The two seasons are loosely connected with the same FL but different MLs and a completely different plot and tone.

Completely different plot HOWEVER both shows have the same lead actors / couple. Even though the shows are different the interactions between the actors is similar

basically it's the same story. they changed the Dynasty into a Ming-like and instead of the imperial family you have the emperor's brother's family (kind of interesting, we never see a prince in his fiefdom)

MSA is similar to FS because both dramas are about a younger ML and an older FL.

Both are cute and sweet. ML in both dramas do not mind that the FL is older.

Both FL is a little bit iffy with the younger ML but still goes on to have it work out for the both of them.

If you liked one drama, you will also like the other.
