My Ultimate List of Favorite KDramas

I've started watching Kdramas in 2017, ever since I've gone back and forth with different genres and in and out of the community. Usually I tend to rely on romatic comedy, suspense and the "feel-good" trope, that is comforting series that will stay with me for a long time. This is a list of the dramas that I loved the most and the reasons why.

at first, it didn't seem like it was going to my favourites list, but after some marathon, i think it deserves so much to be here. this drama got me in tears and hoping it wasn't the end, the ship was a slow burn but so worthed it and the plot itself already give you the chills. everything is great, i loved it.

gave me an existential crisis, honestly. the plot is amazing and the drops too, super interesting and will get you dragged into it. if you ever dreamed of a character coming to life like me, you'll love this. also, the romance is the perfect combination of fluffy and angst.

amazing! the three leads all do a great job, the storyline is funny and you'll want to binge-watch it for sure. it will leave you hungry too, but it's all worth it i guarantee you. watched it two times already, will watch a third if given the opportunity.

  • Happiness

    6. Happiness

    Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

it's 2021 and by now my faith in korean dramas has dropped significantly ever since i started watching back in 2017. my interests have changed, so have i and this drama seemed to pick up on all that i use to love and what i do love now. its a pretty simple plot, the acting is phenomenal and its not as complex our as high production as many dramas recently but it does a great job in bringing a story to life.

i can't tell you how obsessed i was with this kdrama when it was airing. the chemistry between the leads is so good, it leaves you on the edge. it's funny, it's cheeky, it's catchy too. my only complain is that i wanted more fluffy scenes between the leads by the end, but they made a great job regardless!

who doesn't love reply? i took my time with this drama because it's long, but it's so heart-warming that is worth watching. the ost is amazing, the acting cast is even more perfect. it has you going back forth between the two leads, but you're not left disappointed.

  • The K2

    10. The K2

  • The Liar and His Lover

    16. The Liar and His Lover

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

i love this?? the songs are catchy and the development is amazing. the plot is not perfect as others on this list, but i felt head over heels by most of the characters.  it's something fun to watch, i loved it for being so transparent and not trying too much to be perfect as others dramas.
