Seo In Guk will reportedly star in the upcoming novel-based drama "Handwritten."

"Handwritten" is a historical action drama that will revolve around the main character who lost his memory and will try to find his true identity. The series will base its story on a novel of the same name. 

On November 3rd, several media outlets reported that Seo In Guk has been chosen to lead the upcoming historical drama. 

Seo In Guk's agency Story J Company responded to the casting reports and confirmed that the actor did receive the offer and he is currently reviewing it. 

If Seo In Guk confirms his casting, he will play the role of Kwon Soo Young. The story will revolve around him when everyone thought he is already dead but he returns and gets involved in a power struggle.

The story unfolds as Kwon Soo Young, who was thought to be dead, returns and becomes embroiled in a power struggle.

There are no official announcements yet on the premiere of "Handwritten."

This year, Seo In Guk starred in the drama "Café Minamdang" with Oh Yeon Seo, Kwak Shi Yang, Kang Mi Na, Kwon Soo Hyun, and Won Hyun Joon. He also led the film "Project Wolf Hunting."

Aside from "Handwritten," Seo In Guk will also lead the upcoming MBC drama "Smoking Gun" written by Park Hye Jin ("Café Minamdang" and "The Emperor: Owner of the Mask").

Seo In Guk made his acting debut in 2012. Since then he has been active more in acting than singing. He was part of the dramas "Love Rain," "Reply 1997," "The Master's Sun," "High School King of Savvy," "The King's Face," "38 Task Force," "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes," "Doom at Your Service," and more.
