The upcoming Netflix original series "The Glory" starring Song Hye Kyo confirms its airing date.

On December 1st, Netflix released a date announcement trailer revealing the premiere of "The Glory." The upcoming thriller melodrama will be out on December 30th.

"The Glory" is a revenge story of a woman who dreamt of becoming an architect while in high school but wasn't able to do so because she dropped out after suffering from brutal school violence. After several years, the perpetrator got married and had a kid. After the kid becomes an elementary student, the victim became the homeroom teacher and started her revenge on all that bullied her as well as the bystanders of the violence.

 Song Hye Kyo will be working with Lee Do Hyun, Im Ji Yeon, Park Sung Hoon, Yeom Hye Ran, and Jung Sung Il.
The upcoming series is the collaboration work of writer Kim Eun Sook ("Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin," and "Mr. Sunshine") and director Ahn Gil Ho ("Stranger".)

This series will be the reunion of Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook. The two have worked together for the phenomenal 2016 series "Descendants of the Sun."

This will be the first-ever OTT project of Song Hye Kyo. This will also be her first time leading a Netflix original series. The top actress last starred in the 2021 K-drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up" with Jang Ki Yong, Choi Hee Seo, Kim Joo Heon, Park Hyo Joo, and Yoon Na Moo.
After "The Glory," Song Hye Kyo will then star in the new series titled "The Price of Confession" wherein she will work alongside trending actress Han So Hee. This will also be the reunion of Song Hye Kyo with the "Descendants of the Sun" director.
