Great mini-show with unique characters

This is a great mini-show. It’s funny and different since it’s about a Demon instead of “just” a normal man. That challenges FL who is supposed to change the story because the plot would result in the Demon destroying the world. The problem is that her appearance messes up the plot in an unpredictable (and funny) way. I really love those kinds of twists.
I read in the comments that this had a “Love between Fairy and Demon”-vibe and I fully understand that, LOL.
Character wise: FL is clever and cute. ML is scary but also shows feelings when surprised by FLs advances. His reaction to FLs touch while in trance (communicating with his people) made me laugh and feel embarrassed at the same time.
Acting wise this is very good even if the short format makes it feel rushed. I ended up watching the show with reduced speed (0,75). That felt like the right speed.
Since it’s so entertaining but open-ended, I can’t wait to watch season 2.
So, if you love a good mini-show that has different characters than normal, this is definitely well worth watching.

Funny and interesting mini-show that will get you hooked...

This is such an enjoyable mini-show. The storyline about a supposedly bandit leader taking over the position of Magistrate is brilliant. The storyline is funny and exciting at the same time since it’s lighthearted.
Character wisee this show has lots of funny and interesting characters. I especially love FL who is not a damsel in distress. She is clever and able to fight for herself. ML on the other hand, LOL….
Acting wise this is a better quality than most mini-shows.
So, if you love a romantic comedy with an interesting storyline - and a few twists and turns - this is well worth watching.

Yet another season 2 that's even worse than season 1

This is a continuation from season 1. Sadly the storyline is a little less interesting but the worst part is that the overall quality went downhill, especially the acting part.
If season 2 hadn’t been available to watch right after season 1 I most likely wouldn’t have watched it - and honestly - I wouldn’t have missed anything. Only positive thing is that I actually got the "happy ending" I was hoping for.
Anyway, if you like a short show with a somewhat interesting story - and don’t mind the low quality acting - this is an ok watch.

“You need to be brave in love”

This is a wonderful show. The storyline is romantic, sweet and heartwarming - yet sad and heartbreaking.
It’s a serious case of “You don’t know what you got until it’s too late” - or more precisely “You need to be brave in love”. Sometimes you need a wakeup call in order to man up and move forward - no matter the consequences.
Character wise we have this FL (singer) who has been in love with her friend for 10 years and this ML (director) who has been keeping her at an arm's length due to a promise he once gave his father. While ML is filming a dating-show where FL is paired up with another man, he struggles with his feelings that won’t allow him to let FL go even if she through psychotherapy has given up on her feelings towards him.
Acting wise this is top notch. The actors are great and the chemistry is very good.
So, if you love a mostly lighthearted romantic comedy/drama - with food for thoughts - this is definitely well worth watching.

Lighthearted fluffy romance with a fantasy theme

Warning: Contains a few spoilers.....
This is a wonderful, funny show. The storyline revolving around scents is new and interesting. The love between the main leads becomes epic. It does help that it’s real kisses (lots of them) and not those fishy pecks on the lips, LOL.
One of my favorite characters is actually ML's younger brother, “Yu Ren”. He is so sweet, innocent and full of love. The way he helped his older brother with the unwanted love interest was brilliant. Every time he was in the picture I couldn’t help smiling - OMG, he was so cute. By the way, the BL-vibe is downright hilarious. I honestly couldn't help falling a bit in love with that character.
Character wise I loved that the two brothers had a good relationship - unlike so many dramas these days. I also loved the sacrifice the FLs two assistants (shopkeepers) made to give FL and ML a chance to fight for their love. It was extremely touching.
So, if you love a lighthearted, very sweet and funny romantic comedy - with a touch of drama before a very happy ending - this is a “Must watch”.

Harem story I shouldn't have watched

The tile alone should have kept me from watching this one. Sadly, I’m too stupid, so I watched anyway. I really hate this multiple wife universe where the women are little more than breeding vessels. No wonder those “B”s become scheming and calculating in order to survive.
I know the relationship between the Emperor and FL was set to be some kind of “against all odds” love, but the scene where FL is in bed after the snakebite and him having sex with another woman, enjoying himself with a woman that isn’t even his concubine at the time, had me so disgusted with him, I almost stopped watching.
After watching anyway, I realized that the only character I actually liked in this was the Emperor’s brother, Lord Jin. At least he was smart and made conclusions based on facts.
Well, I guess this kind of story isn’t for me.

Hilarious soul-swapping short show

This one had me switching between slapping my knees and drying off my tears of laughter. It was that funny to start with. Later on it had its serious moments as the story deepend. It was sometimes too fast paced - except for the scene where the Prince rides past FL (ep 1 before soul-swapping), which was in slow-motion, LOL, but luckily it’s possible to slow down the pace of the video. The storyline was interesting and the way the two interact and fall in love with each other while helping the other part in (for ML) discovering the truth and (for FL) achieve a lifelong goal is heartwarming.
Character wise:
FL is a kind but headstrong young woman who’s only wish is to marry the Crown Prince.
ML is one of four outstanding assassins who falls into a conspiracy involving the royal family and the most powerful minister.
2ML is a kind and clever Crown Prince who has his own agenda.
FLs father must be the most supportive I’ve seen so far. He is so sweet and fights for what his daughter wants in life, “If there is anything unhappy in your heart, pour all the bitter water to dad” had my heart bleeding.
Acting wise this is pretty good and the way the two main leads play their roles is very, very well. Only thing is that the actress playing FL is very good in portraying a male but as a woman it was a bit lacking, perhaps due to the directing and the fact that she actually wasn’t that feminine to begin with (the role not the actress).
So, if you love a good soul-swapping romantic comedy, this is a “Must Watch”.

Nice and funny mini-show to pass the time

This is a nice and funny mini-show. The storyline about a woman who enters a comic book isn’t exactly new but it is entertaining. It’s lighthearted and sweet but there is also a comical aspect that is on the brink of silliness, especially in the first half. ML can really shake it, LOL (you’ll know when you see it). Luckily it becomes less silly.
Character wise we have this FL who follows a certain graphic novel on her phone and thinks that the ML in that is a real scumbag. After falling asleep she enters the novel and becomes FL who might or might not be in the possession of a treasure map.
ML is a kind and warm man who is forced to seek out the treasure map - by seducing FL - to save his stronghold from starving.
Acting wise this is not top shelf but it’s not bad either. I think everybody does a decent job within the limited time frame.
So, if you like something fast and lighthearted, this is a nice watch.

Crime-solving short show that is actually a hidden gem.

This is actually a hidden gem. The crime-solving storyline is interesting and exciting - somewhat different from most short shows these days. I love how the case gets unraveled and how the investigation brings about some big twists and turns.
Character wise: We get this smart but cute FL who is dead set on marrying ML. ML is very clever and an excellent investigator - and definitely not up for marrying anyone else but FL. There are a few other interesting characters that play huge roles in this story like the general, the emperor and the Queen but the short format sets a limit to the number of characters and individual stories.
Acting wise this is a very good show. The actors are rather skilled. Only thing is that the chemistry between the leads isn’t quite there and I was only certain of ML's love for FL after he told her directly that he was serious about her. It’s not uncommon that the chemistry is lacking in short shows but it’s always a shame because it gets the viewer less committed to the characters.
Anyway, if you love a good crime-solving story with a sprinkle of romance, this is well worth watching.

Interesting and lighthearted timetravel story

This is such a sweet and wonderful mini-show. The storyline is quite simple. A modern girl has an accident on a film set. She wakes up as a concubine in historical times. The emperor becomes her task towards getting back to the real world. She solves some more or less easy tasks but her mission is to become the empress. That mission gets complicated when other characters get in her way and she starts to fall in love with the emperor.
Acting wise this is actually high quality since the main actors are rather skilled. Nice to see that in one of these mini-shows.
So, if you like a romantic and interesting mini-show, this is well worth watching.

Time travel story with a comical touch

The version I watched was so poorly edited that the story didn’t make much sense. It’s attempted to be comical and that actually works. But when scenes are repeated, the chronology is sometimes wrong and the subs aren’t helping, it gets confusing.
I liked both FL and ML’s characters - and the different kind of love story they have.
The ending was touching but could have been better if it didn’t feel rushed.

Little gem with really good actors, interesting characters, an exciting storyline and no fillers.

This is a great little gem with really good actors, interesting characters, an exciting storyline and no fillers. I liked this strong and sensible FL (a rabbit fairy) and this powerful and cunning ML. Their love story was heartwarming and even if the chemistry wasn’t off the roof, it was good enough for a short and mostly lighthearted story like this.
The short format was fitting and nothing felt rushed, although an open ending always will be somewhat abrupt. I hope there will be a season 2 one day.
So, if you love a good romantic fantasy show - with some twists and turns - this is definitely well worth watching.

A small in-novel gem

This is one of these small gems I am sometimes lucky to stumble upon. It’s a great in-novel costume story with a funny and interesting storyline. The actors are really good and the chemistry between the leads is great - as are the kisses. I truly enjoyed this. So, be sure not to miss out on this one.

SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!!
FL is reading a novel she has been following for a while. This time the writer announces that it won’t be continued, due to the lack of inspiration, and encourages the reader to make up their own ending to the story. Still angry about wasting her time on the story and sorry about not getting an ending for her favorite female character, she opens an envelope that turns out to contain only a Wonderful Travel Certificate. Still annoyed, she goes to sleep with the certificate lying on her chest.
Next she wakes up in a bed with an unknown man lying beside her. Confronting him and exploring the room, she finally realizes that she has somehow transmigrated into the novel. After sending him off, she tries to get back home by going to sleep. When it doesn’t work, she decides to go to the brothel to stop her Prince Consort (ML) performing there. Something her character in the novel, the Princess, supposedly ordered him to before FL entered the body. Since she is now stuck in this body and world, she wants to try and change the destiny of her character, which is to be killed by the Prince Consort (ML).
Her change in personality and actions stirs up things and soon she is balancing on a knife’s edge, between the Queen Dowager, ML and a mysterious man (2ML) with whom the Princess seems to have a deeper relationship. Piece by piece she has to solve the puzzle of her character, while trying to get on the good side of ML.
Not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending.

Nice little short show

Sadly, this must be one of the more boring comedies I’ve seen - at least the middle part. I have seen the cast before, so I know they are good actors, but the comical part is somehow off - or it cannot decide whether to be a comedy or a romance, so it lands in the middle. As a Danish saying goes, it’s neither bird nor fish.
I admit that the last third was pretty good (great twist) so I’m glad I stuck with it and had myself some good laughs every now and then. It also had some nice character developments which is somewhat rare in these short format shows.
Character wise:
FL is a strong but simple (borderline oblivious) woman in search of a certain pill to save her father.
ML is a cunning and calculating thief who wants to rob the place.
Acting wise these are good actors but the directing or storyline lets them down a bit.
Well, if you have some time to burn - and like the cast - this is a nice watch.

Nice short revenge-plot story

This is a nice little revenge-plot story with a fairly simple storyline. The only thing missing is some romance since there is very little - and a couple of kisses would have been nice.
Character wise:
FL is a strong woman thirsty for revenge on the family members who are behind her parents and grandmother's deaths. She accidentally ends up entangled with ML.
ML is a nice and clever man who falls in love with FL, so he makes her quest for revenge his goal too.
Acting wise this is pretty good, but I felt zero chemistry between the leads. Perhaps because the romance-arc was so weak compared to the revenge-arc.
Well, if you like a short story with a strong revenge-plot, this is worth watching.
