Must say I'm not satisfied with the wrap up…

Must say I'm not satisfied with the wrap up in this episode and how Bu Yong died. If she knew that the dried persimmons were poisoned why did she deliberately eat them? Did anybody force her? She could've easily taken the basket, left and then throw them out when the prince wasn't there.

Big Plot Goof >_<

Overall, I loved the whole series, BUT, I can't get over they way they wrapped up the plot in this final episode. It pretty much contradicts everything. When the series starts out, before they even leave Joeseon, the cause of the 'Princess''s death has already been established. Before she ended up in the water, they had. Included that she had ingested poison that was in dried persimmons. Yet last episode they clearly show Boo Yong eating each dried persimmon right there in front of the Prince! Therefore, once the real cause of death was revealed, he would instantly known in episode one that it wasn't the Princess lying dead facedown in the water, but Boo Yong. > < So he'd have at least known that the whole time. But of course, he didn't.

As for the very end, I believe some people didn't get it. He returned to her as his now awakened reincarnation. I think it was pretty obvious that there at the end, he remembered everything, even though he was Take Yong. So he did end up with her in the end, it just took him 300 years to do so.

Great drama .. sad ending

I give this an 8.5 because even though it was an amazing and great drama I wasn't satisfied with the ending. She ends up with his reincarnation and he ends up with no one. After he found out that Park Ha's ancestor was the one who was in the water, dead, he figured out that he had loved the wrong person and then he ends up with no one. I thought it would be a good ending if there was going to be another person who looked like Park Ha so he would have someone but there wasn't. The letter he buried that she dug up made me cry so much and when he had to go back I cried even harder. It was just so sad but I like to think of it has Yoochun ended up with her anyways because he played both characters. That was the only way I could stop crying. But it was an amazing drama, I want to watch it again even though it's overly sad. Great drama. Loved it.

i can't believe it's over ..

i was satisfied with the ending. before i decided to start RP, i had read that the ending was sad, which was a huge reason i put off watching it .. and although yes, it was sad that Boo Yong died, i thought it fit the plot (through reincarnation, though 2 people from different times are different people based on life experiences/etc, their overall demeanor transcends time .. for example both the Crown Princess & Se Na / Lee Kak's half brother & Tae Mu had evil in them .. therefore i get that Boo Yong risked her life for Lee Kak as did Park Ha in present time .. she's just that type of person. The saddest part of this ending is that Lee Kak gets no one :(

some argue that it wasn't fair that Lee Kak ended up alone, while Park Ha ended up with Tae Yong .. yes, i was also sad about this .. but they both won/lost some. LK has the memories he shared with PH and he has his 3 minions who also share some of those memories (the omurice shop, the peppermint candy and their tracksuits at the end were a nice touch). Although PH ends up with TY, he definitely is not the same man she fell in love with (like someone mentioned .. mannerisms, life experiences, et) BUT .. with the whole reincarnation bit i mentioned earlier, i'm assuming TY will have the same demeanor as LK .. she has the chance to fall in love with TY. TY appearing in Joseon attire doesn't mean that he remembers LK memories (just like how PH had no recollection of BY's memories) .. but i think its more a symbol that their love has transcended time .. almost like LK / TY supposedly have the "same soul". Of course we want LK/PH together, but TY is the closest we're gonna get :( it sucks, but it works.

If it hadn't been for Tae Mu punching Tae Yong on the boat .. Park Ha would have met Tae Yong in New York (postcard) and they would have ended up together .. I'd like to think that Park Ha receiving Tae Yong's 2nd postcard was just fate trying to get these 2 together (for the 3rd time).

If it weren't for Hwa Yong, Boo Yong would have been the crown princess. If it weren't for Tae Mu, Tae Yong would have met Park Ha. Third time was the charm.

Sorry, that was long. :P

Beautiful Ending

I really liked the ending to this drama. I was not disappointed at all because Tae yong remembers Lee Gak's memories. The story in the Joseon era was really nicely presented. The writer of this drama must've been an genius because to think about the lotus riddle and incorporate it into the whole drama (reincarnation and love) was just a beautiful idea. I still can't believe it's all over now.
The omurice shop in the Joseon era was cute haha

why this wasn't perfect.... in my humble opinion.

Overall this is a really good show. The reason I only gave this drama an 8 was because of the end. While satisfying as far as plot went, I didn't like the fact that she ends up with the modern day reincarnation of the crown prince (and he what? ends up alone?). Reincarnation or not, Yong Tae Yong is NOT the person she was in love with. His personality is different, his mannerisms are different, he is ENTIRELY different because of his life experiences. To me this is sort of like dating twins and having one die so you just start dating the other. Sure they look alike but they are NOT the same person. For a fantasy romance that holds through until the end I would suggest Secret Garden.

90/10

I seriously thought that I wouldn't cry while watching this drama.
Anyways, it seems that a lot of predictions I've seen came true (the one dying was Bu Yong, etc.) but there was a small difference as she died from eating the dried persimmons and why she was wearing Her Highness' clothes instead.
One thing that I would've liked to know was whether or not Tae Yong woke up. At the ending, it showed him (w/o a necklace, so I just assumed it was Tae Yong instead of Yi Gak coming back from Joseon magically); although it'd be nice to actually see the character awaken.
And because of all that has happened, did it rewrite history? I mean, because the Joseon Tae Mu got beheaded, did it change anything, like present-day Tae Mu didn't punch Tae Yong?

Ooh, and Pyo Taek Su(?) didn't wear a bow-tie in this episode :D it was tie instead!

Is It...Is It Really Over?!

This was a really great episode. The ending was simple and sweet, yet sad at the same time. It's great that Park Ha is able to be with Tae Yong in the present, but the poor Prince didn't even have a chance with Boo Yong. I thought that the ending was a bit unclear though. The whole Tae Yong switching into Joseon era clothing really confused me....Does he remember everything as Lee Gak or what? The writers left that unnclear. The drama was amazing though. I am so sad it's over.

I didnt like the ending

SPOILERS ALLERT!

Yeah... I hated the ending. BUT if i should rate this episode, I have to give it really high rating. Because it was awesome and interesting. No one would expect, that tha "murder" happened like that. At least I did not expect it :D It was wery smart, yet painful conclusion.
I felt really sorry for Bu Yeong, because she had to suffer so much through her life. Her sister took her beloved men and in the end she died for him just like this. I cryied so much when she was standing on that bridge... I was thinking, that Lee Gak could end up with her eventually, when he would come back to his time. That way, he would not be so sad after loosing Pak Ha. But this was just sooo sad. I felt sorry for both o them... for Lee Gak and for Bu Young. It was way too depressing.

Anyway.... it was still great episode. And the whole show was exceptional and amazing :)

and that's it..

Well.. everything's clear now.
The story, I must say, is good. It's VERY thrilling and interesting til the end.
BUT this ending is not my cup of tea.
I felt sorry for the Lee Gak in the past..
even though they were together eventually, which is what had to happen in order for a good ending.
Anyways, the last episode was thrilling, but I didn't cry or anything.. somehow I liked the previous episode more..

It's still Lee Gak

Okay, this is just a freaking wonderful drama, oh God I'm sobbing like crazy here.

I LOVED EVERYTHING IN THIS DRAMA ? And for those who are confused with the end, I found this comment on KIMCHIDRAMA that will not confuse you anymore:

Something that we have to remember, the time between Park Ha and Lee Gak actually is very different, there is 300 years differences. So what we see in Joeson did not occur in the same time in Seoul. When Lee Gak pass away, his soul will be reincarnated to Tae Young's body. Off course Lee Gak already passed away at Park Ha's time, so.. it's Tae Young's body but the memory and the soul are definitely Lee Gak. *smartass style* LOL...

my dongsaeng predicted this ending.

So, it was kind of anticlimatic for me. I already had some idea what was going to happen. I still cried at the death of Boo Yong. She saved his life several times. Lee Kak must be so sad, but at peace knowing that she is alive in the future and that he will see her again.
I like that Tae Mu is beheaded in Joseon!!! It is awesome!!!
The guys are too cute. They opened their own omurice shop and make ketsup.
I love that Tae Yong woke up remembering his reincarnation. They get to live happily ever after. Great ending!!!

I was right!

I gave it a 10 b/c I was right. Yong Tae Yong wakes up & remembers Lee Kak's past. He was waiting for her all along. I am glad this was a happy ending even though it was a little cheesy. I still liked it. After the emotional roller-coaster I had w/ drama's this wk, I am glad this 1 didn't let me down w/ a bad ending. I can take a little cheese, I mean it has always had that quality to it b/c of the type of comedy that went on. But it still left u w/ a good feeling. Yay, another happy ending!

After 300 years...I will still love you.

Just finished this. Nothing special about it. Boo Yong was the one who died, not from drowning, but she sacrificed herself for him and ate the poisoned fruit as the prize for solving the riddle. Something he at first didn't want her to do since he had promised a bigger prize. The answer to the riddle: Boo Yong. He must really feel useless. Park Ha almost dies saving him and Boo Yong died saving him...Aigoo, Lee Gak.

Lee Gak had always had a crush on her. It was pretty evident since the first episode when he enjoyed her company quite a bit.

The trio was hilarious, the opened their own restaurant and were providing Omurice for the Joseon people, making deliveries to the Prince, and making their own ketchup.

I thought CHi San was cute when he told the Prince, "Let's go back. I want a hamburger." Jajaja Joseon has no hamburgers!!

I was a little confused by the sudden appearance of Lee Gak taking Tae Yong's place, but since Tae Yong is LG's reincarnation, just like BH is BY reincarnation they are showing how love transcends time and space...or something like that.

I can't say I will this drama or that I'm torn that Lee Gak was alone and depressed in Joseon (Boo Yong did die..) and that Park Ha ended up with Tae Yong.
