It's a wonder that this drama could last so many episodes without a real storyline, no character development, no substantial, meaningful conflict. This is a pure commercial, fan service drama made to accentuate Yang Yang's face and Zheng Shuang's beauty. There's no real character development as both leads start off as perfect people. The male lead is rank 1 for a popular computer game, comp-sci genius, good looking, rich, a nice, well mannered guy. The girl is the prettiest girl in her major, also comp-sci. She's *gasp* so special because she's the only girl on the top ten ranking of the same game. While a lot of this drama takes place in their gaming world, there is absolutely no realism to their gaming lives. The writer didn't bother to even touch upon the effort it takes to reach a top rank in popular computer games. The whole drama is these two people leading perfect lives.

A green flag drama that's so nice it's sometimes boring

I've watched this drama and while I really like how wholesome it felt I'm not sure if I really like it so much.

It's great to finally see a Chinese drama where villain characters are normal, not obsessive and even show some inner growth. Total green flags.

I loved how groups of friends were portrayed. It was really nice to watch their playful banter.

At the same time the banter between the leads didn't feel half as good. I don't know if it was because of the translation but their dialogue felt quite stiff. It was difficult to see when they (supposedly) build their deep and trustful relationship. It was never showed how their connected as an adult couple (not students that are just going out). So it felt as if it's enough to spend a lot of time together to be a great couple;)

Also there were some moments when ML felt more like a stalker than a love intrest (the FL gets to know him in 9th episode). Side character KO felt creepy through the whole drama (was it supposed to be hinting some romantic interest with another guy?).

My main problem with this drama is that ML was just too great. He was great at everything and with everybody. There was not a problem he couldn't predicted and solve before the problem itself was even revealed to the audience. In the end it was somewhat boring. On the other hand, FL (who was supposed to be his female counterpart) wasn't given any challenge to show off her skills. In the end she was reduced to ordering food and playing the online game according to his instructions.

All in all, it was a good, nice watch. Although I would enjoy it more if the FL was portrayed more lively and with more occasion to show her wit.

Its not a heavy drama and i'm glad that the conflict is not between them but between their friends.I love how they keep their relationship strong despite all the challenges and all the temptation.I like how Yang Yang portrayed his role well, how his character love Bei Wei Wei so much.usually i'm having a hard time watching long dramas but for this I did not sleep for 2 straight days just to finished it. I also love the supporting characters specially Wei Wei's dorm mates and Xiao Nai's dorm mates.I totally love the loyalty of their friends, this is a light drama that made your heart flutters.I really love it.

This drama is one of the best romance drama that i watched. The scenes with Xiao Nai and Bei Wei Wei is really worth to watch and it is really so sweet but at the same time i think you would not know what would Xiao Nai do but this is my opinion.  Every thing is good but i wish there were more seasons cause i want to see what happens after they ( If i say this i am going to spoil for the people who did not watch this so i am not going to say, but the ones who watch it try to guess what i am trying to say.  Hint: This happens at the end!). It is really interesting and if you love romance, drama and something to do with technology or gaming then this drama is just right for you. So if you are interesting in watching i hope you enjoy it and have fun with it.

Refreshing and makes you smile!

First off, if you want reality you won’t find much of it here. This drama is where I discovered Yang Yang. For me he is truly the glue in this series. His sly, cute smile; his dry sense of humor (makes you have to think about it before you get it); his vulnerability about dating, all serve to make him a genuinely NICE GUY! The actress playing Wei Wei was beautiful but much too wooden, very stiff and awkward, especially in kissing scenes. Even to the very end she kept her eyes open, almost like she was thinking “can we get this over with, please?”. And she seemed to be unhealthily thin. Wei Wei’s roommates were cool. Erxi was a bit too over-the-top in the cutesie department but she was a real friend to Wei Wei.. I really enjoyed Xaio Nai’s roommates. They were such a hoot in the game and in reality. I also liked the actor who player Cao Guang (Foreign language genius). All in all this definitely was more fantasy than reality, tho. The story of their computer programming company was very interesting for me, especially the intricacies they displayed. This is a very rewatchable drama and one of the few I actually bought! 9.5 only because of the stiffness of the actress who played Wei Wei. Music I found enjoyable, too

I only watched it coz i saw the previews and im not really into the chinese drama coz they don't flow and theres too much commercial music. So anyways it was actually pretty good. Xiao nai was the heart throb and bei wei wei was a really great girl. Now im just gonna judge them
Xiao nai - good looks but hes too stiff
Bei wei wei - pretty girl but her kissing was really dull. She never parted her lips at all  or engage or reciprocate.
XO - who cast this dude in this show. He was worse than a robot. He had no expressions he had lije 2 lines a scene. He never looked ahead he was always absent but present. Hes so beige. Even the camera guy tried to get an emotion out of him but he was useless.
Er xi - she was the bubble in the group. Cute and bubbly
The rest of the cast was good but the ending is till not fulfilled though we can guess.  Some unanswered questions. The episodes went so fast and problems were solved quick. Another thing, why did they recycle their clothes. They wore same outfit over and over. Anyways there's alot of video game references.

Simply Amazing...

I first watched the Movie starring Angelababy and Jing Boran. I fell in love with the story. Then I saw there is a drama version which is with YangYang and Sheng Zhuang, and I gave it a try. I already know story so far but want to see how they excuted the drama version.

It's a very cute, sweet, not so complicated which is what I like. It's refreshing. It's a light story that will give you butterflies in your stomach.

The drama showed more scenes of how XiaoNai secretly showed his affection to WeiWei. Kinda stalkerish but it's not creepy.

I like how they met in a game, WeiWei despite being a girl can compete with male online players.

She's not just a beauty but is also smart like XiaoNai.

It's simply perfect. Plus , Yang Yang is worth drooling for.

I suck at writing reviews and this is purely for my own enjoyment; read at your own risk lol

This is one of the first chinese dramas I watched.

I personally do enjoy the plot and characters, though some of it is also partly nostalgia and just the over-all vibes (if that makes sense).

The phasing is neither too fast or slow, and I quite like how it doesn't only take place in university, but continues a little bit after.

I think the casting is pretty well done, though sometimes I find the chemistry between the main couple a little bit awkward....it feels like the roomates to Xiao Nai (Yang Yang) have more chemistry. But maybe that's just me. Other than that, I do think the the main cast is also well done, and the acting in general is okay.

The overall production and visual effects are also pretty good; quite impressed with the costumes and make-up. Though I do sometimes question Bei Weiwei's (Zheng Shuan) everyday clothes...

However much I like the drama, it does feel like it falls a little short when it comes to the overall plot and character development. So even though I like rewatching it, mostly for the vibe and nostalgia, it isn't super amazing or good.
Though it is pretty iconic for its time, as well as the OST.

I admit when I first read the synopsis for this show, I wasn't sure if I would like it. I didn't know how the gaming world and the real world would link in. I will happily say that I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the main leads, though at times I did find their kissing scenes a little awkward to watch. I don't if that was how the character is meant to be portrayed during the intimate parts or if that was the actress herself.
However I still thoroughly enjoyed the show, it was the first Asian drama that I couldn't stop watching. I had to force myself to stop so I could go to bed, ready for work the next day and as soon as I got home, it was on as soon as possible.
I have rewatched this show several times since then too.

Good drama for who search simple and fun drama.

— This drama was simple (does not have a complicated story line) and I'm learned something from here although simple (does not have a complicated story line). Two things I'm learned is if we do something serious, and fight in one thing, we can reach that and Nothing impossible when we try make it real (not just in relationship but in another things too) and not just one times but can be two and three times.

— For fun, because at some people maybe not too much because some scene in that drama not happened in real life.

But if you know, I'm already meet the couple who they meet from game, marriage in game but continue in real life until marriage in real life too. So, soulmate will not go anywhere, can come from anywhere and that realistic for me.

Thats what I'm get.
Sorry for bad grammar in english.

I really liked how simple this drama was. There was just a hint of scheming which made the plot even more interesting. I liked how cute the couple was. Their chemistry as a university couple was pretty spot on. I really thought I would not like this but the simplicity in this drama really surprised me in a positive way. It was awkward when it came to the kisses but I sat it through. It was a really sweet drama that was really refreshing from others.

LOVE 020

One of the best drama i have ever gone through . Yang yang & Zheng shuan just rocked it . The story line was absolutelty unique and worth to watch . It depicts a clear image of friendshp , love and appreciation. As am having second lead syndrome so obviously i liked the second couple too. If you are a college student they you should definetly try this drama and its appropriate for begginers also . The chemistry between yang yang and zheng shuan .....omg !!! It was damn ! I should rather say that its the best way to drive out our frustration. I was overwhelmed by yang yang's looks and the way he deals with everything especially when he answers someone . He is so breath taking that i cannot take my eyes off him . Like wise , i was mesmerised by zheng shuan's beauty also . In one word this drama is " exquisite" !
