"Uncle Samsik" Drops Tiffany Young's Stills
The movie Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman has unveiled its splendid special cast lineup.
The production team of Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman announced that actors Park Myung Hoon (Crash Landing on You), Lee Jung Eun (Our Blues, Juvenile Justice, Law School), Cho Yi Hyun (All of Us Are Dead, Hospital Playlist), Park Jung Min (Hellbound, Smugglers) and Blackpink's Kim Ji Soo (Snowdrop) will make special appearances in the movie.
Park Myung Hoon and Lee Jung Eun will be appearing as the director and his wife in Pyeongchang-dong. In this hilarious fake-exorcism-comedy, they play a couple who don't believe in ghosts but find themselves embroiled in the wild antics of the fake exorcist Dr. Cheon, portrayed by Kang Dong Won.
In addition, Cho Yi Hyun adds vitality to the mystery film as the daughter of the director, who doubts Dr. Cheon.
Furthermore, Park Jung Min and Ji Soo deliver a special on-screen chemistry. Park Jung Min will transform into a shaman and deliver a dynamic performance of being possessed. Ji Soo, making her first movie appearance in Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman, will play a fairy.
About casting Blackpink's Ji Soo, director Kim Sung Sik said in the movie's press conference, "Looking for an actor who would fit the image of a fairy, I came to think of Ji Soo after watching her in Snowdrop". He also said, "It was 50% fan sentiment and 50% because her schedule fit".
Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman tells the story of a fake exorcist named Dr. Cheon. He can't hear or see ghosts and does fake exorcisms. One day, he receives a customer, Yoo Kyung, who requests him to free her sibling from possession. But the task seems more challenging than expected as it is a case he has never encountered before. The K-movie will be released on September 27.
