Amazing!

"I'll Be There."

Who knew that a K-drama would take on of my most favorite Jackson Five song, and give me goose bumps. What a way to end this episode!!! Holy cow!

It's official Hye Sung is one of the most well developed female leads I've had the pleasure to "discover" in a dramas. She might be prideful, stubborn, and number of other bad qualities. But deep down she's a bleeding heart. Hye Sung has been bitter about what the past has dealt with her. Between what she is saying of "justice karma" and her mother she'll do all right now. Well and with Soo Ha's help.

The court battle for the mean girl's innocent was such a rush! It was fun seeing Soo Ha battle it out with Do Yeon. Especially as Soo Ha sees that Do Yeon hasn't changed one bit. And that by not admitting when she's wrong she's become a bad person. I'd like to think this is what will help set the fire under Soo Ha's butt to make her the public defender the people need. (Yes, so melodramatic of me.)

That being said the supporting characters here are amazing! Everyone is so well developed and I love the way they interact with each other. Especially Soo Ha's mom. Her mom is soooooo adorable. Plus, she never doubts her daughter. She might be the one to give her tough love, but only because she knows her daughter can give more.

This episode was one heck of a rush! It proves to be smart with it's cases, delivering a great law drama. At this point from the writing I'd take a shot in the dark and say that the romance isn't going to derail what is going to be a wonderful law drama. What I want even more is to see Soo Ha and Do Yeon battling out to the bitter end. Until Soo Ha finally gets her justice.

Now I'm off to the next episode to adore Soo Ha some more. He's shaping up to be one of my favorite drama men.

WOW! What an episode!

That ending felt straight up out of a horror drama. I hope the mind reader guy gets there in time!

Wow.

Oh my God, am I the only one who found that phone-ringing scene at the end really scary? I totally had to look away. ._.

Otherwise, nice episode. Hye Sung is already changing, that's nice.

Suspenseful

Okay, I think we're starting to see a little change in Jang Hye Sung, which is great! I love the character Cha Kwan Woo more and more as the episodes progress.

I was sitting on the edge of my seat at the end of this episode. I never knew that the voice of Michael Jackson could be so discomfiting!

So Many Feels!

Seriously, I've seen 124 Kdramas and not one has given me warm fuzzies quite like this one. Each character is exactly what I want them to be. The female lead is so far one of my faves of all time: strong, smart, funny, and also flawed with her cockiness and pessimism, but she admits when she is wrong and I love her even when she is being a butt.

Each episode has an arc of its own and this one is a great example of that. The tension and creepiness at the end was great, and I am just drooling for the next episode. The pacing of the plot too just keeps going at such an enjoyable clip with events happening well before I expected them to.

And finally I have to give a shoutout to Mom, who is just the other cutest thing I have ever seen. Her happy dance made me want to jump out of my chair and do one too. Best mother-daughter pairing ever!

Charming...

They did a beautiful job building up suspense about that murderer, and if he was going to attack her or not...but the previews for the next episode is a curse, as much as it is a blessing...

How can they reach a climax, and then show the next episode, of her going about life as usual? Now I can predict she'll open the closet...and nobody's there...just the phone the guy's left behind.

This episode made me LOL, with the whole "going-back-to-school" plotline, and Cha Kwan Woo, just makes me grin whenever he's on screen...he's really working that nerdy image, walk, everything to a tee.

Will keep watching for the foreseeable future. Would love to be proved wrong, on opening the closest, no-one's there theory...will make a change :D
