TWICE's Kim Da Hyun confirmed to make her acting debut!
ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo received another offer to lead a new drama.
On August 16th, several media outlets reported that Cha Eun Woo has been picked as the main lead of the upcoming drama "A Good Day to be a Dog."
Cha Eun Woo's agency Fantagio Entertainment responded to the reports and stated that "A Good Day to be a Dog" is one of the works that the idol-actor is considering. Nothing has been decided yet.
"A Good Day to be a Dog" will base its story on the webtoon of the same name by Lee Hey. It will tell the unique romance between a woman who wants to get out of the family curse of turning into a dog every dawn and a man who is afraid of dogs. The curse will start when she gets her first kiss and to also break the curse, she has to get a second kiss. But the first person she got her first kiss is scared of dogs.
Cha Eun Woo got the offer to play the male lead role named Jin Seo Won. He became afraid of dogs after the trauma he got from an incident in the past that he can't recall.
Broadcast network, premiere date, and other casts are yet to be revealed.
Just this month, Cha Eun Woo was reported to lead two new dramas. First is the fantasy series "This Relationship Is Force Majeure" and now the webtoon-based series "A Good Day to be a Dog." Aside from these two, Cha Eun Woo is also set to star in the upcoming dramas "Island Season 1" and "Sweet and Sour Chicken."
Cha Eun Woo is also set to star in the upcoming film "Decibel" together with Kim Rae Won, Lee Jong Suk, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, and Lee Sang Hee.
In 2022, Cha Eun Woo became busy with his promotions with his K-pop boy group ASTRO and also his solo activities such as several endorsements and fan events.
He is currently on tour for his solo fan meeting "2022 Just One 10 Minute Starry Caravan."
