There's so many girls after Feng Teng now, and I still feel like this show isn't going anywhere. Even after it's official that he is wooing her and that they've kissed! Stupid freeze kiss.
There are funny moments, but I keep hoping things will pick up.
Oh, and that horrible seaweed jacket Feng Teng wore to the party? Eew. Wardrobe department fail!

Not to mention at this point the leads feel distant from each other and from viewers. It's episode 9, I really feel like they should be more developed. More progress. The time they're together feels cold, and it's brief. Leaving little to know room for development. Big Boss is a cold and aloof male lead. He really needs to start be developed more.
I get that they have 33 episodes to play with, but I need some development!!
Shan Shan is seriously entering the realm of willful ignorance. All that's left is for someone to put on a hula skirt, do a dig, smack her over the head, and say, "Big Boss is pursuing you, and YOU like him!"
Fun moments, but the show is starting to really drag. The only thing being developed well is the product placement.

Poor ladder boy has been forgotten. Just a slight side note on the way to the true romance.
The cartoons are back and not quite so annoying. Why is it Naïve for Shan Shan to be aware of money? Personally I agree that you don't have to have to spend money to have fun. The little things in life are what make it awesome. That's why Feng Teng likes her.
While another fun episode it's still light and fluffy. I'm having fun, though there really isn't much to this drama at this point. Besides Shan Shan's cousin and roommate most of the other female cast is the enemy to some extant. I hope things expand more in Shan Shan's world view. I'll still be happy with a cute and single minded romance.

Oh! The magic. The important people are figuring out that Ya Nuo and Zi Feng are a couple. While confused I love that they accept it. It's a very moving thing. It's always touched my heart when the male lead falls in love with the girl thinking she's a man. However, they never let the other people think they're a gay couple. They don't become an item until after the gender truth reveal! So I have to really thank the writers of Bromance.
They may take all the hijinks and tropes jamming them in, but they're going the distance! This is definitely turning into one of my most favorite gender benders. I may not be rating all the episodes super high, but I'm really enjoying them. Bromance has a beautiful romances and really develops the characters. Thank you.
Side note: I miss Ya Nuo's cousin!!!!!!! I want her back.

Age of Youth Episode 10

This one definitely focuses on Yoon Jin Myeong. Of course the episode still develoeps what's happening with the other girls, this is her epiosde. I'm a little disappointed that the past probably will never be answered. What happened to her brother and her past. It's harsh and the real impact is her current life right now and how it's unfolding. This epiosde felt dangerous and the end was moving.
That doesn't stop it from being a slower episode at times. There's a lot of reflection here. I'm also nervous about where Park Jae Wan and Yoon Jin Myeong will end up. As she was basically fulfilling their wish and saying goodbye.
While I really want to see Ye Eun move on to a great guy, it is realistic that she's having a hard time moving on. She's fulfilling her life without a guy right now. That's perfectly acceptable and healthy. After all Ye Eun was in love, it will take some time to get over Doo Yeong. Props to her for putting up a front. Fake it til you make it.
This episode really highlights how much the girls have come together. I love seeing how much they care for one another.
Oh, and I loved Eun Jae's mom. Ye Eun's right. It's romantic and I am totally jealous!
Can't believe that their are only 2 episodes left. I'm really nervous that it won't end in a satisfactory (AKA closure) way. Either fans are clamoring for a second season because it's so good, or because it's kind of none ender.

Sunny and Wang Yeo may have met, but nothing is happening. It's frustrating. Not only that buy I still don't like what Kim Shin and Eun Tak relationship is. It's super immature and childish. While it's cute to some degree, I find it unrealistic. Not to mention that I could go on and one for plot holes.
I still feel the development of them suddenly loving each other. Face it. It's instalove, and I feel cheated.
Not to mention what is with all the cut scenes? Where it cut and repeated the scene again, but slightly different. The one at the end when he's apparently jumping into the future to "see" was okayish, but the ones before it felt off. I actually had to go back and see if it was Dramafever skipping again, but that normally either skips ahead or backwards, never repeats.
I still have faith and I can't really quit this one, but I still desperately want MORE from the writing.

Also, very proud of Jeong Ye Eun! I like that in the end she made the right decision for herself. Hopefully this means Ye Eun and Senior Kang can finally be friends!
I really feel bad for Jin Myeong and hope that she can soon rely on the other girls and open up. It's not healthy keeping it all in like that.
It was both heart warming and heart breaking watching all the girls comfort Jeong Ye Eun. To know that Jin Myeong was keeping so much to herself. That while they've come closer, they're all still strangers.
Oh, and I love-love-love Eun Jae's romance! I love how patient, and when he needs to be forceful, to get the romance going. He knows when he needs to get her out of her head so that they can have a relationship in real life. Go my girls!! At least I know they can tag team any villains!

Not to mention Yi Na's realization that she's not happy, and she's the one holding her life back. She's finally truly saving herself from drowning.
Again I love each girl! I love how human they are and I truly believe that viewers can find at least one thing in common with each of them, if not more in common! They're relatable and that's what I love.
Eun Jae has me worried. What happned with her dad? I feel like it's something sinister lurking. When she didn't trust Jae Wan (That's her puppies name right?) I felt so heart broken. However, this is a first love and this is her biggest secret. What I love is that he confesses that he's completely hers and that he still follows her even after she won't talk about it.
For the sake of not spoiling things, I truly love where the story is going. The end "interviews" were great! I can't believe there's only 3 episodes left and it will all be over.

Overall this episode annoyed me. Too many lame things to get the plot going. I could have done with out the magazine line. Lame.
I do like Na Na's storyline. Find a lost family can be a moving storyline.
Also, don't have a second lead if he's only utilized for annoying plots. They bring him in and I don't care because they haven't really done anything with him.
At least the ending is promising and the previews are promising more! How will he handle her in drag???? What will she say. Is it male her in drag, or really her?

First come first serve, is this a Thanksgiving feast? Ha-ha. The really I think Feng is understanding enough that she explained that her parents truly believed she would die would and that by pacifying them in a way she believed it too. He would totally get it.
So I have never actually scene a baby delivering scene in a drama before. No really. It's a huge American movie/tv show trope. I loved how they made everyone lift their jackets up for privacy and when the delivery was successful everyone was hugging and then they quickly put their jackets up.
On that note I did find out that the cousin is "teacher" because Pi Ya Nuo is younger and looks up to her. So that's nice. Cousin is so awesome! Actually I thought of the pretending to be the sister twist as well. Ha-ha.
What's not nice is that I was cheated out of an epic freaking confession!!! Curse it. No really. How awesome would it have been for Du Zi Feng to have this dinner planned and confess himself to Pi Ya Nuo? First off all curse the writer for creating that "twist" and secondly for dropping Pi Ya Nuo's gay cover up. I think being gay up front and having feelings for men would be an easier cover.
Fudge. So that knocked it down to just more dragging it out. The end confession was cruel. That would have been a good time for full feelings and some kissing please.
Na Na and Wie Qing Yang had some good time together and I hope this means they'll be back developing their relationship. Though does this make them cousins? The problem with calling someone Uncle is it's on clear if they're blood related or not.
On wards! Let the writer feel like breaking the mold.

The Scholar Who Walks the Night Episode 3

The allure of even Lee Joon Gi and Lee Joon Gi in all their hot vampire-sexy-glory can't keep me. I really-really-really wanted to drool over them dang it! Especially since they're both in a freaking drama together! It's like this ultimate sexy smash up and I can't even enjoy it! No really how often are actors on this caliber of hotness together? Not often. I know everyone talks about the perfect couples being cast all the time. For me this was the perfect male hotties being cast. ;_;
I just can't stick through.
The reality is that Scholar Who Walks the Night is a mash up of all kinds of dramas and I can already see how it borrows bits and pieces. The whole idea of this evil sexy vampire controlling the kings and thus the kingdom is awesome. The struggle for the future monarchs to free themselves is great. Yet I can clearly see where this drama is gonna get boring. Heck I'm already bored and the terrible righting isn't helping. Maybe I'd push through if it was 16 episodes or less. But no. They brought in another writer to even help clean it up at episode 10! That does not bode well.
*Just read some recaps. Yeah, no loss. That secret weapon crap. Ugh, I'm out.*
In the end this drama suffers from horrible writing. I gladly toss this onto my Dropped Dramas pile. With pride.

That said this episode was A-mazing. Yeah for Lee Ji Sang and Park Soo Kyeong. I truly believe that Park Hoon played cupid. (No Anna though!!)
This was a great episode to showcase character growth. Tae Jin had me worried, but I believe some of Oh Hae Yeong #2's character growth rubbed off. It's great to see how it's happened, especially with her and Oh Hae Yeong #1 being comrades. I think they could be friends.
Also points to Oh Hae Yeong #1's coworker with the hair. I love that he kind of knows everything, but he's so nice. I hope that maybe they could somehow let him have a happy ending since there's still one episode left. Come on! He knew what they were saying, but helped them out and was a total gentleman.
I love Oh Hae Yeong #1 even more for knowing who Do Kyeong is and never doubting him. What a sweet moment. Especially as her parents accepted him. Because in that moment I realized that Do Kyeong is a lot like Hae Yeong's dad. Come on their both quiet types and you can see more. That's why her dad likes him and has been cheering them on. (In his quiet way.)
Overall a fabulous episode and I look forward to what the ending will be. I love the message of finding happiness, never living with regret, saying what you wanna say, and that every action will have a reaction. Most importantly you can always change and fight for your future.
The singer thing was a nice touch. The fact that it's been snuck in the whole time and had such a heavy connection was interesting.

Not to mention someone needs to knock Do Kyeong's mom down off her peg. It's true it was all set in motion by her selfish actions. I love that Do Kyeong is okay with it because it brought him to Oh Hae Yeong #1. The moments of these two protecting and loving each other was intense.
The face off between Oh Hae Yeong and Tae Jin felt so real. Her words echoed many of the thoughts I had about his decisions and his motives for wanting her back.
Loved how much Do Kyeong's coworkers/friends showed how much they love him. It was perfect. Totally awesome. Not to mention Anna and Park Hoon relationship is in totally awesome the awesome zone. Anna kicked butt and earned respect.
In contrast Lee Ji Sang and Lee Ji Sang's relationship is entering is not leaving Boredom Ville. Really I kind of want it to be over. Give me something epic and worthy of them, or just stop it. Please.
To be quite honest the pacing, crying, and dragging out is kind of killing some of the impact. I'm so happy with the awesomeness of the characters and then suddenly we're pulled into another boring reel or dragged out scene. There's a point where making it dramatic enters it making it dramatically long so it's boring.
Two more episodes left I feel like there was so much wasted time and hope that the next two episodes can pull it all off.

Who knew I'd be asking that already! They are pushing this plot along so fast. I mean it's working out great. No time to doubt! Just have a blast.
I think it needs to be said how much I love Fan Xiao Jing, Pi Ya Nuo's cousin! From her whole sexy whispered "First kiss" teasing to handling being kissed by another girl with "I was just kissed by a girl, but I kind of liked it." Queue song please! This girl is dynamite and I love her.
Not to mention Feng, Du Zi Feng's mother. This woman is fierce! With a shake of her finger she stalled that shameful reporter out. With words of awesome power she justified being a gangster. Excuse me whilst I go sign up for my new life as a mob woman. Because justified and totally acceptable now. ^_-
It seemed so out of place, but then I started to fall into it. What do you think it is? Why it's Wei Qing Yang (the quiet friend of Du Zi Feng) who hasn't really had much time to quietly start a romance. I love this guy. No words and he acts his way into my heart. Plus, the girl hitting on him is so cute. Come on the coffee was only an illusion. (Oh, and I totally think Wei Qing Yang knows that Pi Ya Nuo is a girl.)
So what hijinks have we crammed in here? Well a swing set romance--I love swinging they really know how to wham me with the feels. Drink sharing already! After an accidental kiss, oh my! We're moving too fast slow down. Then we're on a cruise at the same time, there's naked shoulders, pool diving, shower scenes, sleeping that leads to hand in pocket snuggling!, wrist grabs that last a super long time, and the drowning connection! Phew. This episode is packed.
I dislike all the woman teasing! I get it being a man is better for her. Men are awesome. She's a woman and doing all the things a guy does. At least Feng isn't constantly saying "don't be indecisive/have-undesirable-trait like a girl. (No really. She's a woman! Don't insult your sex.) I liked the truth that drunk=truth when you're talking. Truth of life, but other things happen when one is drunk.
My last thoughts are the answer to Du Zi Feng's question to Pi Ya Nuo: Was his butt firm enough?
So yeah. I did enjoy this episode and I feel like it's checking off the gender bender trope list nicely, maybe this means future episodes will focus on other things and develop further.

The Legend of the Blue Sea Episode 1

So I do like the idea of Lee Min Ho playing this suave con man. He does have this hot thing that reminds me of the lead guy from The Mentalist TV show in the US. Though I found the lighter thing super far fetched, especially when he breaks the mermaid out of jail.
So really this is a rough introduction and setup, but it's tons of fun! Jeon Ji Hyeon doesn't even say a word the whole episode! Her actions convey everything though and it's truly a testament to her skills that she can do that! I think I might be on my way to become a true fan of hers.
A really great start to this series and I can't wait for it to become even more developed. Though I question that "love song" that states that it is: "My love story." Yikes! That's super tacky. (Oh, and there is no question about that sequin pink dress. It's so bad.) The cinematography is awesome and this is clearly going to be a visual treat. I love the way the mermaids look and appreciate it so much! I like the idea of the con artist and his team. I'm very curious about the rest of them and love the humor they have together. Actually I loved all the humor here. Which is good because I LOVED the humor in You Who Came From the Stars.
Now. Will the other mermaids factor into the story? Oh, and I'd love some more history!
