I started this drama with low expectations, was catapulted into LOVE LOVE LOVE for it, then plunged into a bitter hatred for what seemed like the laziest possible conclusion, though I stuck with it to the end, hoping to get back what I thought was so magnetic. I think the real-life drama affected the show, and in the end, affected the fandom. The last handful of episodes was such a letdown, but read more the first episodes (excluding the slow start in ep 1) were so quirky and fun, that I still have a soft spot for What Could Have Been.

What started out as a Romantic comedy slowly morphed into a melodramatic mess once you pass episode 10. From there on out it's a repetitive torture of north -vs- south and a lot of unnecessary backtracking.
To be honest I wanted to love this drama given I know a lot of the key players in this and wanted to support their work but I just couldn't help but to find myself bored read more as it continued like the writing team ran out of stream halfway through and then carelessly wrote itself to a ending.
Kinda disappointing given how much greatness and comedy and situations went into the beginning of this drama it could have been so much more if the writing team stuck to their guns I feel. I was mostly relieved I got to the ending on this given how bored I was with the storyline.
Overall I would probably never revisit this drama again and to be honest the soundtrack didn't have much going for it either. Ah well love it or hate it it had a good cast and a ending that wasn't a total waste of time but if your looking for a drama to fall in love with you might wanna pass on this one given it kinda fizzles after the first half of episodes.

All the surrounding and circumstances are different, but the feelings between the main couples (the "type" of love) in these two dramas seem similar to me. They start out with almost enemy like relationship, the man treats the woman sometimes really badly... but the girl in both dramas is the type who can take it all and some more, very strong girls both of them. Both pairs also end up in a difficult situation later on where they need to decide how much they can give up for their love.

Both are about a person, who's the bodyguard of a famous celebrity and both fall in love with each other. Myung Wol the Spy has somehow a more serious feeling sometimes, because of the risk she is taking, but overall both tend to be more funny and cute, than serious.

    I found this drama boring in some scenes but I enjoyed the sweet romance between the couple (Eric Mun and Han ye seul).

    One of the worst KDrama I have ever watched. It's starts off great, then notsogreat, then really really really bad. You were warned. It makes no bloody sense whatsoever. So stupid. I can't believe I actually finished it.

    Great show overall, the acting was pretty good and I got attached to the 2 main actors. I'm sad they haven't done anything since this series ended. The bad points are the last few episodes felt a little stretched with some useless and repetitive scenes, I mean how many times do you need to try to escape/get captured/leave the country, I think the 2 episode extension from 16 to 18 episodes was not necessary. Also a big change of mood happened, from E1-12 the show is more of a Rom-Com then changes to more of a Melo-Rom for the next episodes, but in the end it came back a little to Rom-Com. But these bad points dont change the fact that this is one of my favorite series and im really hoping to see more from the 2 main actors.

    I love "Han Ye Seul" but hated "Han Myung Wol" for deceiving and playing with a mans heart. I felt like killing her so many times by somehow magically appearing in the drama. I've seen melodramas, tragedies but I have never been so irritated by a drama like this. I don't know if it's because this drama is that good or just junk. You just gonna have to decide yourselves. Duration of this drama has been like a love–hate relationship for me. I just couldn't let go of the fact how cute, adorable and sexy "Han Ye Seul" was throughout this drama.

    The music really touched me... If there were no emotional music to go with the drama omg. I would've never cried so hard ;_; I didn't even have a box of tissues to use ;~;

    I love stories about spies and so I was dying to see this drama. I ended up liking it a lot and laughed a lot with Myung Wol trying to seduce Kang Woo.
    I confess that a little twisted that Choi Ryu ended up staying with Myung Wol ... (Though I think that actress obvious that rich girl would end up falling for it ..)
