For the first 7 episodes I was hooked body and soul with this drama I was myself shocked. I had no previous plans to watch it and I picked it by chance. I was so glad I did. But that was it. After 8, it got boring. The love lines became so cheesy. There was so much dragging and such unrealistic and corny scenes and events. I barely managed to finish it; thanks to the superb acting of the two male leads. Though the reason of the whole spying mission might sound ridiculous, judging by what happens in the Hallyu world, it's possible. I loved and admired the acting of the male leads. Eric and Lee Jin Wook gave their all and impressed me. Even in the most cheesy scenes Eric would make it believable and romantic. Lee Jin Wook was the perfect spy. It suited him perfectly. I just loved him here. While Han Ye Seul did a good job, she never impressed me. I don't know what exactly is the problem but I never get impressed. Liked her action scenes and independent personality (at the beginning of course, before falling in love and whatnot). The action scenes were awesome at the beginning but then I grew tired of them. The OSTs were just great. Loved each one. Though too optimistic a view, I liked the reconciliation idea between North and South. Comradeship and loyalty for the country were presented here. Comradeship and love won which I applauded. No matter what, the human comes first. There was much dragging. Lee Duk Hwa got on my nerves awfully -he always does-. The whole thing about the book was not well-written. The drama is certainly not for a marathon. I won't recommend or re-watch it again. Eric and LJW lovers would be able to tolerate it for the brilliant acting.
