Hello MDL! The last time I did an article on MDL was last December, and then I decided to take a break for more than two months so, it's good to be back!

Honestly speaking, I wasn't intending to make another list of 'Underrated Dramas' article. However, I thought I might turn this into a series which I won't be discontinuing anytime soon as I myself really love watching dramas that I luckily stumble upon while I'm having drama slumps. I always check them out without much expectation, and most of the times they turn out to be great. Plus, at a time like this where most of us are isolated in our houses, and we have nothing better to spend our time with, drama recommendations are most needed.

I did think of discontinuing it, but I probably won't if you guys want more of them! (Check out Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3)

Now, before any further ado, let's get into it!

This drama follows the employees of Cheonrima Market, a cheap back-dated store. The manager of the store, Moon Seok Gu, is a foolish man who intends to make Cheonrima Market the best retail store in hopes of working at the HQ of Daemae Group, the group that runs the Cheonrima Market. Meanwhile, Jung Bok Dong is the boss of Cheonrima Market. Previously, he worked as the board director of the Daemae Group. But soon after, he was demoted to being the boss of the Cheonrima Mart. Now, he plans to take revenge on Daemae Group by destroying the Cheonrima Market.

Pegasus Market is hilarious and one of the most unique light-hearted comedy dramas I've watched in a while! This drama will make anyone laugh with its slapstick humour and its absolute bizarre but interesting characters. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Lee Kang is a neurosurgeon who used to dream of becoming a chef. He seems like a cold person, but he's actually warm-hearted. In childhood, Lee Kang once cooked a meal for a girl named Moon Cha Young, who is now a chef. The two were separated for a long time until they meet again in a hospice ward.

I'm usually not a huge fan of healing dramas, as they mostly tend to be too boring for me. But Chocolate was really something I didn't expect to be this good. The story is beautiful, with many moments that'll surely touch your heart. The acting is amazing, and the cinematography of this drama is outstanding. Many people didn't like the later episodes, though I didn't have a problem with it. It's overall a heart-warming slow-burn romantic drama.

(Available on Netflix)

Hyun Woo and Soo Yeon have been married for 8 years. Hyun Woo's wife, Soo Yeon, is beautiful, talented and is also the perfect mother. However, one day, Hyun Woo notices a text message on Soo Yeon's phone, which was sent by a male stranger. Soon, more of such situations came one after and another, and it led Hyun Woo to finally believe that his wife was having an affair. Therefore, he blamed Soo Yeon for putting their family into danger. However then, Hyun Woo started to wonder whether it's actually his fault for his wife's wrongdoing.

My Wife is Having An Affair This Week, also known as Listen to Love, shows the insight view of a married couple who are facing issues and is questioning their relationship due to one of them being involved in an extra-marital affair. As much as this drama gives you the laughs and sweet moments, the message portrayed in this drama is in-depth, and it makes you change your perspective on many things. It's a great watch, and I highly recommend it even if you don't like dramas about infidelity.

(Available on Netflix as Listen to Love in certain countries)

Mo Seok Hee is the only daughter of the owner of MC Group, a rich company. She's smart, talented and beautiful. She seems to be enjoying her life a lot, but she still mourns over her mother, who was killed 15 years ago. Meanwhile, Heo Yeon Do is a detective who only gets to solve minor cases in poor market areas. Luckily one day, he is recruited to work in the TOP team of MC Group. The TOP team works to cover up any illegal or insulting behaviour of the family members who run the MC Group. Mo Seok Hee and Heo Yeon Do team up in order to find out Mo Seok Hee's mother's killer.

Graceful Family is not your usual drama about revenge and a duo trying to solve a murder case. With its solid and gripping story, what makes this drama actually memorable for me is definitely the awesome female lead. She is gorgeous, cut-throat and funny at the same time. One thing I really loved about her besides her being a total badass is also her fashion, that really stood out. If you love strong and smart female leads, you wouldn't want to miss out on this drama.

Yoo Seol Ok is a housewife who had always dreamed of becoming a police officer. One day, she meets Han Wan Seung, a passionate detective. Wan Seung gives Seol Ok an opportunity to fulfil her dream, and the two start to work together in order to solve mysterious cases.

Queen of Mystery is a mystery-comedy drama which follows the housewife-detective duo who team up to solve many cases. I started this with little to no expectation. Fortunately, it turned out to be so much more than I thought. It's really hilarious, and I love the duo the drama centers on. They have great chemistry, and the cases they solve are just as interesting.
