Good Bye, My Princess features the main male lead as he walks the path into hell. Here, accurately portrayed, as the darkness eats him alive he treats the main female lead worse and worse. Obsessively trapping her and refusing to let her go, even though being with him is crushing her soul.

Lighter and Princess is set in modern times, but it has the life and death drama of a historical/wuxia and features a toxic bad boy. But, unlike Kunning palace, while he rages and is disrespectful to pretty much everyone, he is gentlest with the main female lead, and genuinely sacrifices his goals for her at various points.

If you like domineering CEOs, Sunshine of My Life has one of the better ones. He's competent, self-assured and protective. The romance between the two main characters is similar too, the CEO is colder and more powerful, but the main female lead has her own agency as well.

While both suffer from use of stereotypes and cliches, Sunshine of My Life has excellent coverage of fabric, embroidery, and clothing industries, with lots of interesting clothing designs. This respect for the industry featured puts it above the rest.

Both are about young people who are athletes and start out as friends. Although this one is about wrestling.

Both are mini dramas in which the real world FL transmigrates into a fictional story and must fix the plot to return home. In both, the ML pursues her and she continually keeps pushing him away until she ultimately ends up falling for him.

Very similar storyline with an older boss lady who wants to marry a younger, gentle guy. Many other parts of the story are also the same, though many also different. Destined to Meet You is a minidrama and in the beginning more absurd, but also very funny.

Both movie/drama are about weak high school boys who are bullied and how they start to fight with the bullies and gangsters. It also takes place in 1970s and 80s with retro style and nostalgic vibes.

Both MLs are a supernatural being who is now fallen and stranded on earth, running a business, and ends up involved with the human FL. Both MLs have at least one fellow supernatural being with them who is stranded as well.

Both FLs are human and MLs are a demon who are bound in some way to the FL. In both, there are mysterious crimes taking place.

Both are about reporter. The political ugly truth and dark side of news media. The messy, hyrachy, the struggle of new reporters.

Both are about a deity who comes to earth, first appearing by tumbling into the marriage temple where the other, human lead is. Both are historical and have a similar feel.

Both are movies set in the palace in the same era with a star-crossed love story between a royal and a palace servant that endures many challenges.
