The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

This anime/manga/light novel series is quite popular in both Japan and the West. Personally, it's one of my favorite anime. If done right, I would love a live action adaption (although I am 99.9% sure that'll never happen). So here's my question for you guys... What is your dream cast for the Haruhi series? Include any actor or actress you can think of (heck you could even include a Korean or Chinese actor, if you'd like).
