both are very good.

Although the story was kind of complicated in the beginning and it took awhile for me to understand things, when I finally understood what was happening I couldn't stop watching it. Love the story so much because it was well written. The acting in the drama was great and the chemistry between the two main leads was perfect for the story. Well I guess it wasn't just acting seeing how they are dating each other in reality now. They are so cute together!!!

It took me two days to finish the drama. I am sad though because I finished it so fast but what can I do? At the end of every episode I just wanted more. Love the drama and it was fun to watch. Don't watch this drama with the expectation of it being similar to Rooftop Prince because they are very different. It was a great drama!!

This drama was very good! At first I thought that it was going to be weird because I'm not really into that historical and modern thing put together, but then I watched it and MAN was it AMAZING! The music was exquisite and the acting was above and beyond the best acting ever!

My favorite scenes were the crying scenes. I liked how some of the actors could look so natural when crying! It definitely made me cry too!

This is a very good drama for those people who are the "love conquers all and nothing can stop love because love is the strongest thing in the world" people or along the line of that(; But I definitely recommend anyone to watch this. Definitely good(: It really deserves a 10/10 in all categories!

GAHHH THIS IS A MUST WATCH!!!!!! I FINISHED IT IN A DAY!!!!!!

The chemistry is just between the main actors is just phenomenal and yoo in na sure can act a heart wrenching crying scene. I would have to say that out of all the actresses out there her's may be the best. It is just so believable and emotional that you feel so much sympathy towards her.

The story plot is great and the director is just awesome. The whole drama and the shooting was done very well and the kiss scenes were fantastic!!!!!!

I need to get over my hesitancy to watch historical dramas. Usually save them for last choice but always end up loving them. The leads have a great chemistry and it is just a fun drama. The music (I assume is the gayageum) is fantastic and adds to the chemistry of the leads.
A fun time-travel (similar to Rooftop Prince) KDrama.

This is the one to beat. Of the Korean dramas I've seen, this is the best. I fell in love with the characters. Ji Hyun Woo as Kim Boong Do is a great male lead. Admittedly, I fell for him. :) He's smart, strong - such a man. Yoo In Na as Choi Hee Jin is pretty and cute. What a cool story line! It's been a couple months since I watched this, and as I write this review, I want to watch it all over again! Love, love, love.... I highly recommend it (obviously)!

OH MY GOD! I am out of words for this drama! I am not much of a review writer. Not a big reason behind it just too lazy to write one :P. I try to find ways to avoid reviews like okay this drama was n't that good it doesn't need all that praising. But this drama deserves ALOT of applause.

Honestly when you read the mentioned synopsis you wont be much attracted towards the show. That's where my review's going to help. I literally dragged myself into watching this show because of the synopsis. But trust me people its the smoothest one with the best direction n story line I have ever scene. Its like people working on this play knew how to cast, how to put the scenes together when to add romance, heartbreaking scenes, how to use humor, suspense anticipation, every thing was in it. I am sure that both history n non history lovers will enjoy it. :)

Perfect cast, perfect script, perfect direction, perfect scenes. Overall the pieces of the whole story fall neatly and effortlessly to their places like they belonged there. Oh n did i forgot to mention, absolutely steamy and jaw dropping kissing scenes. Saranghae Queen In Hyun's Man you shall be remembered always

When I first picked up this drama I really had no idea what I was going to be watching. Based on the summary I was actually worried the story would be about the same as Rooftop Prince (which I enjoyed but I had just finished watching it and I didn't want to watch it over with new actors).

But after the first episode I was hooked. My favorite element besides the obvious romance had to be how they handled the time travel aspect of the series. I've seen a few time travel series where they never really explain how the time travel works, it just sort of does. So to have them create a reason behind the time travel they they continued to use it to forward the plot in a very unique way was very refreshing.

The acting was superb by both Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In Na. I hadn't seen anything by these actors prior to the series, and came away having added two favorites to my list. Their on screen chemistry was amazing, and it makes me happy that it was so "real" they have carried it off screen as well.

Overall I will have it say this is currently on the top of my favorite list, and it will be added to my short list of dramas I will definitely be watching again!

Love this show. The leads are very relatable - seem more normal/realistic people. Need a break from impossibly good looking male leads with bottomless bank accounts. Ordinary, sincere, good people got lucky and fallen into a wonderful magical story and found each other.

In the beginning -I liked the way female lead took charge of the relationship - crack through the heart of the male lead. It is very cute. He - on the other hand - thinks about thing & events, This is how smart people should behave & live. It is not cliche - but sweet portrayal of how man and woman meet each other & learn each other & care for each other.

Not to mention. Hooot kisses!
