The movie starts off with Mina going to the motion of a normal high school student only to realize after a couple of minutes into the movie that she, does not interact at all with the people around her. She's indifferent from everyone.

Then all of a sudden her life is being infiltrated by an annoying man... she learns to adore. The amateur photographer was kind of a mystery as to why he was like that towards her but the story develops towards the end.

Not to forget that there is also that mother (a definitely cool one) who tries to help her daughter in every way she can. I definitely love the way she showed her affection towards Mina and her sacrifices for her. This movie was not just a story about love between a man and a woman but it also shows the love between a mother and daughter.

What I like most about this movie is its subtlety in the dialogues and the small clues as what could happen in the end. I had this small notion that something was up with the guy or the mom, only I can't pin-point what until the very end of the film.

...ing is a very heart warming, tear-jerker movie that I have sworn not to watch for the duration of 2009. I tried to stir away from sad movies as much as I could, but what can I do? I'm just an addict to good story line films and this is definitely one of them. How can anyone pass it up? This film is a 2003 production but I only got hold of it 6 years after. It actually came out way before Kim Rae Won's "My Little Bride" with Moon Geum-Young. Here in this film, the leading actress looked so familiar, so when I looked her up that's when it clicked as to where I have seen her first. It was in "I'm a cyborg, But that's ok." her co-star in it was Rain.

Kim Rae Won never seize to amaze me when it comes to acting. He could be cool, he could make you smile and most of all, his crying definitely gets on to you. A very effective actor, that I am very sure of.

To finish this off, the cinematography was perfect. The music vaguely reminded me of the sound track from the drama series coffee prince, and it worked perfectly well with the movie. The actors were an A plus for their acting and the story line... as I have already mentioned above was one of the best stories I've liked so far.

I'm definitely giving my two thumbs up for people to watch this.

In the beginning I liked this movie because of the male lead character. His silly and quirky ways make the little things he does seem that much more endearing. The story is simple and not over done making it feel like something is missing. It's because of this aspect that it feels more like a real life story. The actors aren't glamorous or cinematic and neither is the plot. This movie hits home and sticks with you.

This movie had great potential but it lacked a little inspiration. There are so many stories about sick people and all follow the same portrait that it's hard to be impressed anymore. But I can't say it didn't leave me with that special feeling of loss at the ending, specific to any tearjerker. Also I loved the OST so I'll give points for that. All in all this movie was good..not amazing or impressive or anything..just good.

An amazing movie with an extraordinary name... .ing...
. means period end of something and ing refer to continuity... When a journey ends somewhere it is the start of a new journey somewhere else... Losing your loved ones is the most painful thing but losing them without a happy time memories is most regretted thing... We all are not here to live forever but for our life till our last breath we can make the moments to live like forever and that's the theme of the plot...
If you are hurt and you find it difficult to overcome the pain of losing anything or any relationship then a must watch...
Acting is superb... Dialogues are to the point and simple...no philosophy no drama... All the scenes are so much interlinked that you can easily connect them with second to second... Music is good though not so extraordinary but simple and good... So yes you can watch it and in the end try to smile... Even a tearful smile but give yourself a smile...

...ing was a good film. I loved the casting. However in terms of the story line it was a typical story! I wasn't really that pleased with the storyline. I guess you cant have it all!! I would say the sound tracks were brill. In terms of acting, the actors were brilliant. But Id say Kim Rae Won's acting wasn't that different from some of his previous work!

This film is definitely a tearjerker. But I guess I would have liked to see some romance between the characters as it did become unclear of what the characters were feeling or whether they were feeling anything at all!

Personally I wouldn't watch this again! But that's just me! Overall the film is good with an ok storyline. The actors were great so if you haven't already watched it...Do watch it!!!

This movie was okay. Just okay. I liked the acting and the cast, but I've already seen the story line. Although it is better than some of the "sick people" story lines I've seen, it isn't very original. I've seen better. There are other movies that I enjoyed more. And by enjoyed, I mean cry my heart out.

So, overall, it's an okay movie. Worth watching if you have free time.

i really enjoyed the movie...
the story was kind of unique if you think about it and it was really fun to watch...

i've always been a fan of the actors and they were really good.
i guess it's just that there wasn't much chemistry between KRW and ISJ but you can't deny that they were good at playing their own parts.

the music didn't really stand out but it wasn't bad as well.

i'll probably watch it again if given a chance but it's something i would watch again voluntarily.

i all it was good but didn't really stand out.

I'm not going to lie, there are times during the film were I'm sitting rolling my eyes thinking that it kinda like any angst you'd find that includes a teenager in its plot. But what made up for that is the feelings that it seems to brings to you throughout, cause in my own case I seemed to go this roller-coaster ride of feelings throughout the film, all of course ending in films climax, as I'm sitting there chanting to myself 'don't cry, don't cry, damn it all I'm crying' and then proceeding to searching out my mother to give her a huge hug. So while it does have its drawbacks at times, I have gone back to re-watch this film and it still gives me the same goosebumps, the same emotions every-time.

I purely watched this movie by accident, but I am so glad that I did! This movie was amazing from the natural acting that made me feel like a part of the movie to the rollercoaster-like story line that left me crying profusely.
This movie is a bit slow in the beginning but you don't really mind once the story starts to pick up. The music is also phenomenal and really helped portray the emotions that the characters were feeling.
I will definitely re-watch this movie and there is no doubt in my mind that the story will capture me and leave me a bawling mess a second time.
I would really recommend this movie to everyone but if you are like me, a person who romanticizes and loves it when a movie/drama has that sad factor, then this is the movie for you!

“…ing” (2003) – A Review

Direction and Cast: The film’s direction stands out, skillfully guiding the narrative. The cast delivers commendable performances, adding depth to the characters.

Pacing and Explanation: While the movie touches on various aspects, it spends too much time without fully exploring them. Lingering questions arise as the plot unfolds, leaving some elements unaddressed. Unfortunately, this detracts from the overall experience.

Metaphors and Closure: The ballerina and cross guard characters serve as significant metaphors, yet their importance lacks closure. The film over-delivers without providing necessary resolutions. The cross guard, initially seemingly central, fades into the background.

Multiple Viewings: “…ing” demands multiple viewings to grasp its technical intricacies fully. I plan to revisit it, hoping for a deeper understanding. However, due to my backlog, this may take some time.

Emotional Connection: Despite its flaws, the movie fails to evoke strong emotional resonance. Moments feel forced, impacting overall engagement.

Rating: 6 out of 10 My honest assessment reflects the film’s missed potential. Limited availability on physical media or YouTube adds to the disappointment.

In summary, “…ing” offers glimpses of brilliance but falls short of its promise. If you seek a slow-paced, sweet romance, consider giving it a watch. ??
