hmm I think it depends on the person, like for me because I watched a lot of dramas and movies I may have higher or at least different expectations from a drama/movie then someone who has only watched a few and love the new plotline because they've never seen a similar one but I've seen similar dramas and thus enjoy it a little less or don't watch it at all even tho it might be quite nice, like when I first started watching dramas I loved those school dramas but right now I can barely stand them and think they're boring
