Ok first, I've been dying to write this review since episode three but I promised to myself that I would wait until I finished it, so, here I am. The most important thing about this drama is that it's seriously underrated. This one of the best dramas that I've ever seen and still there are no reviews. This a drama about second chances opposed to you typical innocent love.
Story-The story is about how the drama world functions, it tries to highlight the differences and similarities between dramas and real life. In the romantic part it's completely different from any kdrama that I've ever seen. So to give you an idea, the leads are exes, so it isn't about how they fall in love, but rather

It's an overall 8,5 but I rounded it to 9, for encouragement.

I cannot believe this drama is so underrated. Honestly, give this drama a chance, it's one of the better ones out there, one of those that stand out by virtue of trying to actually say something, not just show pretty faces and be all cheesy. And at the same time, the effect is still very pleasing, which leads me to think this is a good example of a drama which achieves a pretty good balance between attractive package and enough substance to make it a worthwile watch.

Beca's review says it all, but I thought I'd support it with my own couple of words, though it may be mostly repetition of what she said,

  • They have the same kind of mature yet funny love. Also, some of the characters are alike and they share an actor. If you liked one, you'll definitely like the other.

  • Although the plot of these two dramas are very different I feel like they are similar in two large ways. The writing, acting and the situations of both dramas are very mature and set in an adult world with adult problems. The other way they are similar is the lead couple are friends who turn into lovers. If watched The World They Live In and appreciate the mature themes you may find that same quality appealing in 9 End 2 Outs.

I decided to watch this drama because of the two very good main leads Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo. I have to say that although I found the fact that it dealt with drama making quite original and interesting, I felt that from the beginning this theme overwhelmed the actual plot. Almost until the last few episodes I felt like I was watching a documentary on drama making rather than a love story or a friendship story and I was quite bored because of this. Indeed it was very realistic but maybe a tad too much for me. In any case I rated it 7 as it is original and well acted but I would certainly not watch it again and I would recommend it as a filler drama.

I don't know if I should watch this, can someone tell me a reason why to pick up this drama? Like what's it about? O_o (the synopsis doesn't really tell you much....)

Basically, the two leads are exes and they work for same production company. A lot of it is about how they live their life. Very realistic. It's really good!

This is one of the best dramas I've seen, but it only makes sense after watching some kdramas before that. After this one, I see other dramas completely differently.

one of the best dramas ive EVER watched tbh. i really grew with this drama. it has most if not all genres in this drama. theres the funny eps (in the middle of the series) then the sad episodes where u just wish the character gets out of their problem bcuz its sad (more towards the end of the drama, where Jiho and Junyeong break up and shes with Daniels character. but overall this drama affected me personally and it made me want a bf like Jiho. I loved their relationship here then i found out Jiho and hyekyo were dating irl it made me so happy bcuz they make such a great pair. aahhh im not even talking about the drama and just talking xD ok ill stop here. but just know the drama is great if u like more melo~ish dramas ^^

in this drama i can conclude that ratings doesnt matter at all. the drama is different from the usual kdrama (e.i. chaebol meets poor girl kind of thing) ive watched so far but love it from bits to pieces. i got hooked to the drama instantly not mainly bcoz of the main leads which by the way you'll swoon how hot hyun bin here but the love story itself and how the characters are being built up to give life to each character. sadly, they got poor ratings but twas interesting to watch and rewatch.

Completed. I liked it, a lot. Very refreshing to see something so down to earth for a change, and the show doesn;t seem to hold back on the aspects of drama prdouction, either. It is not your regular drama and feels very real. Very interesting watch. This one can make me into a Binnie convert too, lol

This show is more adult & realistic than most dramas. It had very cute, meaningful moments between the couple. Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo have great chemistry. I liked the behind the scenes look at making dramas. The themes of love, measuring up to expectations, honesty & friendship were well done.
