What disappoints me the most is how many people think this deserved a 10 star rating.

As far as the story goes it is a complete disaster. It starts out cute but quickly descends into complete madness. Arguments, misunderstandings, lack of communication, cheating, you name it. This lasts all the way up until episode 12 when it finally gets resolved. As soon as the misunderstandings start I recommend you just skip to episode 12 and go from there, you won't be disappointed in the BL make-up scenes (the only redeeming factor of this entire season).
I feel like the only reason people rated this so highly was because the BL scenes are amazing when they do happen, because the story and delivery was garbage.

The acting done by the two male leads is phenomenal as they were in the first season, however I found myself disgusted with characters likes Farm, Bright, and Pete. I couldn't help but skip every single scene with Farm and his shenanigans of revenge, what an absolute waste of time. There was not nearly as much focus on the main male leads as there was in the first season, and the other characters stories were less than satisfying this time around. And what happened to Phubet and Kavitra?? It was sad to not even see them mentioned. The fun and loving Yihwa became pathetic and boring and I wanted to gouge my eyes out as I forced myself to the end of this drama.

The good news is that episode 12+13 were great, which is the only reason I didn't give this show a complete zero. There are a few heartwarming and tear jerking moments towards the end, especially when dealing with coming out to their parents, however it just wasn't enough to redeem the entire season.

I would not have found this drama if it were not for Viki, and thank God for that! How is there no reviews on this yet!?

This drama was a treat, I went in knowing nothing about it and I ended up loving it. Short and sweet, this is worth the watch for any cutesy romantic fans out there such as myself. It is definitely a unique story, and has a very fairy tail type of theme to it, so it almost feels as if you're watching a Disney movie in some ways.

The reason for an 8.5 for acting is because it seemed to take a little bit for the actors to warm up, but towards they end they did a fantastic job. Minami-kun was a bit too stiff for me in the beginning, and although I'm sure that was because of his character roll, I feel like it could have been pulled off differently to where it didn't seem just like bad acting if you know what I mean.
Chiyomi did wonderful acting the whole way through, as well as the rest of the cast, I really got attached to all of the characters of the story. I would love to see her in more dramas in the future!

I dont normally rewatch dramas, but I would most certainly give this one another go, just because of it's short length, charm, and easy going story.

I most certainly recommend this drama!

Ooooh I was so close to giving this the perfect score of 10/10!

This drama begins off a little strange at first, which may turn some of you off of watching it, but i'm telling you, it gets better! This drama had me laughing, crying and feeling sentimental all throughout, and I am a relatively picky drama watcher.

Story: The story was very well planned out, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. It has many twists and turns to keep you guessing and not once was completely obvious as to what was going to happen next. This was not your typical romance whatsoever, which is why I enjoyed it so much, because it wasn't as cliche as most dramas.
My one complaint which was the deciding factor on giving this a 10/10.....The ending felt like it left a few loose ends. I like it when everything in the story gets completely wrapped up, even the things not having to do with the main characters, however, they did not do that for me. There were a few things left unsaid that they could have easily thrown in. I would have been happy watching more than 20 episodes for this! Season 2 anyone? Wouldn't that be great.

Acting: I have no complaints, the acting was phenomenal! I don't think they could have picked better actors for this show, they did a great job.

Music: I actually loved the music! Shocking to me, because I usually get fed up with most drama music by the end of the series, but this had a good variety that actually sounded great and I would continue to listen to the soundtrack.

Overall this is most certainly worth the watch. Especially if you are a fan of mental illness dramas such as myself. It's a great romance, and you fall in love with all of his personalities by the end of it!

I really had high hopes for this after I read all the reviews saying how good it was, but I have to say I was rather disappointed.

It starts off pretty good, but nothing special, and it keeps you guessing as to whats going to happen next, but then it takes a turn for the worst. I would have to say the best part of the entire show is the piano music, which was beautiful, and the romance was cute, but once again nothing special. The couple managed to make it not awkward despite the huge age difference between the two and that was a plus, but that would have to be the ONLY good things about this drama.

The biggest let down for me was the absolute horrendous plot. Even in the beginning they have you a bit confused as to what exactly is going on, and until the very end you still have absolutely no idea what the heck is going on. It was very poorly written and really does not seem to fit in well with the "Secret Love Affair" whatsoever. The story tends to drag in unnecessary places, making you wish they would just get on with it already, and in other places they rush the story so much that it leaves you confused as to what just happened, without any decent explanation whatsoever.

Overall I am very shocked at the amount of good reviews this was given, and I cannot say I would recommend that anyone wastes their time with this. The few spurts of romantic encounters in it was nice, but it just didn't make up for how poorly the plot was executed.

Where to begin? I really loved this at the beginning. I love the actors/actresses, and the story seemed to be different than most which is always a plus. However, things went downhill as many dramas tend to do, and this one in particular decided to use every single cliche there is in the world of dramas. Oooh the cliches....I could hardly bear it. There's doing a cliche the right way, as to not annoy the watchers too much, and there is overdoing it to the point of asking yourself, "Is this seriously happening?"

Don't get me wrong, I love cheesy dramas and I love a good romance, and this almost had it all until it continued to mess it up when it didn't need to be touched! Trot Lovers was on the right path to being a perfect romance in my opinion, but it just didn't reach its potential.

I wouldn't let the negative reviews stop you from watching it, but proceed with caution and brace yourself for a drama filled with cliches. If you don't mind those, then you're golden, go ahead and proceed!

Overall I did enjoy it, but I did get very annoyed towards the end. The couples are adorable and lovable and the story is mediocre.

This really started off great, it was hilarious, it was mysterious, and it kept you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happened next. And then....it plummeted.

I was rather disappointed with how much this dragged towards the end. Whoever was in charge of writing the romance to this drama should be fired, as I wanted to gouge my eyes out whenever I had to experience the extremely awkward romance that went on between the main characters. This drama would have been just as great if they left that out.

I too agree that this could have been shortened to 16 episodes instead of 20, as it was the last 4 episodes that dragged the worst. It felt so unnecessary, and I found that there were so many flaws in this drama that I couldn't help but to constantly point them out and laugh.

I wish I could say more good things about it but the only redeeming factor was the comedy in the beginning and the friendship between the characters, but sadly it did not stick towards the later episodes and left me feeling empty.

I really wanted to like this movie but I found myself disappointed at the outcome. The piano in it was fabulous, and it started off really good and sweet, but towards the end it just took a turn for the worst for me. The plot was very messy and it seemed like it was just rushed at the end, leaving me confused as to what just happened as well as contradicting itself. If things were better explained then I wouldn't have given this such a low rating, but unfortunately this movie just didn't do it for me.

Good actors, good music, and a good idea for a story but it needed to be wrapped up in a better way.

So you're probably asking yourself whether or not you should watch this version of Hana Kimi or not. I would say go for it!

There are two things that bothered people the most. 1, the main female lead is a bit hard to get used to at first and isn't very appealing, and 2, the ending isn't what most people were expecting and they were a little disappointed...BUT it's not a horrible ending, it's just different from the other Hana Kimi endings. As for Rui Xi, you get used to her and realize she isn't all that bad, and she definitely pulled off being a guy VERY well.

What I liked the most about this version was the chemistry was amazing between not only the main roles, but everyone else as well. Quan(main male lead), was the BEST out of all versions. He didn't come off as a jerk, his acting was brilliant, and you could just feel his emotions throughout his role. Not only that, but he is definitely the best looking in my opinion. I started this mainly for Jiro Wang and for the story of Hana Kimi that I love, but I did not expect to fall head over heals for Quan aka Wu Chun.

This version was also the funniest for me as well and I caught myself with a permanent grin stuck on my face as I was watching this...which was pretty embarrassing, but that's just how good it was, it makes you smile!

I loved everything about this, sure it's cheesy, but you should already be expecting that going into Hana Kimi, it's supposed to be horribly cheesy, but that's what I like about it. Yea, I wish the ending would of went a little differently, but that doesn't stop me from recommending this to you guys, it's worth it.

What can I say? This was hilarious. It is definitely for mature audiences as there is nudity in it and sex scenes, but when you get past that it's a pretty good movie. The story is cute, and if you've ever been in a long distance relationship like I have....You understand the thrill of talking to someone over the phone for long periods of time and even having one thing lead to another.

I really like the characters and the male lead to me, was just adorable. He isn't your typical korean tough guy/asshole, and he actually has a soft squishy side which I found made him more lovable. Yes, you may watch this if you're looking for eye candy.

I really don't have any complaints at all about the movie, it's definitely a must watch if you're into anything and everything romance like I am, especially if you're sick and tired of your typical lame kiss scenes that seem all too common in Korean TV; because these ones are very real and very passionate.

If you don't mind sex, vulgar language, and nudity then give this a shot, you'll laugh and go "aww" at the same time.

I really enjoyed the 2008 drama of Koizora so I thought I would give the movie a shot and see how it compares, especially since it had one of my favorite Japanese actors, Miura Haruma in it, but as it turns out I was really disappointed.

For the movie, it felt extremely rushed. They tried too hard to cram everything they possible could into 2 hours and it just wasn't enough time. Although it was rushed, it also felt really slow at the same time and I almost fell asleep watching it.

The actors didn't do a very good job at all...they just weren't into their roles like they should have been. It's a tragedy, and they just didn't really make it out to be as emotional as it should be. It felt to me like there was hardly any dialogue throughout the movie, so they made it impossible for you to get emotionally attached to the characters and the situations they went through.

If you are interested in the story of Koizora, then I would stay away from this movie and go watch the 6 episodes of the drama because it was 100 times better than this movie. That's probably why they did a remake of it, because they realized how badly they messed it up.

I'm sorry Miura Haruma, but you just were not able to capture my heart in this like I had hoped. :(

This drama really blew me away. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. Where to start?

The bromance in this story is definitely some of the best I have ever seen. The guys' relationships with each other is just perfect. They give you a flashback of when they were younger before each episode and I found myself crying from laughing so much.

The romance is also amazing as well. The story plays out really well and gives all the characters a chance to shine, and you really get attached to them. I could of easily watched 20 more episodes of just the everyday lives of these guys.

It really does prove that some boys just take longer to turn into men then others, and that it's not necessarily a bad thing.

The only reason I give the music a 9 is because I really did not like the songs that were sang in English, they made me cringe, but other than that the soundtrack is pretty good.

I watched this with my husband and even he enjoyed it as much as I did. It's definitely a nice change watching a drama based around adults, and the older you are, probably the more you will enjoy this.

A must see, don't continue to put this one on hold, just go watch it!

The title of this really made me not want to watch it at all, but I figured I would give it a shot since so many people gave it good ratings.

Do I regret it? Not really. Could I have survived without watching it? Yea, probably.

Nothing really stood out to me in this show and even though it wasn't your typical "rich man meets poor helpless girl" story, it just didn't really pull me in like others have. I felt that there was an unnecessary relationship in the beginning of the show that could have been left out and it really bothered me. It really had no place in the overall story.

The romance took too long to progress in my opinion, and when it did, it was very typical. If you've watched a lot of romance dramas you would know, and it really does get old when they all end in similar ways, using the same methods.

Overall, it was cute, the lead female is great actress, and the music wasn't bad either, but this just isn't one of those rare gems for me. You can read through the reviews and decide for yourself whether to watch it or not, but if you skip it, you won't really be missing out too much.

I was really hoping to enjoy this as much as the 11 episode drama but it really seemed like not much changed in this Special. The "romance" didn't really improve and the characters just didn't develop at all which left me a little disappointed.

I found myself skipping the long minutes of orchestra playing. It was just too much for me. I understand the show is about music, but I would of enjoyed it more if they put more into the characters and the story. I felt like I was just watching an orchestra play throughout over half of the movie.

If you really enjoy classical music, you will probably love this to death, but for me, it just wasn't really my thing. The comedy was great as always and I love the characters, but that's the only redeeming factors for me.

Onto Part II.....

To start off, I really enjoyed this drama and found that it had the perfect combination of comedy and tragedy. They did a good job being able to bring you down then lift you back up and leave you with a feel-good feeling in the end.

The story was very interesting and I thought it was done really well; however, towards the ending I felt that it lost its charm a few episodes before the ending and became too serious and very cliche. It was able to redeem itself in the end though.

I also agree with everyone that they were a little too metaphor heavy and I found myself having to rewind some parts just to fully understand what they were trying to say.

The actors were of course brilliant and I saw no flaws whatsoever. I absolutely loved the cast and their characters.

The music.....it got annoying. It is definitely not a soundtrack I will be listening to again. The instrumental version of the songs were nice but the other songs just did not stand out to me at all and were more of a nuisance than anything.

Overall I think this makes it to the list of 2013 dramas to watch because it was a good drama and it had a cute romance which is a plus for me.

I was hesitant to watch this at first because I hate watching older shows....but after a long while I decided to finally swallow my pride and give it a shot.

This is one of the funniest shows I've watched in a long time! If you enjoy classical music you will definitely like this, but if you aren't a big fan of classical music you may just want to skip it because the majority of the show is listening to the music.

I did feel that it was a little too music based for my tastes and would of preferred more comedy and a little more detail to the actual story line, but other than that it was great.

This review is based strictly off of episodes 1-11 and not the specials, I'll do a review on those separately.

This is most definitely a show you shouldn't miss out on and I think everyone who watches it can enjoy it, it leaves you with a feel-good feeling after every episode and occasional tears from laughing too hard.
