Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Seo Hyo Rim is in talks to join the upcoming MBC drama "Red Cuff of the Sleeve"
On May 11th, actress Seo Hye Rim's agency Majiq shared through media outlet Newsen that their artist is in discussion to appear in the drama "Red Cuff of the Sleeve" directed by Jung Ji In ("Radiant Office" and "Shining Romance") and written by Jung Hae Ri ("The Emperor: Owner of the Mask").
"Red Cuff of the Sleeve" will showcase the story how an ordinary court lady becomes the mother of the crown prince.
Other announced cast of the drama includes 2PM's Lee Jun Ho, Lee Se Young, Jang Hee Jin, Oh Dae Hwan, and more. Lee Jun Ho wil play the role of Yi San / King Jeong Jo, Lee Se Young will play the character of Consort Ui, Jang Hee Jin as Queen Jeongsun, and Oh Dae Hwan as Kang Tae Ho.
Seo Hye Rim got the offer to play as King Youngju’s youngest daughter Hwa Wan Ongju.
Seo Hye Rim made her acting debut in 2007 drama "When Spring Comes.” Ever since then, she's been active in promoting as an actress. She participated in several dramas such as "The World That They Live In,” "Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” "Scent of a Woman,” "That Winter, The Wind Blows,” "Beautiful Gong Shim,” and more. She last starred in the 2018 drama "It's My Life" with Park Yoon Jae, Jin Ye Sol, Kang Tae Sung, and more.
In 2019, she got married with actress Kim Soo Mi's son Chung Myung-ho who is the CEO of the Maple F&B. If she accepts the offer, this drama will be Seo Hyo Rim's first project after giving birth to her first child.
"Red Cuff of the Sleeve" is scheduled to air sometime in September.
