Park Ji Hwan will also be part of the upcoming sports K-drama My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook. 

On April 21, it was officially confirmed that Park Ji Hwan will be joining the KBS K-drama My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook.

My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook will reveal the story of a cold-blooded sports agent who uses the athletes to make a lot of money in a short period before they finally get burned out. The story will be based on the novel of the same name by Choo Jong Nam. 

The upcoming K-drama will be led by Lee Sang Yeob, Kim So Hye, Kim Jin Woo, Park Ji Hwan, Yoon In Jo, and Chae Won Bin

It will be the collaboration work of directors Hong Eun Mi and Choi Sang Yeol, and writer Kim Min Joo. The series will be produced by Ace Maker Movie Works, Cornerstone, and Hello I Am Nutopia. 

My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook will premiere in the second half of 2023. It will be part of KBS' Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot and it will have a total of 16 episodes.

In the upcoming K-drama, Park Ji Hwan will play the role of Kim Oh Bok. He is a sports gambling site operator. He looks gentle and calm on the outside but in reality, he is cold and merciless. 

This will be the first K-drama of Park Ji Hwan for 2023. After this series, he will then star in the new K-dramas Gyeongseong Creature and Alone in the Woods. Aside from K-dramas, Park Ji Hwan will also take part in the upcoming films The Roundup: No Way Out, The Roundup: Punishment, Boss, and Handsome Guys

Park Ji Hwan is nominated for Supporting Actor Award at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards which will be held on April 28. He got a nomination for his performance in the hit 2022 movie The Roundup.
