Both have a woman dating a much younger man and struggling - with an older man slowly realising that not only does *he* like her too, but that she is actually a great person and he screwed up in the beginning by not realising it. The only difference is the endings - one has the woman ending up with the older man and the other has the woman ending up with the younger guy (and no, I'm not saying which is which - you'll just have to watch and see!)

Both stories are about a 30-something woman wooed by a much younger man and she is torn between adventure and depenadble ML choices.

Both deal with a female protagonist's journey of self-discovery through an extramarital affair and its consequences.

Spinster started with dating. Similar embarassing situations (in OMD some scenes are over the top), funny... OMD is shortened +200 drama (2004), so the movie isn't comprehensive enough. LC is far better IMO.

They both have similar plot and themes such as the husband cheating and the wife having a younger man as a love interest.
