This was so disappointing to me
Sung Hoon is so handsome, but has absolutely no expression in his face for most of the series. He's overbearing and bossy and I'm really not sure what made her fall in love with him. The progression of their relationship didn't make any sense to me. I kept waiting for him to become more comfortable in the role he was playing; however, that didn't happen. I've watched this series twice, hoping that I missed something the first time around. I didn't, unfortunately. Rushed ending. Kissing scenes? Like fish, very unnatural. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama is a MUST WATCH for hardcore romantics. I happen to like Kdrama romance but this one has SO much of it that I wanted them to stop. They honestly include all romance cliches possible in the story and to just keep entertaining you episode after episode. The main couple were cute as hell.
Jaekyung is so pretty I could keep staring at her forever. I don't blame the guy for falling heads over heels for her. I also liked his brother and wish he gets his own spin off because he was so cute. Plus, the little animals featured in the show are also a treat to watch.
The soundtrack isn't the best because it doesn't even require one. Anyway, I highly recommend this drama to everyone because it a short, harmless piece of fun and you'll come out thoroughly entertained. Enough said. Go and watch it NOW.

the comedy was spot on. Sung Hoon was a lot funnier than i remember him being. he's usually a middling actor for me but i thought he did really well in this show. his timing and facial expressions were much improved over his earlier work, most of which was heavy draw out makjang. in fact, this show is great for Sung Hoon fans who cant deal with makjang. you get to fan girl without sacrificing 100 hours of your life.
this was my first time seeing kim jae kyung. she did a great job. i liked her, she played her character well and she's gorgeous and hilarious.
BUT the reason this show gets an 8 instead of a 10 is that it really felt like our leads were in different relationships, if not on different shows. Jae Kyung never seemed to be able to match Sung Hoon's level of emotion or interest when the script so clearly called for it. it was like listening to a duet with one singer belting it out as if as the feels would split his soul if they didn't get out and then the other is drunk at a norrebang.
unfortunately alot of the other actors performances felt that way as well. maybe it was the limited screen time, maybe it was the writing, maybe the actors just didn't feel like belting it out for what was certainly a minor role. but i've seen actors do more with less, so i'm counting it against them.
the music felt like an after thought and i wouldn't remember any of it if i heard it again, except for one song. i think it's american and every so often the 1st few bars would play and annoy me because i cant for the life of me remember the name of the song or even how it goes.
rewatch value is a little iffy, i guess it depends on if you like to rewatch and why you do. i could certainyl see myself rewatching this at some point.
overall it's definitely worth the watch, especially if rom com is your thing.

But put it this way, this drama doesn’t make my top 20 and I have only watched 25 dramas. So yeah, not THAT great. I wouldn’t recommend it for a newbie unless they have low standards and a short attention span. But if you are looking for a weekend marathon of cuteness, this will do the trick.
If you watched it and loved it and are wondering what my problem is, I recommend watching One Percent Of Something. It is a very similar drama with a better plot line (no unexplained kidnappings) and a cuter guy.

Story: The plot was interesting enough to keep me going to finish this in only 2 sittings.
Acting/Cast: Apart from them being so damn gorgeous people, I think the main leads held up pretty well in terms of their character. Honestly though I can't remember any of the supporting characters >___<
Music: SO. DAMN. GOOD. Catchy af.
Rewatch value: Definitely, it was soooo cute!
No regrets here.
Hope this TL;DR review helps! :)

-Plot is sorta forgettable (as soon as I finished, I already had a hard time remembering the things that laced the bigger plot points together)
-I'm also not entirely sure what I remember of the music, other than it wasn't bad
-From what I do remember of the plot, I do enjoy it as a drama, even, admittedly, a short one. This is a drama that does not fall short of all the classic kdrama tropes, and one that fulfills them fairly well
-At times the acting and plot did seem childish, but of all the issues I could have had with it, that is not a prominent one
-The chemistry between actors/characters was surprisingly good. Not amazing. But still good.
-I would say it's also worth rewatching, but I'm going to give it a couple years before that happens
-If you're looking for anything other than lighthearted romance, you won't find it here. Romance is the only plot line here. That's it. It doesn't do much of anything in terms of any other genre
-I would recommend this drama for absolute beginners, but maybe not beginners who have their entire opinion of kdrama resting on this one. Anyone other than newcomers may find Noble, My Love as a cute, quick, lighthearted break from some of the more detailed, time-consuming and heavy plots of many other modern dramas

Good classic drama fun
I wasn’t expecting much out of this but I ended up getting totally sucked in! The FL was lively and sweet and relatable and the ML was ungodly attractive. Other than the tame kisses, this was unexpectedly hot - the way he looked at her, their body language toward each other, how he always closed the space between them, lots of skinship and obvious attraction between them, etc. I see some reviews saying he was too controlling, and that’s fair, but I know I’m not alone in feeling it’s nice to indulge in a bit of good old-fashioned “dominant romance hero” in the safety of fiction! It might not have worked with a different actor, or if the drama was more serious than fluffy, but somehow Sung Hoon's portrayal made his possessiveness and assertive demeanor leave me a bit swoony rather than irritated. (My only confusion is that I assumed the first episode’s kidnapping would factor into the plot, but it’s never revisited? How do you just move on from that like it’s an ordinary occurrence? What prompted it in the first place? We will never know…)Was this review helpful to you?
Bad example of a tried and true formula!
Glad it was so short! The story is tried and true: rich arrogant boss won't take no for an answer. While the male lead is gorgeous, he treats the female lead so abominably that I just couldn't get behind the impending romance. (Nor is there enough skinship!) She's a smart, good hearted veterinarian who saved his life but still gets bullied by him and former classmates without ever really standing up for herself in a satisfying way. She deserved better! The male lead is so good looking that I know I'll watch more of his work. Maybe if this were longer, there would have been more character development, but it left me NOT rooting for their romance. I did enjoy when his younger brother showed up and brought him down a peg, but you could skip this one unless you're a major fan of the uber hot Sung Hoon or you don't want to invest too much time in a formulaic romance. Was this review helpful to you?
Verona Park iyeo
Sung Hoon is the same kind of actor as Lee Minho. His looks are inversely proportional with his acting skills. I already knew this when I decided to watch this drama, because of that I did not expect much from this drama & to be honest the drama did not fall short of my already low expectations too much. The saving grace of this show is that it's only 5 hours long. So despite there being A LOT of stupid in the drama, there is just no time to expand on those things. So yeah - weird second love interest, weird brother, hysteric mom - in a 16 episode long mini series I would have not been able to bear with all this old school 2005-2010 era crap. However due to the short running time, most of the problems were dealt with in minutes and the love triangle was weak too, because there was just no time for the second lead to amount to anything.
Ultimately I was entertained enough. Veronica Park did carry the show, despite her obviously being a less experienced actress at the time this show has been made. Everyone is right about their relationship starting out as a really toxic one, bully CEO yada yada, but I was pretty much unfazed about that. I just wish they had more chemistry and the writing could have been just a little better. I would have appreciated it, if the relationship progressing moments were less random and arbitrary.
I liked the cat, I wonder how many breeders have that breed in Korea, could it be a product placement? ^
TLDR: If you must watch this, because you are really bored, make sure to watch "The Secret Life of My Secretary" first. It's a much better drama & knowing it makes this one 200% more entertaining.

It could have been something excelent
Sung Hoon seems to be the king of short dramas but this one dissapointed me. Yes "Noble, my love" has good acting, interesting story but it's such a pity that was made so short! It took me one and only one rainy Sunday to watch this drama back-to-back ?It all happens so fast that in the afternoon you see them meeting each other and in the evening they look at each other like the cat from Shrek. Whole serie takes 5h to watch therefore many scenes are cut-short or eliminated. All the other characters appear only episodically. Nonetheless they all play nicely. They just didn't have time to accelerate ?
Looking back at it, the actors did a really good job considering the time they had to preform their roles. The story was told, some of the most important things were cleared up and they lived happily ever after (I hope). The basic mile stones there there. BUT! I think that the script was interesting enough that producers could make full-length 1-hour episodes and stretch it to, for example, 10 episodes. Sung Hoon and Kim Jae Kyung play interesting characters and look very good together, so I would looooove to see their romance ? Drama is good but producers missed an opportunity of making something meaningfull and engaging. The short episodes were bothersome. I'm sorry Sung Hoon ?

Fake relationship romance that has similar format to Jdorama
Noble, My Love is a light, fake relationship romance Kdrama. Since each episode has a short duration of 15 minute, this series gives Jdorama vibe. What I like:
1) Light and well-paced. I finished this series in one seating.
2) Good chemistry between Sung Hoon and Kim Jae-kyung. That scene in the kitchen is hot!
3) Kim Jae-kyung's acting was alright. She does well during comedic scenes.
What I disliked:
1) Wish the last 3 episodes had clear focus on the romance.
2) I felt his character was stunted & remained bossy till the end.
Favourite scene:
I like the dynamic between Lee Kang Joon and Cha Yoon Seo so their scenes are always fun.
