A cute BL drama fantasy that should stay in fantasyland

It was very cute but such relationship wouldn't last/work in reality. Mizuki offering Yoh shelter in the series was a way for Mizuki to indirectly say that he likes Yoh but that's very weird for me.. and Yoh accepting it so easily is like accepting an ice cream from a van that kidnaps children. Continuing on, it seems to me that Yoh moves in eggshells everytime he's around Mizuki, he adjust everything accordingly to what Mizuki likes and it's like a husband(mizuki)/wife(yoh) dynamic in japan where the guys go to work while the girl be a housewife, you know the guys be lazy at home while the girl do everything at home and that dynamic is so icky!! In addition, I think their first time doing "it" was also from Mizuki's liking rather than Yoh, it doesn't look consensual since in later episodes, then Yoh just found out his feelings for Mizuki so they weren't even in a relationship to begin with but rather they we're roommates then(?) but Mizuki gatekeeps Yoh IDK IT'S CONFUSING there were so many miscommunication since they barely talk about their feelings to each other other than talking about food, laundry, cleaning and s*x :/

The actors were all good-looking and very good with their performance and the two leads chemistry is so well!! I wish for them to appear on another drama together cause the chemistry is out of this world, they fit well and I wanna see them in another setting where the story actually matters rather than a lot of fanservice-kind of drama series.

wishing for another season that will help resolve my issues from this!!

Like:
+ Funny
+ Sometimes more serious than expected
+ Great messages in how love works, what's important in life and that everything can be judged from different points of view.
+ Boundaries were respected
+ The friends of both of them are funny and lovely. I loooove Mugi! He's so cute! 😭 And Saku is so cool!

Room for improvement:
- I really find this japanese typical overacting a bit awkward sometimes
- Acting overall was okay, but a bit stiff. So the chemistry was a bit low. Even though Naoyas behavior is really lovely. But because of the not-so-good acting it got a bit lost
- It would have been great if they showed more progress in the relationship (how they come even closer and more comfortable with each other)

Overall I would recommend it, if you're into funny shows. The overacting is definitely a bit uncomfortable, but not so bad that someone couldn't handle it. The story all in all is not soo exciting, but it's still fun to watch. There are definitely minor serious themes and scenes which make the show a bit better, because although it starts with a lot of comedy, it shows the more serious sites behind the Luck/Unlucky stuff and what it means to them in their daily life. This gives the show more depth, which is nice.

Nothing I would rewatch, but I also don't regret spending my time with it.

Hello, I’m At Your Service is a light romantic comedy within customer service work place setting. The drama is full of likable characters and the leading couple, for the most part, has very good chemistry. Although there is a business plot in the drama and it is presented with business related difficulties and antagonists trying to get the business down, the main plot is the leading’s couple relationship. Dong Dong En and Lou Yuan is a very compatible couple in matters of intelligence and wits, but sometimes, the rich guy-poor girl clichΓ© mentality gets in the way of the relationship flow. It doesn’t take long to be resolved but it gets a little bit tiring to think of throwing a working relationship away because of insecurities. Even though at some point it is repetitive, their love for each other is stronger than the supposed impossibilities and they keep working to make their romantic relationship work. Overall, the drama is nice and entertaining for the most part. Enjoy it!

So sweet, so short but so content

It's one of those dramas that you can be satisfied with the ending but would think of the "ifs" if it can continue cause there's still a lot of things that the movie can go from after. overall everything is cute and well done! i don't have hearing impairment so i cant judge how well they portrayed the disability but from a person who doesn't have it, it's very understandable. It is sad but it's not something to be pity about yet society still makes people who have hearing impairment or disability be ashamed of themselves and make things more harder so I'm glad sugihara met sagawa! I wish every people with hearing impairment or disability have someone who will be there for them, treat them the same way as others and understands them the way they want to.

The only problem I have is the unrealistic way of making a connection between the leads, so one of the leads have hearing impairment and it's getting worse but still, the only one he can hear clearly is the other lead which is so stupid and so selective that destiny just made a miracle come true lol

It could've been more, like a season 2 or just another movie that is a continuation of this, I would love to see them explore their relationship and be able to show how relationships works on partners that have hearing impairment especially homosexual relationship will still be an obstacle, I wonder how they will get through and their adultery journey would've been nice to see but it's okay with it cause you can imagine it yourself.

Best korean drama i see for a while

This drama is a drama that I finished in one day without stopping. I watched it over and over because the story is fun and simple, there are no long-winded things and there are not too many episodes so it can be summarized well. the main character is very suitable, I really like the combination of the two of them, this is the first time I have watched a Korean drama without stopping, usually I stop in the middle of the drama because sometimes I don't like the storyline or the storyline is very unrealistic or the characters are too stupid to watch, but for this I really like and am happy because it meets my expectations. If you want to watch a simple drama about rural life and romance that isn't too complicated, this is a very good drama, I highly recommend it.

Overall, I like this drama. I don't understand why many people drop this drama or why they are giving it a bad review. I believe that this drama doesn't deserve such a low rating. The actors and actresses all did a wonderful job and the plot is pretty solid. The ending of the drama was definitely a twist, but it brings the story to a full circle.

It explains the true events of 500 years ago. It also explains the truth behind the Qi family curse. With the truth coming to light, we can see the reasoning behind Yi Mei's actions and Qi Yanran's actions. I'm not making excuses for them since I hated them throughout the entire drama, but it gave me a clear understanding of why they did what they did, especially Qi Yanran. I understand that they explained the twin theory earlier on, but after finding out the truth of the curse, it does explain why there is an "evil" twin and a "good" twin.

My rating of this drama is actually 8/10. I did took two points off for the fact that they killed off so many people towards the end of the drama. I should have expected this, since it is always almost the endings for majority of dramas with this kind of storyline, but I was hoping that they will keep everyone safe and sound. We already knew going in that the battle was long with unforseen dangers, but I was still hanging onto a tiny sliver of hope that everyone will make it alive -- injured, but alive. And yet, there were so many deaths at the end.

A no mercy with something more.

"No Mercy" style revenge film with the great
Lee Si Young. Here the theme is the same, with a somewhat confusing narrative plot. But at a certain point everything is clearly explained to you, a bit of "red light crime", a bit of "rape and revenge", and that's it. Nothing original, but pleasant to follow if you want to spend a couple of hours full of unbridled violence. Usually these films do not shine in artistic details, or excellent interpretations. They focus everything on the bloody scenes and action typical of Hollywood films. The cast knew how to do well what they had to do, performances a little subdued, but in line with the type of film. Both the bad and the good antagonist demonstrated a black and white face to face. Him Kim Ji Hoon who fits in very well in the role of the villain, and her Jeon Jong Seo with that sweet little face, but at the same time ruthless and vindictive. For me it was enjoyable and I would easily watch it again with a few beers and some chips.

It's an incredible drama !!!

A Time Called You is an incredible drama and it is very hard to express it in words, no review can make you feel how good this drama is, you have to watch this drama to feel the emotions. It constantly surprises you and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I tried to predict what would happen, but the story always had unexpected twists. The number of surprises in this drama is thrilling, and I couldn't stop watching it. I binge-watched each episode back-to-back, and it was like a roller coaster ride.

I hadn't seen the Taiwanese version, so the Korean adaptation was entirely new to me. I was so curious about what would happen next, it's a roller coaster of past, present, and the past's future.

Jeon Yeo-been was amazing, playing two look-alike roles, Jun Hui and Min Joo. Her acting was terrific, she literally made me hate one character and love the other character, I literally was annoyed with the same actress when she played Min Joo but loved her when she was playing Jun Hui. Actor Ahn In Syeop was also fantastic, Loved both his characters Yeon Jun and Nam Si Hyeon. I fell in love with his acting. Ahn In Syeop and Rowoon, as Yeon Jun and who made the most of their short screen time. Loved how professional they are, Rowoon's guest appearance was one the best part of the show.

This drama exceeded my expectations. I loved the plot, the cast, the direction, and the cinematography. Although it might seem a bit confusing at first to few people, but as the story progresses, everything becomes clear. I was hooked from the first episode and couldn't sleep until I finished it.

If you haven't seen the Taiwanese version, I highly recommend watching the Korean 'A Time Called You.' It's a captivating, swoonworthy, emotional, in a way mysterious, and thrilling drama that you'll love. It's full of surprises, and you'll fall in love with all the characters (obviously except the villain). It's a must-watch drama!

Frustrating BL story due to so much miscommunication but good chemistry & production

I'm quite ambivalent regarding my appreciation of this drama. I enjoyed the premise of the story...I really liked the submissive and dominant undertones and the imbalance of the relationship. It is not an healthy romance but it is for sure very compelling. However, I was also deeply annoyed by the stupidity of one of the character who is so dense that it gets very quickly ultra frustrating. I can find interesting tropes around miscommunication and I'm usually pretty receptive to jealousy plot but here I was really not convinced.

I still enjoyed the series thanks mainly to the impressive performance of Higuchi Kouhei. He was the highlight of the show for me: each of his scenes were really believable, even when the scenario was at his lowest. Mashiko Atsuki was okay but not at the same level in terms of acting skills but to be fair, he played also the most frustrating character. Nevertheless, the chemistry between the two main actors was great overall and the sexy scenes were really super hot.

The quality of the production and making was pretty good with some lovely opening and ending sequences supported by a nice soundtrack. It was pop and romantic and I never skipped it.

I would recommend this to people that are looking for a BL series with cohabitation trope as well as lot of sexy moments and who do not mind toxicity / red flags in the romance. If you really dislike miscommunication issue and/or really dumb/dense hero(ine), you might get very frustrated as well but as it is very short and supported by good performance, I still think its entertaining qualities outweighs its flaws.

a love that is gentle, light, and warm

the plot itself has been very risky for the viewers but i loved how it was executed well. the phasing is great, you can see how their relationship evolved thru time. every kind of relationship portrayed in this series was very healthy. from parents, siblings, friends, partner. duan jiaxu & sang zhi are the standard, definitely my ideal type for a partner. djx had a hard time in life but he never projected his anger nor had a negative trauma response on zhi. i love this show. highly recommended. someday, i hope i will experience a kind of love like them.

A straight romance drama in disguise

loved the cast performance and quality of the series but the whole story makes you ask whats the purpose of this series? somethings were also problematic but presented as something nice. it's a straight romance drama in disguise of a bl, you think a drama talking about the BL community and gay community will at least present the gay community well but let me tell you it is not!! although its relatable on some degree, i don't think its good to recommend on people who wants to understand LGBTQ+.

Let me tell you about the problematics
1. A MARRIED GUY WITH A STUDENT - it was consensual and was portrayed actually well, like it's an intimate relationship but how the hell is this right? why is everyone ignoring this and thinking its good!? if I were married, I wouldn't wanna know my husband sleeps with someone else.. also they didn't tell the wife(?) the wife doesn't know about him literally cheating, their relationship is already dead for me, he might want to save his wife from drowning but I hope he dies in that process so I can rest in peace knowing his wife isn't with a bastard.
2. PEDOPHILE- oh my god also this!! fahrenheit is a 15 years old KID, I dont remember how old the person he was seeing but he's obviously not in the age to actually be in one, especially with the freaking big age gap! He might have fallen in love but he's obviously too young for it.. which also explains the immaturity that the kid followed the predator to his death bed and committed unaliving themselves..
3. Message & Presentation to gay people - it was clear that our protagonist is gay but is in-denial and started being a horrible character. On episode 7, they had to seriously make them kiss!? I thought he was gay.. the cheers seriously gave me deja vu of people making those loud noises on proposals so I was like, whats happening? I thought after he was outed, he would be confident and break-up with the girl, cause that girl was obviously hurting but ofcourse he didnt but the girl broke-up with him in the end which if that didn't happen, they would still be together.. every episode just made him less gay more bi when the series is literally about a gay person.. Also the no1 and no2 are gay relationships which are not a good presentation on gay relationships at all..

it seems to me the director tried to create something that gay people can relate to without actually talking to one or even meeting gay people that are in GOOD & HEALTHY relationships not something illegal.

Lust after thy neighbour

This may have begun on TikTok but its transition to YouTube has changed the format to full-screen 30 minute episodes so there will be 6 episodes. That said, it's a welcome change from most Philippino BL series with a thankfully much reduced cast of essential characters, the main ones being 18yo Charlie who is captivated by his new handsome, older and mysterious neighbour, Mico, who we often see topless and he has a great smile. The series revolves around Charlie trying to involve Mico in his life, an endeavour encouraged by his unusually gay supportive father. I have no complaints about the sound, dialogue, acting and production values. A very likeable series and should be on your watch list.

Sweet Love in spite of Tragedies

Well... First of all this drama was made 3 years ago and an A class budget drama. So considering these, its already outstanding, specifically in melodrama genre.

Indeed the plot full of angst and villains who cause the angst. But, again, isnt it a what a melodrama should be?

So if our expectation is a romcom, this one indeed not the one. Its a melodrama in classic and maximum version πŸ˜‚

The plot was cliche, conflict and power struggle around rich families which we are all may have watched a lot before.

But still there are some points where SWK excelled :
- whenever MLFL get together, its very sweet and adorable. They are cute like teenagers who fall in love for the first time 😝
- a series of unfortunate events indeed happen in reality too, thats why we still able to get lots of life lessons from enduring Yun Shen and Xu Jiu.

Even from villains, because SWK very clear with what their background and motives in doing evil deeds.

- the OST are very very beautiful, kdrama vibe

Actually all the snows, ost, and environment all feel like in kdrama, even the plot also like in kdrama (a few years ago trend).

- acting quality is no joke, CY really portray despair and sad feeling like no one else. Ppl said there is brokeness feeling in his acting that we rarely found anywhere else. XYZ also act very well here, their chemistry feel natural and sweet.

Conclusion :
So if you are melodrama lovers and appreciate + enjoy acting skill (love to immerse on feeling of the leads) more than plot, i would say SWK is perfect for you.

But if you expect romcom and also demand unique plot, then just watch the sweet moments between MLFL, surely you will still able to smile alot looking at them, its very rare adult romance can be as cute and adorable as their romance and certainly you will not want to miss it πŸ˜‰
