I am a HUGE fan of Park Shin Hye. So I am very critical of what dramas/movies she acts in. So I'll give an honest (hopefully short) review of this show. Acting/Cast: Everyone was spectacular in this drama. Kim Seul Gi, who plays the chief editor role, stole the show for me. She has a very loveable character and is pretty hilarious. The actors act the serious scenes really well and also act the funny scenes perfect. Music: Ok, so JRabbit is plastered all over this drama. Which it shouldn't be a bad thing, but it was this time around. While she does have a beautiful voice, I got tired of hearing the same exact song for such a long period of time. Park shin hye would come on sometimes and sing her song. But I didn't really start hearing any difference in music until the later episodes. Story/Overall: Ok let's end this thing. The story was pretty good. It wasn't anything spectacular but it also wasn't recycled (which is good). There is a WHOLE LOT of aegyo and super cute acting in this so, if that makes you mad, then you'll want to kill yourself at the end of this drama. The story starts off really good. They introduce a lot of characters who are all very different and come from all different places. I loved watching this drama at first. Although I loved the two mains, I still found myself attached to everyone else because it just felt like one big misfit family. The story progresses really good, but only for about half the drama. It falls REALLY flat towards the end. I couldn't wait to finish it so I could just be done with it. It felt like the relationship between the two mains peaked too early. Like there was nothing left for them to do for like 4 episodes lol. And as I mentioned earlier, I loved the sub-cast, but the back-story for some of them was totally non-existent. Which made me really mad. In those 4 episodes where the leads weren't doing anything they could've really expanded upon the stories of the other characters so that you can really feel immersed in the drama. They all live in those cheap run down apartments. But why? What happened in their lives to make them all live close to poverty? Everyone has a unique story as to why they are at where they are at in life. And they do kind of explain for a lot of the characters, but some are left out. They have characters that appear in almost every episode that you just never know anything about lol. That was annoying. They could've developed the back story a little more to divert attention from the mains because the mains ran out of juice towards the end. Rewatch value is low. Mainly because it's pretty boring maybe halfway through and towards the end. You'll be glad that it is finally finished.
