editSynopsis

A tough female police officer who suffers from depression falls in love with a young multimillionaire whom she initially believed was a parking attendant. Instead of counting her lucking stars, she is taken aback by how rich he is. Officer Cha Bong-sun is a peculiar woman who defies the rigid social hierarchy and rails against it. And Seo Jae-hee, the millionaire boyfriend, is a peculiar man who falls in love with this quirky police officer. They fall passionately in love with each other. A crazy sort of love. A story about people, relationships and love.

Me Too Flower is a conundrum for me. When this drama started out I was extremely pleased and excited for every episode.

I loved the original story line. Yes..I do believe it is an original story line: The fact the Jae Hui is rich but a self made man and not a chaebol, the fact that he was a nice man...simply a bit messed up from his past, the plot point of Cha Bong Sun and her need to see a counselor and her very stubborn personality and their coming together as a couple. Also, Cha Bong Sun may have had problems but she was a strong independent woman who had her own career. All of those elements came together in a very non standard Kdrama

I'm extremely disappointed right now - not with the drama but with the viewers and MBC, the channel that premiered "Me Too, Flower", for cutting that one episode from the show. It made a huge difference, because I felt there was something missing by the time I finished the drama.

M2F began with the right pitch; it was extremely funny yet preserved it's characters' emotional depth. It wasn't empty comedy and handled serious issues like broken families, society's shallowness, and people's materialism.

I was excited for every new M2F episode more than I was for "Man of Honor", but in the end I was surprised that MBC decided not to do the last episode because MBC Broadcast Entertainers Awards was set at the same time the

  • The feeling I get from female leads is similar. They also looks a bit similar and their acting is also similar. Besides that both dramas have this chaebol man and poor woman as main leads. And there are many obstacles they must win to get each others love.

  • Both are romances about a non conventional rich guy trying to win the heart of strong willed/stubborn girl. Both male leads are reluctant about being pushed into positions of power. Both female leads are aggressive, and self-righteous. There's scheming based on jealousy, and classism, that stand in the way of both couple's happiness. There's also great chemistry in both!

I'm on the 6th episode and I don't know if he's playing with her feelings or he really likes her. I'm confused.
  • jpdramas13 Mar 15, 2013
This one was...very dramatic! But that's what's so good about it. I fell in love with Yoon Shi Yoon with this drama!

I like this drama cus the love triangle is abou thre girls and one boy
Most dramas is it tow boys and one girl
    Something special ????????????:)
  • talilo Feb 21, 2013
I guess I just can't get enough of Yoon Shi Yoon that I end up watching this, but I am glad I did. The story is not that special, but the romance I like. Besides, I get to see the more mature and manly YSY character! :D
  • Dipnot71 Feb 21, 2013
There is life in this drama with every aspect. It has its own pace. You are not in a rush about something to be resolved at the end. Just letting yourself live the lifelike story with them. Besides I didn't understand why people is annoyed with her character. Her character is well-written, realistic and well-played by female lead.

I don't think I'll ever rewatch this drama, much as I love Yoon Shi Yoon... but it's embarrassing how many times I've rewatched that one kiss scene xD

    Finished watching. A bit upset.
    • sparklingangel Jan 29, 2013
Hmm, now I'm worried. Although it depends on why you're upset. I might be shipping a different couple than you.
    • mszither Jan 29, 2013
Shipping a different couple? You mean..?
    • sparklingangel Jan 29, 2013
It depends on who the lead characters end up with. Either each other, or someone else. Shipping is rooting for a particular relationship. :)
    • mszither Jan 30, 2013
I'm not rooting for any couple, there are barely any other choice to be honest, I just somehow dislike the female lead. She doesn't portray much romance compared to the male lead. Idk how should I say this, but, I can't feel their chemistry

Just before I finish this drama I said to myself to never watch any dramas with Lee Ji Ah in it, ever, again. (I watched her in two dramas before and end up disappointed too) *sigh*
    • sparklingangel Jan 30, 2013
I honestly don't like her much either. Something about her is very irritating, although that might be more the character than the actress, I don't know. Her annoying behavior does make it really hard to root for her in having a successful relationship with Yoon Shi Yoon. I like him so much, I think he deserves better than any of the women in his life!

But in The Legend and Beethoven Virus I think she did a good job she's not that bad :)

Maybe it's just her personality in this show that annoys me. I'll have to start it up again one of these days. I'm only through episode 6. Does her personality improve at all in this show?

    • mszither Feb 18, 2013
Nope. The character itself is plain annoying. I don't know why but this drama typically put all the blames on the male lead's shoulder (which is CLEARLY - not his fault - AT ALL). That's what made me pissed off.

But I finished off the drama nonetheless. Phew.
    • sparklingangel Feb 19, 2013
*sigh* I guess I really should finish it. He just deserves soooooo much better!!
  • StephStephieTeff Jan 14, 2013
Oh I just started watching this now, haven't even finished the first ep yet and I'm loving it. What I'm really loving is that it has Yoon Shi Yoon, Ki Kwang and Jung Man Shik in it :D :D Brings back great memories of King2Hearts and cuteness from My Princess and Flower Boy Next Door. :)
