I am not going to hide the fact that I'm really disappointed about Tonbi. It was an excellent family drama and very well executed. Very disappointing. Dramas as heart-warming and well done as Tonbi are rare as it is.

thanks for the article. really happy to see that KAzoku Game gained so many awards, i think it really deserved it. And Sakurai was just amazing in it, no wonder he made it.
I haven't seen many of them though, so I will definitely check out Amachan, Soratobu Kouhoushitsu and 35-sai no Koukousei.
I hope you will continue to give us those results every season.

Kazoku Game was amazing!!! It deserved to win everything that it did ^^ Sho Sakurai rocked his role as he always does and I'm just sad that my sister and brother don't watch Japanese dramas (save for Kamen Rider) because they would love it

One, I'm excited that Soratobu Kouhoushitsu is getting recognition. Two, why is Ayano Go a supporting actor instead of a lead? XD

I know, what's up with that? He was abso-effin'-lutely fantastic in that drama. Sorai-san pretty much instantly became one of my favorite drama characters.

I don't think Japan's ratings can be related to the international audience's ratings because Galileo 2 that had the highest ratings isn't very popular nationwide but Last Cinderella and Kazoku Game get a better popularity.

Anyway, nice article CS; Thanks for the update :)

I'm very pleased for Suzuki Honami, she was a "drama queen" in the '90s,(Tokyo love story, News no onna) and she really knows her job. I'm also impressed by Sakurai Sho in Kazoku Game! Anne is very live in Kasukana Kanojo but Takei Emi is quite disappointing in Otenki Oneesan. I also think that Kamo, Kyoto e Iku deserved more attention. I don't expected too much by 35-sai no Koukousei but it is sorted out very good, although sometimes the plot is a little bit forced. Good season, waiting for Autumn's gems ! :)

35-sai No Koukousei beats Kazoku Game in the overall ratings??? Well, I'm just going to believe that the first 3 places couldn't all belong to FujiTV. Because KG is way better.

This is a very nicely done article CS (^_^)

I don't trust ratings and the magazines results because their readers are biased with popular figures so the real award is at the end of the year; that's the one that evaluates everything in a subjective way even if I don't agree with them all the time but non eye candy actors get their awards fairly. That being said, I think Kazoku Game deserves being the best drama of Spring 2013.
