Joo Ji Hoon will reportedly lead the upcoming K-drama "Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour."

On January 3rd, media outlets reported that Joo Ji Hoon is confirmed to star in the upcoming web novel-based K-drama "Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour." 

Joo Ji Hoon's agency H& Entertainment responded to the casting reports. According to the agency, the actor is currently reviewing the offer but nothing has been decided yet. 

"Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour" will depict its story from the web novel of the same name written by Han San Yi. It will tell the story of forming a  severe trauma team led by Baek Kang Hyuk at a university hospital. 

Joo Ji Hoon got the offer to play the lead role named Baek Kang Hyuk. He is a genius surgeon who will be leading the  Severe Trauma Center at Hankook University Hospital, the nation's top university hospital. Baek Kang Hyuk is known for being tall, handsome, and skillful with his craft.

The upcoming series will be the next project of  So Hyun Kyung, who is known for being the writer of the K-dramas "My Golden Life," "Twenty Again," "Two Weeks," "49 Days," and more. 

There are no official details yet on the release and broadcast channel of "Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour."

If Joo Ji Hoon confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming K-drama for the year. The top actor will also lead the upcoming K-drama "Dominant Species" with Han Hyo Joo, Lee Hee Joon, Lee Moo Saeng, Park Ji Yeon, and Jo Bok Rae.

Joo Ji Hoon recently released his film "Gentleman" with Choi Sung Eun, Park Sung Woong, Han Dong Hee, Park Hae Eun, and Ko Ju Hee.

He will also star in the upcoming movies "Silence" and "Along with the Gods 3."
