No Sang Bo confirmed to star in the Disney+ original K-drama "Uncle Samsik"
INFINITE's Kim Myung Soo and actress Lee Yoo Young have been picked to lead the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Treat Me Carefully (literal translation).
On August 21st, media outlets reported that Kim Myung Soo and Lee Yoo Young have been picked to lead the upcoming K-drama Treat Me Carefully.
Kim Myung Soo's current agency Look Media shared their side regarding the casting reports. According to the agency, Kim Myung Soo did receive the offer to lead the upcoming K-drama. He is positively reviewing the casting offer.
Treat Me Carefully will base its story on the webtoon of the same name. It is a romantic comedy series that will tell the story of Shin Yoon Bok, a man from Seongsan Village who's equipped with Confucian ideas, and a woman named Kim Hond Do who is a modern female teacher that is also reckless with her life.
Kim Myung Soo received the offer to play the character named Shin Yoon Bok. He has continued Korea's Noblesse Oblige from generation to generation. He is strict with himself and believes that human wisdom makes people and no one should be treated carelessly.
Lee Yoo Young on the other hand got the offer to play the role of Kim Hong Do. She is powerless and often ignored in the design industry. Although she is treated like an invisible in the industry, she still fights for her dream of being a good designer.
There are no official announcements yet on the release date and broadcast channel of the upcoming K-drama Treat Me Carefully.
If Kim Myung Soo confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming K-drama. The idol actor is also set to lead the upcoming Disney+ K-drama The Worst Boy in the World together with Tang Jun Sang, Seo Young Joo, Yoo Teo, Cho Yu Ha, and Uhm Chae Young.
This year, Kim Myung Soo appeared in the MBC K-drama Numbers with Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo, former Momoland Yeonwoo, Kim Yoo Ri, and INFINITE's Lee Sung Yeol.
Aside from his possible two upcoming K-dramas, Kim Myung Soo will also make a special appearance in the upcoming series Perfect Family.
Meanwhile, Treat Me Carefully will possibly be the first upcoming K-drama of Lee Yoo Young for the year. She was last seen in the 2022 K-drama Insider with Kang Ha Neul, Heo Sung Tae, Kim Sang Ho, Moon Sung Geun, and Kang Young Seok.
Aside from K-dramas, Lee Yoo Young will also star in the upcoming movies Firemen and Love at the End of the Century.
