The most satisfying ending

The winner deserved it hands down.
Ha seok jin, the problematic man, the awesome actor, the beautiful smart man inside-out. I went into this just for him and man, did he rose all up and above.
I saw him first in his drama, drinking solo and then followed all his dramas, very few variety appearances and of course problematic man. But here, he was the star. He understood the games, showed composure, had no nonsense friends and team, spoke out when it was needed and above all his comradery with see won, OMG!!! I was rooting for both them as I would for any K-drama leads. they were amazing and adorable.
Also hats off to Production team for planning it beautifully and not stretching it more than needed and also for slight twists and turns. everything was well executed.
Honorable mentions to Gulli, he was the brains, see won for her tenacity, dong jae for his approach and boo seungkwan because he is Seventeen and sweet.

The Eight Sense is a strong 9+

South Korean BL shows have been impressive lately, and 'The Eighth Sense' is no exception. It excels at delivering emotion and depth that sets it apart from the rest. Im Ji Sub (Seo Jae Won) and Oh Jun Tae (Kim Ji Hyun) make a stunning on-screen couple, exuding a natural chemistry that's truly captivating.

What sets this series apart is its exceptional storytelling. The romance unfolds organically, without any forced elements. In addition, 'The Eighth Sense' sensitively highlights the importance of mental health, which is seamlessly woven into the narrative. Credit goes to Inu Baek, one of the creators, whose track record includes such notable works as 'To My Star' and 'Where Your Eyes Linger'. His talent for creating compelling love stories shines through.

Overall, 'The Eighth Sense' is a masterfully crafted show that's a must-see for BL drama enthusiasts, and even rivals 'Semantic Error' for the title of best Korean BL drama in recent memory.

A cute, romantic and light series, therefore pleasant entertainment!

I really like Miles Wei and I was looking for a light and fairly short series (between 2 more serious or tragic dramas). It did not disappoint me.

PLOT: Meeting, partnership, friendship then love, between 1 FL working in a communication start-up and the ML, CEO of a large group. They will gradually overcome many obstacles together: rather unfair competition from business competitors, betrayal of trusted employees, rivals in love, differences in status, etc.

PROS:
+ Excellent casting for all characters, including secondary ones. They are well developed and very endearing (the solid team of co-workers, the ML's very colorful mother, the FL's parents, the best friend, etc.)
+ Viewers will be happy to see a very cute CL with Miles Wei in the role of the devoted boyfriend. They both develop a good chemistry and there are a lot of intimate moments :)
+ 2ary romances are well developed and not stereotypical (and they don't always end well, like in real life).
+ There is no Great Villain for the sake of being bad. The characters act quite logically, based on their own personalities and interests.
+ The production is lively, without length, and the duration of the drama is well adjusted.
+ The OSTs are very enjoyable.

CONS:
- certain problems which drag on for several episodes are resolved very (VERY) quickly.
- the "all's well that ends well" and the forgiveness towards all those who have betrayed, behaved badly, ... annoys me a little. We often watch this in dramas (with the ultimate repentance of the Great Villains) and, if this puts an end to all the problems mentioned, it is ABSOLUTELY NOT realistic.

=> A pleasant entertainment, short and heartwarming.

Fun Comedy Showing How the Yakuza Are Truly Just Thuggish Fools!

This was a very famous movie in Japan in 1992 because the Yakuza were so pissed about being portrayed as bullies and fools that a couple of them stabbed the director 3 days after the movie's release. He survived and wore his scars as a badge of honor. The idiot Yakuza thugs did not get that stabbing a director would inadvertently create media attention to make the movie 10x's more popular. In short, it became a hit! The stabbing also caused a public uproar that resulted in the law enforcement coming down harder on the Yakuza at the time.

As for the movie itself, it's a comedy, so the portrayal of the Yukuza's menace is handled lightly. But beneath that it's also an interesting expose on how the Yakuza truly were blackmailing and extorting regular citizens in the 90's because the law had cracked down on gambling, drugs and prostitution, leaving the Yakuza with few ways to earn other than by extorting regular people and their businesses.

The movie portrays this by showing how the Yakuza are extorting and blackmailing one particular hotel, and how one delightfully brave woman lawyer beats them. The actress playing the lawyer puts in a terrific performance as a smart, funny, sarcastic person who is, at the beginning, the only one brave enough to face down the Yakuza. The Yakuza are appalled that a "little lady" can dare be so fearless! Their sexism is hilarious.

She plays her role with a lot of charm, humor and wit and really makes the movie. The actors portraying the hotel staff also do a great job as bumbling men who are, at first, afraid of the Yakuza, but soon grow brave under the lawyer's tutelage. In all, it's a fun little comedy that also gives insight on how the Yakuza truly were behaving at the time.

Time travel dream

First of all this is a love story without any sidekicks, second plot lines or any family related hiccups in between. I don't know why it has such miniest of the minis 4 minute long episodes when it could have been a 90min long movie instead.

Being a sucker for time travel stories I have watched it. It has horrible subtitles on YouTube. Like really really bad making it a difficult watch. Felt like watching an edited drama episode highlights without context. That high school name Popup was another eye sore.

After watching When I fly towards you, this feels like an extension of sma show probably because of same FL.

The winner REALLY deserved it all.

I loooove every bits of this show. The games, the participants, the drama...

The games was good overall. It's actually a simple games, most of it from board games I'm pretty sure we all played it before like Monopoly, Tic Tac Toe, Scrabble, Tangram, Gomoku, etc... but with upgraded rules that sometimes very difficult to understand and made my head dizzy when I try to follow 🤣 Well, sometimes it's indeed very stressful (I recalled myself crying out loud when Dongjae eliminated because of the nasty betrayal), but it's also fun, thrilling, and exciting.

But most of all, I'm very, VERY happy with the way this survival ends.

Ha Seokjin deserved it all. He's the most calm & collected since episode 1, a great strategist, and his tenacity just... wow. I knew him since Problematic Men era, I knew he's a great opponent everyone should watch for; but I didn't expect he'll be THAT GOOD. Every single episode he played every game skillfully, with everything he's got. It's truly mindblowing to watch (yes, I'm referring to his grande plan in episode 9 OMG how can he calculated all that???)

And I believe he's the only one who understood the rules of this survival game perfectly. I really like his statement (angry statement, if I may add) after Dongjae eliminated, "I want to see a skill-based elimination."

Indeed, because up to that episode, all I see was Orbit trying to save everyone—even the one who did not deserve to be saved. Alliances is needed, yes, but I don't think that was what Orbit did; he acted like a peacemaker but actually he's more like a dictator, giving instructions to everyone who followed him.

Not hating on him though, I'm trying to understand the way he think but obviously... trying to save everyone while you're in a survival show is kinda nonsense. The one with mind games and all, to be exact. It's a good act, but it's not for this show. Well, if that was actually his strategy to make all those people followed him and using them as a jumping stone to be in the finale... wow, he's good y'all 😂

This was the great drama to add, and because of that I fall more deeper to Ha Seokjin's charm. I'm rooting for him since episode 1 and very happy when he wins. All in all, watching this show was like my personal journey as Ha Seokjin fans; I'm happy to realize he's that smart, kind, and humble as a person, and I'm just happy so many people find out about him as an actor (well, and youtuber) through this show. Hopefully he gain some fans (I really want to gatekeeping him though HAHA) and be more successful in the future. Respect to all participants, I really enjoyed their friendship, and their betrayal 🤣🤣 Also, kudos to the great crew behind this show!

Season 2, please?

TWO LOVE STORIES

So the drama started strong with a beautiful FL and a gorgeous ML. The FL strong and independent a beauty blogger with power seemd to me only until she met the ML again that's when her character started to shift. She became like a little girls too clingy i know she just wanted to make him fall inlove but really that's how you do it?! Acting like a high-school girl even though like she is 26. Not my cup of tea.
He did eventually fell in love with her but that was a long and tiresome journey didn't actually feel like she fell for him only him for her.

I planed to write a long review but i don't think it's needed 😕 just wach it if you want to have fun their love story had depth only form his side in my opinion only he grew she stayed the same. Too childish was her character.

On the other hand the SFL and SML their story was really amazing they did show love and they grew in their relationship it was heartwarming to see them together.

Just an awful series!

To be honest, this was one of the most exasperating series I have ever watched. In a few instances I found myself getting so angry with Minato that if I were literally his friend in real life, I would have told him that his behavior towards Shin is tantamount to emotional abuse if not neglect. He is an awful character and frankly does not deserve the adulation that Shin heaps on him daily. Shin is the worst kind of fool as he cannot ‘see’ (does not want to see) how toxic Minato really is. One day, he will wake up and realize that he is. That will be a sad day. There is no point in rehashing the story. Very little has changed from Season One. Although Minato and Shin are in a ‘relationship’, perhaps on an intellectual basis, there is little on an emotional one and nothing on a physical level. To have one on an emotional one, you NEED two people and a willingness to commit. Ditto for a physical one.
I hated this series and detested what messages they leave behind, trying somehow to make toxicity entertaining. I simply did not find this series even remotely amusing.

"And the winner is... " -> watch Arthdal Chronicles 2: The Sword of Aramun

Two tribes live in a mythical land called Arth; the red-blooded humans who can't dream and the blue-blooded humanoids who can dream, and who are also faster and stronger than humans. A war for resources breaks out between the two and the humans end up winning the war through some trickery. Years later, the struggles and greed of power continues...

This drama is unique, it brings you to the bronze age. There's a lot of knowledge on anthropology, evolutionary biology, politics, civilization stages, farming, domestication, religion/mysticism. More than just entertainment, they kept me occupied intellectually. I appreciate them to realize this daring concept into a drama. The story itself is using the common fantasy trope; like a prophecy, a mysterious barrier between two tribes, and it's very plot-driven.

The characters are a lot of fun, especially Tagon, the human leader, he's morally ambiguous and dignified, at the same time he hides a dark secret which is a real high stake. I have to say his younger self gave me chills more than the adult version, he had a very cool charisma; great job Moon Woojin, I always admire you, also in It's Okay to Not be Okay, The Devil Judge, yeah). This is also my only favorite Song Jong Ki drama so far, he's magical in his dual twin roles, together with the irreplaceable Kim Ji Won. There's a lot to enjoy within their relationships and dynamics.

Overall, I think it's a really darn good fantasy. I wanted to know more, the characters surprisingly got stuck with me personally, like I think about them when i'm not watching. The first season is laying a wonderful groundwork for the 2nd season.

A jam packed series

This series had SO MANY plot lines, it's amazing they fit everything in! It also tricks you into thinking, oh it's all good, it's happy times, near the end, but then you see there are still 5 and then 2 episodes left and you can't hope for a nice happy ending.

I strongly suggest watching this, but be prepared for mortal realm story but also other story lines. When you think it's over, it's not. It's a complex story that somehow managed to pack it all in. Ultimately it was satisfying, but there are bits in the middle you could fast forward maybe (I didn't). I was hooked.

Be prepared with TISSUES, because the latter part of the series did kinda break my heart a little.

But the first parts and middle part was just being funny, sometimes late, but still enjoyable!

But would I put this on the scale of the top tier Cdrama series such as TMOPB, IS, LBFAD, AOL, TTEOTM? Not that high, but still pretty good!

Spoilers to come below:
That ending?
JUST ONE MORE SCENE with them reunited with their husbands, even with 10 years later, would have wrapped this up as nicely as I wanted. Like it would have been literally 20 more seconds, why they didn't do this is freaking ridiculous. There's some rumours I read that they may have filmed it but didn't make the cut?? Or for specials, which DO NOT SEEM TO BE AROUND?? We get a nice ending for Zuwei and the Beast Prince even!

The OST could have been a bit better - it seemed a bit rough around the edges, but there were some good tracks.

As per usual, I love the main couple Tan Er and You Qing, especially the ML's superb acting as the cold, emotion-free immortal, and then the 3 different soul shards he played, to then become the fifth final version of himself that is Tan Er's true love and protector. He really, really grew on me. Despite his deep scary villain voice, he got me good.

I have to shout out also to the sisterly love with Tan Er and Kui Er, because it could have been they hated each other, but no they loved each other, supported each other and I got chills when they reunited after being separated. I loved it.

I did love the third Void Prince and Kui's story line two as they were sweet.

I cried over Man Man... it literally broke my heart

Almost all the support/minor characters were utilised in a meaningful way and were memorable. I did love the mortal father and later development relationship

I have adequate hatred for the father Emperor and his selfish desire and narrow minded way of protecting the four realms.

I won't mourn this series but may still feel a void - I suspect because it was very strongly suggesting a NOT OPEN-ENDED ending, so I am satisfied.

Korean's dramas always based on imagination

A girl who touches the dead body ,the deady body get alive for few minutes before their final depart. So she started asking their last wish as she completed their wishes their soul left the place peaceful .
I liked the father - son story ,then pregnant lady story .
Male lead brother's dead was a mystery and female lead father's dead was an accident and these two stories were also connected me a lot.
Story didn't get bored so they add love story . Chemistry between the leads was amazing.
I liked the drama.

Unbelievable changing

Unbelievable that this drama came to point of changing an actor - he will be missed cause I felt he fit his character amazing acting with excellent skills - wishing him the best and hope to see him within another drama soon. Most of all this drama caught my attention because of the male and female lead - it was a soap opera that went wrong with so much laughter to the characters within the storytelling - a must watch drama in hope within the next episodes to come. This drama has a lot tell and show - child actress acting is beautiful done❤️❤️ .

The short drama about 10-15 min each ep & that's the first part of the story. The MV is about 5 min each song & you can say the continuity of the short drama. Each drama are the story of its own without having connections with each other.

Of course cause this just mv and short drama, unfortunately not all of the story is completed, some still hanging in the air waiting for anybody to continue their story. But fortunately the ending i can't say pissed me off, it just unfinished but not too cliffhanger, in the end the open ending i can still accept....

For you who want to know what each story about I gonna write a little bit introduction without spolier.
Film 1: This about a boy who fall in love with a popular girl in the school & a little bit stalk her in social media. Their relationship start when the girl need help to fix her computer & only continue online. This one story that i really hope I can watch full lenght, cause I want to know the continuity of their story.

Film 2: This about a girl that break up with her BF & try find new love via dating apps. The story tell us many bad people that we might meet in online dating, but in the end our girl find her man & start dating.

Film 3: This about friendship that start from online games to real world, even start having feeling for each other. One day the boy decided to give the girl surprise by show up unannounced & he got himself surprised about the girl condition. This also about the journey how not all online friendships is trash & unreliable.

Film 4: Hope I'm not too wrong, cause the 4th one is unsub. This about a man that fall in love with the girl that he delivered food to. And how they start having friendship from that day.

Film 5: This about a girl that comes to different city to find work & fight the loneliness it bring. I have a little problem with how the girl fight the loneliness at first, cause it can go to very wrong place. But fortunately for this girl every thing turn out to be good & she land on the beautiful side of the rainbow...

Well that's it every thing i can spoil about this drama. Hope I don't spoil too much...
