Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum's movie "Seobok" will be released in theaters and several OTT platforms!

Originally scheduled for a December 2020 release, the science fiction film "Seobok" was postponed due to the resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea. On March 2, it was announced that the highly anticipated film will still be released in theaters but will also be available on CJENM OTT and TVing. The film industry is currently struggling due to the ongoing pandemic as the number of moviegoers comes to a decline. Hence they decided that aside from releasing "Seobok" in theaters, they also added OTT platforms. The exact release date of the movie is still undecided.

"Seobok" is a sci-fi film that will showcase the journey of Ki Heon (played by Gong Yoo), a former intelligence agent who's fulfilling his last mission in life. He was appointed to make sure the mankind's first human clone gets transported safely. Park Bo Gum will play the role of the clone named Seobok. 

The upcoming movie is directed by Lee Yong Joo with casts Gong Yoo, Park Bo Gum, Jo Woo Jin, Jang Young Nam, and more.

Aside from this movie, Gong Yoo is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix original series "The Silent Sea" together with Bae Doo Na, Lee Joon and more. 

Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum enlisted on August 31, 2020 and is currently serving his military duty as a cultural promotion soldier in the navy. The actor last appeared in the 2020 tvN drama "Record of Youth" with Park So Dam
