Mr.queen is a MUST watch drama!!!

This is one of a kind historical drama. and I should say it's been such along time since I watched such a good historical drama.
From the acting to the production to the script , everything is just perfect. 20 episodes and you won't feel time passing by.

Usually dramas that starts with comedy tend to end up not being so hilarious until the end. But Mr.queen managed to maintain the humor along with the suspense and the thrill. The story is light but you will find yourself laughing, cringing and at times even crying. This is a drama that will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat until the very end.

This drama brings out various emotions and mixed feeling and explore an area in historical dramas that were never explore before.

And as always actress Shin Hye Sun did an amazing job and so did the rest of the cast. Plus the OST!!!loooved it!!

You NEED to watch this!

I started watching this without many expectations and but I got hooked up from the very first episode!! I thought the story was dumb, a boss locked inside a phone?!! And I wasn't very satisfied with the casting line up BUT the drama told F*UK U in so many ways!!

The cast had very good chemistry, from the lil baby girl to the evil witch in the story!! an absolute best performance!! The story basis is very simple, a jobless guy finds a phone with a CEO of an AI company stuck inside, and the jobless guy becomes the temporary CEO overnight and starts to investigate to what happened on the day his boss disappeared with the help of his secretary and a bodyguard. The three musketeers go on an adventure to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of their missing boss.

The story is simple but it was written with perfection with no loopholes, keeping the suspense until the very end and was perfectly delivered by the cast.

Is it even legal to pack so much cuteness into one drama??!! She would never know is such a amazing drama, conveying a beautiful love story. Almost all through the 16 episodes, I found myself smiling like an idiot at the cute couple moments, the cringy moments. the chemistry between the leads and the rest of the couples in this drama in my opinion is 100% . Even the little ha eun and her preschool boyfriend is so adorable.

This is one of those dramas you gotta watch. In terms of script, production and acting everything is just perfect.

Unpopular opinion - This drama doesn't deserve the hype it's getting.

First of all, I've been a fan of Shin Min Ah for years and I love her acting a lot.

But I personally think this drama doesn't deserve the hype it's getting. The story is pretty lukewarm, nothing that keeps you hooked up to the story. This story reminds me of those 100+ episode weekend dramas, except they squeezed it into 16 episodes.

The story is laid-back, portraying the daily life of a rural village, and the string of events that takes place when a woman from the city comes to live in it.

The story is okay. The acting is better with a good cast. But it doesn't deserve all the hype it's getting.

I personally had a hard time watching it because it was too boring. I even skipped most parts and managed to finish one-hour episodes in 20 minutes. I didn't even feel like watching it at the end, but I did because I hate to do things half-ass and I was hoping things would get better but NO!! It doesn't!! It's boring until the very end.

This is one of the best Nam Goong Min drama.

I'm standing on an empty road all by myself. The sun is shining brightly. and the clock that's never wrong says that it's 12. Then I wonder to myself. "Is it noon or midnight?"

To me, this is one of the best Nam Goong Min drama. I got goosebumps while watching this drama. the suspense, the thrill... absolutely catching. One thing I love about this drama is how do Jung woo's every word is a hint to solving the next step in the mystery. the drama is perfectly written and delivered well by the actors and actresses. But i should say that I thought it will end with a bang but instead, it just ended with a whiff of smoke. Although the ending was understandable for a thriller like this i wished there was more to it. but i guess it's okay. Worth the watch.

100/10

This is an all-around 10/10 for me. Who needs romance dramas when u have a perfectly sassy gumiho??!! Trust me this is INFINITE times better than season 1. Honestly, I wasn't so impressed with season 1; the romance was too dull for me, and the only thing that piqued my interest was Lee Yeon's sexy hair and Kim Bum, who made a stunning comeback after a long time! So at first, I was even wondering why the hell they need a season 2. Hence, I started watching with a slight doubt BUT...... FK romance, romance played only a very small role but the action scenes, and the crazy friend trio was just PERFECT.

If u ask me, just watch season 2 instead of watching season 1. From what I see, season 1 doesn't play a major role in season 2, the two seasons tell two different stories. You only need to know 3 thing,

1. Lee Yeon is a Joseon Mountain God who fell in love with a human woman. After she dies, he waited for her to reincarnate which she did in modern times. CUZ Foxes have only ONE mate for LIFE!!!
2. Lee Yeon has a brother called Lee Rang who dies in season 1 trying to save him, so LY feels guilty about it, plus they have a bro complex.
3. Lee Rang has a love-hate relationship with his brother, he thinks he was abandoned by Lee Yeon so he's kinda like a kid who's trying to throw tantrums at Lee Yeon trying to get his attention.

That's all u need to know from season 1 to watch season 2.

In terms of acting, production, storyline everything is close to being perfect. The story of a simple love story of a fool On dal and a princess recreated into a powerful story about power and sacrifice. the story progress steadily and gradually. The battle scenes were exceptionally good and quite interesting to watch. In short, rationally speaking this is a good drama.

About replacing Ji soo with Na in woo, although I initially found it disturbing but later came to the conclusion that Na in woo was a better choice after all and the actor did an amazing job of portraying our lead character on dal.

But truthfully the first thing that came into my mind by the 20th episode is "thank god it's finally over!!". For me, this is emotionally exhausting. River where the moon rises is about a fight between clans for the throne. In the midst of it is a princess who uses the love and devotion of her lover and wields it as a knife for power and personal revenge. Princess Pyeong Gang never cared for the people. instead, she used on dal and his entire clan for personal revenge and to keep her family in power. in the process not only on dal lost his mother but also many others, only for it to all end up with her a**hole of a brother to sit on the throne. To use peace for the 3 kingdoms as justification, the process was too acute to accept. I guess this is where the word ambitious princess comes in.

What was even more depressing is that while caught up in the power game she completely ignored On Dal on several occasions and refuse to notice his suffering. When he finally left is when she regrets it.

Here every character in the story is driven by a personal vendetta while sugar-coating it as love and sacrifice and I found this emotionally exhausting.

You are most likely going to get a stroke watching this.

If your planning to binge-watch this drama then good luck!! cuz calling this drama intense is an understatement. You are most likely going to get a stroke watching it. The story is very detailed with multiple things happening in one-time frame so at times it's even overwhelming to keep up with how fast this drama spans out. This drama basically is about uncovering the mentality of a psychopath, the topic is deep, and if your too empathetic you're most likely to end up feeling like a psychopath yourself at the end of the drama.
The drama focuses mainly on the mystery and chasing after a psychopath, so there is no romance to talk about. although at one point they give us a taste of romance it's taken away unceremoniously before we can even enjoy it.
And a friendly piece of advice, while watching this don't try to guess who the psychopath is from the beginning, because whoever you think it is is probably not the one, and even if you do, the story is not gonna unfold the way you think it will. This is one of those dramas where you can't predict what's going to happen next because each and every plot twist is more creative than the one before.
The acting, production, and quality of the drama are top-notch.

Superb drama that will break your heart in so many ways.

This story is about a poor high school kid, who decides to swap his life with his wealthy friend with the help of a magic golden spoon. The transition between Lee Seung Chun and Hwang Tae Yong was pretty smooth without confusion and the story is heartbreaking in many ways.

Honestly, although LSC became wealthy, the one who got the short end of the stick from this swap was also him. LSC loved his family so much and he couldn't handle seeing them suffer because of his incompetent dad, so he had to take things into his hands and decided to swap his parents with a rich one. But he felt guilty and lived with that guilt for over 10 years while looking at his family continuing to live happily with the HTY instead.

Why I say he got the short end of the stick was because the one who gained the most from the swap was HTY. He got two loving parents and no longer had to live in a stifling rich family. He could live however he wanted and he had LSC who was looking over their family like a guarding angel. Although poor he didn't have to suffer as much as LSC did when he was poor. And LSC lived that most dangerous 10 years for him and survived. Because if HTY had to live those 10 years, with his cowardly personality he would have been fertilized in some vineyard in a foreign country, with Seo Joon Tae behind his back. While LSC lived it for him and successfully made a comeback.

The overall story had lots of ups and downs and every moment was perfectly delivered by the cast, until the very end the writer kept us on the hook on who will end up as who. I'm not going to judge this drama because of the ending of this drama because overall it is really damn good. Because I didn't see that ending coming. It was abrupt and I kind of felt that all of LSC effort went to waste in just a few seconds. But also, I am glad he survived in some way or the other. So in a way, the ending had me conflicted but the story was superb and I won't let the ending make me feel bad in any way.

This drama is also a place we get to see, Yook Sung Jae in his sexy suit, making my heart melt in so many different ways. I would recommend anyone to watch this drama because each episode will keep you wanting to watch more.

I don't know how to sugar coat this so I will say this plain and clear, this drama sucks. Bad is not even close. I did watch all the 12 episodes hoping it will get better but hell no!! it just gets worse!! episode 8 and 9 was good but then the story kept on declining. The production is good and the OST is super good but that's pretty much it. The plot is all over the place, and the characters in the story are just annoying. not only the bad guy are annoying( bad guys are annoying ) but even the good guys in the story are annoying. The main character just blows up like an angry bird everytime he gets annoyed, like please writer give up a break??!! I would have understood if it happened ones or twice but no, he keeps blowing like a fuse gone bad. Although the acting is good but I still don't like a choice of casting but that's entirely my opinion.

I guess the more hope I had for this drama, the more disappointed I got.

This is an absolute must watch.

I've been wanting to write a review for this for a long time but I couldn't because I don't know where to start gushing about this drama. I absolutely LOVE LOVE this drama!! Each and every episode is worth watching.

This is not your kind of typical revenge drama. In summary, this drama is about Li Chang Ge, who initially set out to get revenge from the Tang empire ended up returning as a guarding angel to it instead.

My most favorite part of the drama is the relationship development between the 2 main characters. From being friends to fellow comrades and finally, to lovers, the transition is absolutely beautiful!! In the beginning, Li Chang Ge is like a loose cannon leaving chaos in her path and our male lead ( Ashile Sun ) pretty much cleans after her and saves her ass at every corner. and together they make an invincible team with brain and brawn. And I like how the male lead has eyes only on Li Chang Ge, which is so cute!! This drama is about how these two lost souls finding solace and family in each other.

And my second most favorite part is the transition of Li Chang Ge. Initially, she was just blind to revenge but gradually she realizes that the lives of people are more important than her revenge which transformed into a guardian angel of both Tang and the grasslands together with Ashile sun. This is why this story takes a whole new turn into revenge drama.

For me, this drama is on par with other great dramas like the legend of Fuyao, princess agents, etc. From the casting to ost to costumes everything is perfect. With Dilraba, Leo Wu, Rosy Zhao the drama can't get any perfect, and their acting blows you away. especially Leo Wu. The OST and soundtracks in this drama are absolutely beautiful. I once saw this video about the making of the soundtracks and it made me realize how much effort they put into making them.

I read the manhua and I love both versions of the drama and the manhua!!

All in all, this is one of the best period dramas and an absolute must-watch.

D.U.M.B

I guess I'm just dumb to expect something good from this drama. It started off really well but then I just don't have any other nice word to say than dumb. Then I skipped a few episodes, just hoping.......with a teeny tiny bit of hope that the story will get better but.........................TADA! It gets dumber and dumber and dumber and then I just watched the final episode and phew it's over!!! yay! At least the ending was good.

My conclusion after watching not almost all the episodes --> These four friends pretend to be so high and mighty and clever but they are dumb as fk.

So in my opinion, 24 hours a day is precious, so don't waste ur time on this. Don't be dumb like me. My 5/10 is only because of the actors and actresses.

A Hidden Gem

And here I thought Awaken was the best Namkoong Min drama...I was WRONG!!
I would recommend watching this drama just for his amazing acting!! And I always feel sorry for his co-actors, especially the female leads in all his dramas because he always manages to steal the limelight of the show. (LOL)
There are some pretty badass female leads and the other co-stars also did an amazing job.
This drama is truly a hidden gem and needs more recognition.

It also has some pretty good OSTs too.

Missing village - level two

Missing: The Other Side Season 2 is like level 2 of season 1. S2 will be unlocking new mysteries and secrets into missing villages. Like S1, S2 will not disappoint you and will be as much a masterpiece as the 1st. There will be new characters that will do justice to this masterpiece but the main leads remain the same from S1.

In this season, you will see, Kim Wook, Jang ajushi, Lee Jong Ah and Shin Joon Ho, team up to search for missing children mostly with the help of Oh Il Yong, who seems to be able to walk out of the village despite the fact that he is dead. The story is heartwarming and exciting in every way.

You will need to watch S1 to understand S2, both are masterpieces and will keep you on the edge to the very end.

The title of the drama is very misleading.

" Now, We Are Breaking Up ", the first thing that pops up in my head is the story is about a breakup between the main couple.

In truth, it's not. It talks about various types of breakups, whether it is between a couple, a mother and daughter, husband and wife, various other relationships, and even life and carrier.

Daaamn, but can we talk about how depressed Song Hye Kyo is in the drama???!! idk in both this and her last drama "encounter", her character is a very depressing woman, who is in forbidden love. like wth??!! The drama is supposed to be motivating, instead, it's VERY depressing to watch.

In short, I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch it
