Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Go Min Si and Choi Hyun Wook will possibly be the next K-drama couple we should look forward to!
On September 27, JTBC Entertainment News reported that Go Min Si and Choi Hyun Wook will be working together for the upcoming K-drama I'm Against My Romance (literal translation).
According to the media outlet, both Go Min Si and Choi Hyun Wook's agencies confirmed that they received the casting offer and are currently reviewing it.
I'm Against My Romance will be the latest work of famous director Lee Eung Bok who is known for creating the K-dramas Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, Dream High, and more.
The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of ex-lovers who decided to reunite once again. As they return as lovers, the two will rediscover if it is still the continuation of the relationship they are already familiar with, or if they are starting a new relationship they are unfamiliar with. The K-drama will showcase the happenings when each other's first love reunites once again.
Go Min Si got the offer to play the role of Kim Tae Kyung. She is a woman known for her great instincts and righteous character. She felt the love she had for her first love once again after meeting him again after 10 years.
Choi Hyun Wook will reportedly play the role of Hong Je Bi. He is a careless teacher at a daycare center.
There is no official confirmation yet on when and where the upcoming K-drama I'm Against My Romance will premiere.
This is not the first time that Go Min Si and Choi Hyun Wook will work with director Lee Eung Bok. Go Min Si has worked with the director through the Netflix original K-drama Sweet Home. She will also join its new seasons. Meanwhile, Choi Hyun Wook worked with the director when he made a special appearance in Jirisan's 6th episode.
Go Min Si is expected to star in the new seasons of Sweet Home Season 2 and Sweet Home Season 3. The actress will also lead the upcoming K-drama Alone in the Woods with Kim Yoon Seok and Yoon Kye Sang.
Choi Hyun Wook on the other hand is currently starring in the K-drama Twinkling Watermelon with Ryeoun and Seol In Ah. The trendy actor will also star in the upcoming series High Cookie which will premiere next month.
