Well, well, I gave this drama a shot since I liked the OST when researching for something. And I have to say I just endure whatever ugly stuff the writers have thrown just to finish drama just because I am already past the halfway mark.

The drama started with a good story until the middle, many romantic cliches were thrown at the first but became less as the story progresses. Then suddenly it took a U-turn from an exciting romance drama into a Chaebol-themed forbidden love soap opera when the Auntie appeared and the story became draggy with everyone became so unwilling and stupid before abruptly ended it with every single antagonists repent, thus paving the happy ending to Lu Tian Xing and Tao Le Si. Although there are small twists from my plot prediction near the end, they didn't continue from there but became instead even more predictable than ever. I also found it funny how Tao Le Si started with SMS and suddenly changed into Line to make it possible for dramatic effect (looks like they got the sponsorship in the middle? lol). Also comic relief from Jia Gai Xian in the middle to ending is also unnecessary since it wasn't funny nor useful. Uncle Fu as the cheat engine also had his role vanished when I thought he's going to help. Also what happened to Mr. Long ? Lol.

As I am familiar with the OSTs first, I am slightly biased to the music. The instrumental versions of the songs are very good. I expected they will play the songs whenever they feel like it, including when it shouldn't be there and ended up ruining the atmosphere.

In conclusion, this drama would be better if it ended after Tao Le Si knows the truth of Xiao Lu and gave a moral lesson not to prank others - and that's pretty much the parts I would rewatch if I wanted to.

I watched this simply for Aaron Yan. He looked great here and I liked the premise of the main guy having an alter ego. However, the plot fell short after episode 11 and it was kind of a drag from there. I enjoyed the first 11 episodes so much and can rewatch them anytime but the episodes afterwards can be a bit cringey. This is a Taiwanese drama so please keep in mind that things are going to be very exaggerated, actors and actresses WILL overact in situations that would never happen in real life ever, and so yes, it's a little out of this world and the issues that they all go through are easily solved in the end. The soundtrack of this show is all Aaron's voice and I actually enjoyed all the songs that kept replaying throughout each beginning and ending of every episode.

TL;DR watch it for Aaron Yan and his voice then just shut off your brain and enjoy the crazies.

After this I fell in love again with my neurons

What can I say, am I a masochist? I think I am to endure all the long 20 episodes

STORY
This started interesting to pass the time but went really bad when all Li family went psycho. Maybe their home was bates hotel...
Huan Huan was the first, a spoiled girl with an obsession for Lu Tian Xing. Then, her mother and brother who wanted her to marry a guy that didn't love her and will never do. Then Lance went crazy and...

ACTING - I think an ameba could have more chemistry than ML and FL.

MUSIC - for me it was bad, didn't like any song at all

REWATCH VALUE - only with a gun pointed at me, but first I would check if there were any bullets...

ENDING - too long and stupid for me

OVERALL - very bad drama. All the aspects of a drama were badly done...
If you like to kill lots of neurons this is a good show!

I would have liked it more if I stopped watching halfway through

I enjoyed the first half, somewhat. I liked watching Aaron Yan play alter egos. That was fun. But by the time the second half came, Aaron's character became weak and allowed everyone to steam roll over him. The terrible family that is forcing him to marry - each one is worse than the other. I'm sorry, he's totally in love with one woman but he's going to let them bully him into marrying a girl that's like a sister to him? And then to act like he's fine with it, and perfectly happy to marry someone he doesn't love while the woman he loves watches. There was so much angst in the second half, I just wanted it to be over. There was a happy ending, but by that time I didn't care.

The amount of crack one needs to smoke in order to believe that a wardrobe change, a pair of glasses, and a different hairstyle is enough to fool highly skeptical characters into believing that there are actually two different people, who look that much alike and are never present at the same time, but are unrelated is the same amount of crack the writers and producers smoked when they created this show, committing plot suicide.
Congrats to the creators of Fall in Love with Me for making the surrounding characters playing opposite Lu Tian Xing/ Xiao Lu look stupid and causing them to lose all credibility throughout the rest of the series.
This show never gained any traction from the unimpressive meet/cute to a very much expected, unsatisfying conclusion.
I never thought I would grow to hate the lead characters so much.
This is by far the worst T-drama I have ever binged.
Aaron Yan's character never seemed to be held truly accountable for any of his actions.
The damage to Lu Tian Xing's watch was caused by Lu Tian Xing acting aggressively. Li Huan Huan ending up in a wheel chair, again, was caused by Lu Tian Xing acting aggressively. Watching the aggressive behavior of Yan's character in his treatment of Tao Le Si (who btw is the clumsiest third-degree black belt I've ever seen) was not consistent with her character letting him treat her that way.
Tao Le Si's love for Lu Tian Xing was unearned and should've never been given to him. Her love for him seemed to happen overnight.
This show was really just a 20 episode promo for Samsung products.
Lu Tian Xing's Samsung presentation was extremely lame and unconvincing as the CEO of Sky Rider.
It is these types of shows that inspire me to write fanfiction.

Started strong but ended poorly

I absolutely adored this drama up until about 10 episodes from the end.

The show really excelled in the soft romantic moments between Tao Le Si and Lu Tian Xing/Xiao Lu, especially during that one episode where he gets sick, and she comes to take care of him on her birthday. He surprises her with a birthday cake and they celebrate together, and it's legitimately one of my favorite moments in any drama I've ever watched. I could've watched 50 episodes of just Lu Tian Xing/Xiao Lu and Tao Le Si being cute. But then, the reveal that Xiao Lu was Lu Tian Xing happened.

Obviously, at some point, the fact that he was pretending to be Xiao Lu had to come out, and I'm not frustrated that Tao Le Si found out, it's the way the show's story completely shift after the fact. What started as a comedic show, with really soft, romantic moments, as mentioned prior, became a melodrama, to the point where it felt like I was watching an entirely different show. The whole plotline with Huan Huan at the end ruined the show for me. I feel like the writers didn't know what to do with the characters once the reveal happened, so they just stuck them into this weird scenario. The company burning down? Lu Tian Xing being manipulated into marrying Huan Huan? The fact that Huan Huan had to use a wheelchair after falling off a hill (that incline was legitimately a hill it was not a cliff like they said it was)?

The actors were fine. I especially loved Aaron Yan, who plays Lu Tian Xing. I thought he did well playing two contrasting characters.

The only rewatch value this drama has is for the first half, prior to the reveal that Lu Tian Xing was Xiao Lu. I've honestly gone back and watched some of my favorite moments. Anything after the reveal I've completely ignored.

Overall, I'd give this drama a 5.5/10. It gets 5 points off for the poor writing after the reveal, but half a point back for the cute moments in the first half I loved.

If you really like Aaron Yan, you will enjoy most of this show featuring his Incredible Abs and Moody Eyes. This show has a LOT of fan service. He's in some level of undress every couple of episodes, and he looks FANTASTIC. I mean, I couldn't rate this show lower than a 6 because his six pack is THAT GOOD.

Anyway, things I liked: Aaron Yan's incredible acting (let's be real: he's nice enough to look at that I wouldn't mind if he couldn't act. But he was AMAZING. I occasionally forgot his characters were the same person), Huan Huan's actress (her character arc was incredibly well done. She was exceptional). I liked the wild and escalating drama... Right up to the infamous wedding scene. I loved the accessory romances, especially Miao Miao's. The camping scene? Perfection. The music was fantastic, too.

Things I didn't like: LAO TI SE. I just couldn't make myself like her! Real talk: If you can't make chemistry happen with Aaron Freaking Yan, maybe romance isn't your genre. I think the actress would be great in a sitcom! I actually would have loved if the actresses playing Lao Ti Se and Miao Miao had switched roles. I also wasn't a huge fan of the ending. It either needed fewer episodes and for a resolution during the wedding scene, or to be longer to fully resolve everything. The entire HEA gets crammed into 8 minutes at the end of the last episode and it leaves you feeling a little unfulfilled.

Overall definitely worth watching! I'm looking forward to watching again.

There isn't much to say about it, apart from I believe Aaron Yan saves the entire thing. The plot and episodes feel like filler, and I really disliked the Main Character, because it seemed like she had typical heroine syndrome where it was all "hit them first and be frosty, and ask questions later after you've stormed off and been a brat only to realize you were wrong."

But that being said, it isn't bad. There's better things to watch out there and it was a slog to finish this. Watch other things, but come to this if you're really bored.

I wish I'd read all the reviews before I started it ... then I wouldn't have.

Story: I almost dropped this after a couple episodes because it was a bit too silly, but stuck with it because I've come to expect some silly from shows like this - for example, Love Family. Then it started to get better before falling off a cliff and that's when I skipped the last third of it and jumped to the very end just to see how it wrapped up. The first half was just fair, the second half was very poor.

Acting: Kudos to Aaron Yan for being able to play two totally different characters and actually pulling it off well enough that you almost forget its the same person. I wish I could say the same for Tia Li, while she did a great job of being pretty that was about all she did well. Beatrice Fang really pulled off a multi-sided and continually evolving character well.
Karen Wang created a very enjoyable character in Miao Miao and it's sad to see she's done nothing else in the 6 years since. I hope she's okay and returns to acting. Jack Li's character Leo was rather wooden but I'll blame that on the writers and director because I've seen him do much better.
Chen Bo Zheng was great (as usual) as Fu Bo, I wish that hadn't reduced the role in the second half. Isa Hsieh was excellent as the mom.

Music/Technical: The music was fair but the sound people seemed to have a problem controlling the volume of it, it got so loud at times I turned the sound down on the TV only to have to raise it when dialog began.
Editing was quite jumpy at times, some scenes were either cut short or missed the beginning by a second or two.

There is no rewatch value, I couldn't even watch all of it the first time.

I don't recommend this drama, there's a lot of good moments in it but they're outweighed by the bad and mediocre one.

Fall in Love with Me (Taiwan) (2014) - this is my second Aaron Yan drama, but I like him more in Just You than in this. I guess I didn’t like the main lead girl in this drama. This too has got me feeling ‘pag sure oi’ because it’s supposed to be a disguise drama. Having a lot of coincidences related scenes seems really doesn’t get me. What made me finished this drama is because of the adversaries they faced about their dreams – basically the advertising world. I can’t remember most of parts of this drama that I think I counted it as insignificant. I have heard others liking this drama more than Just You and I guess it’s gonna be a personal verdict for everyone.
