Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
The tenth episode of "Little Women" got the highest viewership rating to date.
On October 3rd, it was revealed that the tvN series broke its record and achieved the highest viewership rating up to date with the latest episode. "Little Women" garnered an average nationwide rating of 9.7 percent for episode 10 aired on October 2nd. This is the best personal record of the drama. The series also placed first in its time slot across all cable channels. For the Seoul Metropolitan area, the 10th episode achieved an average rating of 11.3 percent.
"Little Women" revolves around three poor sisters who got involved with the most influential and wealthiest family in the nation. The drama adapted its story from the popular novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott.
The series is led by Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, Wi Ha Joon, Uhm Ki Joon, and Uhm Ji Won.
The drama is the latest work of director Kim Hee Won ("Vincenzo" and "The Crowned Clown") and writer Jung Seo Kyung ("Mother" and "The Handmaiden").
"Little Women" first aired on September 3 and it started with decent average nationwide ratings of 6.4 percent. Episode 6 got the second highest average nationwide rating of 8.33 percent. There are only two episodes left of the drama and it is expected that the ratings will soar higher as new incidents will unfold.
Many are praising the main casts for their great portrayal of their characters. There are also high praises for the plots and twists of the drama for each episode.
"Little Women" will conclude next week and the final episode will air on October 9th, 2022, at 9:10 PM KST. The series is available both on tvN and the global OTT platform, Netflix.
Aside from placing first in its time slot across all cable channels, "Little Women" also became the top most buzzworthy drama for the second time since its release. The data was for the fourth week of September from Good Data Corporation.
The main leads also dominated the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members for the fourth week of September. Kim Go Eun got the number one spot, Wi Ha Joon at the sixth spot and Uhm Ji Won in the 8th spot.
