Girls’ Generation Choi Soo Young is the new addition to the cast of Netflix's upcoming series "Move To Heaven"

It was confirmed on April 30 that Girls’ Generation Soo Young will be part of the upcoming Netflix series. Her agency Saram Entertainment confirmed their artist's casting through media outlet Newsen. 

"Move To Heaven" will be directed by Kim Sung Ho and the script will be written by Yoon Ji Ryun, the same writer of hit 2009 drama "Boys Over Flowers". 

The upcoming series will revolve around Gue Roo and their family's business "Move To Heaven" in which they assist the things left by the deceased people. Han Geu Roo is a young man with Asperger's syndrome who helps his father in their business. When Gue Roo's father died, his uncle Jo Sang Goo appeared and suddenly became his guardian. 

The rest of "Move To Heaven" cast include Lee Je Hoon as Jo Sang Goo, Tang Jun Sang as Han Geu Roo, Ji Jin Hee as Gue Roo's father named Jung Woo, Hong Seung Hee as Yoon Na Moo, Shin Soo Oh as Kim Yong Woo, and more.

Choi Soo Young will play the role of Son Yu Rim, a secret character in the series. 

Choi Soo Young debuted in 2007 as part of girl group from SM Entertainment named Girls' Generation. Aside from being an idol, she also actively promoted as an actress. She became part of dramas such as "Unstoppable Marriage," "The 3rd Ward," "Dating Agency: Cyrano," "The Spring Day of My Life," "38 Task Force," "Man in the Kitchen," "Tell Me What You Saw," and more. She previously starred in the 2020 drama "Run On" with Im Shi Wan, Shin Se Kyung, and Kang Tae Oh. Her drama "So I Married an Anti-Fan" with Choi Tae Joon will also be available this year.

"Move To Heaven" will premiere on Netflix on May 14.
