One of the most amazing dramas Iv'e watched so far. This drama was more than I was expecting. I fell in love with it on the first episode.I was swept away by the characters, the romance and the story. The love is just so passionate. The music goes along with it perfectly and the actors play their characters so well. I cried to much while watching this. If you want a passionate, read more forbidden love tearjerker, this is it. You will not be disappointed.

This drama is beyond amazing, it's passionate and it teaches you what love really is. I fell in love with this drama after the first episode, it'll make you smile because it's so beautiful and it'll make you cry because it's so painful. I love the music as well, it fits so perfectly in every single situation, they nailed it! Just by watching the opening theme and listening to the song in read more the first episode I already knew it'd take my breath away and it did.

If you're looking for a drama that takes your breath away with it's pureness and cry because it seems so hopeless, then you've come to the right place.

This drama taught me that just because society view it as "forbidden love", it doesn't make it wrong or any less true.

Both are stories about high school students falling in love with their teacher. Both are touching romances. The J drama is more serious and intense than the K drama.

So far it feels like the main couple love what the other represents in their life (freedom, acceptance, etc) more than they love each other as a person. I just don't feel them 'yearning for' or 'want to monopolize' each other. It's almost like, only because they're straight and are members of opposite sex that their relationship evolved into a romantic one. There are only two times when it shows that they're 'attracted' to each other not in a purely platonic way; Michi mesmerized by Hikaru's smile at their first meeting, Hikaru almost kissed Michi on impulse, but even those situations are the result of overflowing empathy for each other, not adoration or fondness.

Overly sappy melodrama that was highly unbelievable. I wish I hadn't wasted my time with it.

My favorite drama of all time. Everything about it was perfect. Unlike other dramas that tackle this subject, Majo No Jouken portrays the struggles that a couple like this would face in the real world. Highlly recommended. I don't understand how it only has a 7.5 rating here.

The music was perfect, acting believable - even more so by the fact that they had the some age as their character - and the story was just amazing! Struggles they went through were realistic, which got me hooked, and crying. Overall, I would say a 10! Now, what am I gonna watch that can compare...

Excellent drama!! A " taboo forbidden " romance that not even USA has the " guts ' to do, much less pull it out.

Is it just me or were there a lot of people getting slapped? If I had known, I would have made it into a drinking game. Although, I spent a lot of episodes yelling at the screen...especially the damn psychologist. Alcohol and yelling, not a good combo, plus the last two episodes are tear-jerkers. I felt very close to Michi because I usually date younger men, so I've had to deal with the stigmas from society. I really liked analogy of Galileo, that society told him he was wrong and that maybe someday they would be accepted...even if it was posthumously.

Matsushima is so beautiful that it's no wonder in real life, handsome and talented Takshi Sorimachi (GTO and Good Life Arigator Papa Sayonara) fell hard for her and married her.
