Gangs of Gangnam
내 연기는 존나 잘해. Ji chang wook is so real for this role & dialogue, that eyebrow raise & sharp dialogue delivery while fight scenes being ? . It's like watching WWE Royal Rumble - EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF. Intense opening scene, bloody fights, lots of smoking, swearing & 90's era setting is done aptly. Brownie points for casting absolute doppelgangers as younger #LimSeMi #WiHaJun in episode 3.Fast paced thriller it is but was bit predictable so far. Moving is replaced by equally intense drama by Disney plus. INSANELY GOOD SHOW!!!

------------------------------------------------------ENDING SPOILER -------------------------------------------------
ENDING SPOILER :-
After completing the drama everyone's question is
1) Why did Joon Mo kill Ki-chul ? ?
From What I understood is...
" Jung Ki-chul's suicide is a curse aimed especially at Yoo Eui-jung.He is a man who has liked her since childhood. He's a man who tried to get out of the dark for himself. The guilt of driving such a man to death can last a lifetime to Eui Jung. Park Jun-mo shot Ki-chul because he wanted to free his wife Yoo Eui-jung at least by taking responsibility for Jung Ki-chul's death alone.
2) Did Park Joon Mo Yu Eui-jung broken up ??
In the last scene Joon Mo visits Jung Ki Chul's grave, he left his wedding ring, hinting that he and his wife had broken up. At same time we can watch the chain of Eui Jung ( Ki-chul gave her to in their teenage) on Ki-chul's grave it means she ends Ki-chul's love there , this the chance for their new life. Hope they will meet again after sometime and start new life.

absolutely needed better writing (watch suggestions)
Overall: I enjoy a series with a different premise, but unfortunately the writing/world building/pacing did not work for me. 12 episodes about 50 minutes each. Aired on iQIYI. Re-aired on Studio Wabi Sabi YouTube channel.Content Warnings: past death/grief, dub/non con touching, 10 year age gap with a highschooler*, manipulation
Watch suggestions: unless you enjoy very slow pacing, characters doing nonsense things, a bunch of crying and untold flashbacks here is my suggestion
1. Watch episode 1, at the end tell yourself that Ongsa died
2. pretend that Suansoon goes back in time and tries different things like having Ongsa avoid that location/day/time but none of them work, so then he tells Ongsa to not meet him at the movie theater
3. Ongsa ignores him, watch episode 7 (basically a retelling of episode 1 from Ongsa's perspective)
4. watch episode 8 where Ongsa learns the only thing to do is for them never to meet when in high school
5. Ongsa time jumps to the present, start watching episode 11 at 19 minutes (although there is a cute high school moment at the very beginning of episode 11)
6. Watch episode 12
What I Liked
- mysterious vibe/present
- how what happened in the first episode related to later episodes
- sweet moments
- Karn (Dear Doctor I'm Coming For Soul) in ep 12
Room For Improvement
- character actions didn't make sense, if Ongsa had actually died and then Suansoon went back and told Ongsa not to drive that day and he didn't but still died and we see Ongsa repeatedly going back trying to change things that would be interesting (like The Butterfly Effect) however Ongsa wasn't even dead and instead of being by his partner's side Suansoon started a romantic relationship with high school Ongsa in the past...
- *age gaps generally don't bother me but the adult Suansoon actor is 36 and he looked like it, past Ongsa is in high school (actor is 25 but looks much younger), it was very uncomfortable to see the adult Suansoon in a romantic relationship with a teenaged Ongsa (who didn't even know that they end up together for quite some time), and Suansoon touching Ongsa when he was sleeping was not romantic but came across as creepy, in general they should have shortened this time and focused more on young Ongsa/Suansoon and older Ongsa/Suansoon
- nonsense stuff, how did no one say anything about a highschooler romancing an almost 30 year old??? why wouldn't in the present Suansoon call Onga's parents/go to their house/look on social media/talk to mutual friends/do an internet search/hire a private investigator/hang up fliers/go to their old hangouts....he just cried
- slow pacing, there was a lot of hanging out in a coffee shop and crying
- a bunch of flashbacks
- really poor world building and a ton of "because the writer said so"

Not surprised
This is annoying how can you as a judge say a group lost because there performance was too much like wtf does that mean this is a dance competition and they are there to win of course they practiced hard but saying they lost when clearly they did so much better and your reason is “performance was too much” huhWas this review helpful to you?
After 7 years, my soul has been satisfied
At first, I did not want to watch it. I was too loyal to the original cast and to the first series. My good friend encourage me to give it a chance. So I watched the first 3 episodes. I was expecting the same plot as to the first series. It discourages me. Then again, my good friend told me to watch it without comparison with the first series. I gave it another try. Though names, some characters, some plot were changed, some parts were able to follow the book. I started to enjoy. I was only able to finish it for 2 days. It satisfies my soul after 7 years of waiting, finally, they were able to finish the 1st book. I have been wanting it for a long time. The best scene for me was Ep. 22 at 22:22, to those who read the book, we all know how important this scene is. It made me emotional coz finally, we have the photo we have been wanting for the whole time. As for the story, YES, it was a bit different from the book, but I guess they have been trying their best to copy what's in the book to avoid it from being banned. For those people who has been saying this is not BL only bromance, for me it is a complete BL. I am looking forward to Book 2 of this. I hope it will be soon. <3Was this review helpful to you?

Beautiful and Twisted Take on Alice in Wonderland
The casting for this film was definitely perfect, and they each performed their roles too well. The music, visuals and acting was stunning. It's a very beautifully shot film, and there was a lot of keen eyes for details. This is one of those types of films you /really/ have to pay attention to to understand the progressing story. It's not too fast or too slow paced, by at least 20 minutes into the film you're already in another world, but there are a lot of hints to look out for, especially of how the movie was put together. The movie starts off a bit tense, but the phycological horror aspect catches up quick before you even realize. It was my first time watching Hong Jong Hyun in a movie, and he was soo adorable as Hwan! Overall, this movie stays as one of my /weirdly/ comfort movies... and I've already watched it 3 times. Definitely high rewatch value for a stunning film. Was this review helpful to you?

I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS ONE
Just finished it, this is a solid 10 out if 10, I absolutely like every part of this drama from the plot to the characters to the pace of the story, everything was incredible. One of few dramas that are executed well regarding every aspects of the things that are involved.
I 100% see my self rewatching it in the future. if u are into a wuxia genre dramas, I absolutely recommend this!
There might be some minor inconveniences along the way but its better to ignore those since there is no such thing as a perfect work. It might not be tooo good to some people due to those however it's still decent even if i try to be picky.
