Actors Lee Je Hoon and Park Eun Bin have been confirmed as the hosts for the opening ceremony of the 28th Busan International Film Festival, which will take place from October 4th to October 13 at the Busan Cinema Center.

Lee Je Hoon gained recognition for his powerful performances in films such as Bleak Night (2011), Architecture 101 (2012), and more, quickly establishing himself as a promising talent in the Korean film industry. He further expanded his acting prowess by successfully portraying diverse roles in films like Anarchist from Colony (2017), I Can Speak (2017), and Time to Hunt (2020), as well as in popular dramas like Signal (2016), Move to Heaven (2021), Taxi Driver (2021), and Taxi Driver 2 (2023). His directorial debut with Unframed (2021) received enthusiastic responses from both media and critics during the 26th Busan International Film Festival, showcasing his versatility as an actor and an artist.

Debuting in 1996, Park Eun Bin garnered recognition through numerous commercials, TV programs, and dramas. With her exceptional character portrayal abilities, she won the KBS Drama Awards for Best Young Actress for The Iron Empress (2009) and continued to impress audiences with roles in Secretly Greatly (2013), Secret Door (2014), Age of Youth (2016), Hot Stove League (2019), and Do You Like Brahms? (2020). Her outstanding performance as a cross-dressing female king in the historical drama The King's Affection (2021) earned her international acclaim, including the 4th Asia Contents Awards for Best Actress and the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards in the TV category. Park Eun Bin solidified her position as one of Korea's most beloved and acclaimed actresses.

Having previously shared the screen in the drama Secret Door (2014), Lee Je Hoon and Park Eun Bin's reunion as hosts for this year's Busan International Film Festival opening ceremony is highly anticipated due to their unique chemistry and collaboration.
