[Search] Fav Chinese Republic Era dramas set between 1920-1930?

I've watched two dramas which correspond to your research... I didn't really like it but I know how much people like it sooo I think it is just my cup of tea. So I recommend you both of them because it fulfills your requirements and they are pretty much liked by everyone lol

- Rookie Agent Rouge (1937). 

Soon, I will watch My Roommate is a Detective (mid-1920's). It's famous and well-appreciated so I think that's what you're looking for!

Yeah, you can find Hu Yitian as the male lead in My Roommate is a Detective! 

I guess you've already watched Go Go Squid if you're currently watching DT Appledog, if it isn't the case I highly recommend it even if it's not during the Chinese Republican Era lol
