The title is traumatic but I'll give it a try because it's Hae In's first main role drama.

They made her such a saint that not even Jesus could relate. So selfless to the point it's annoying. They should have challenged her sense of justice, made her question if what she is doing would even change the corruption or if she could achieve her dreams without staining her hands.... But nooooo! She never faltered for even a moment! Even in the last episode with her son, there is no "I would miss my baby" but rather "THIS IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!"

... Seriously?? Are you a moral textbook?

And I hate how she only seem to think that she is not "worth it" whenever she gets promoted...like they had to shove how HUMBLE she is everytime.

In terms of facial expressions, I disliked her it in the beginning. During the first 15 episodes, the production team were making it a competition on who can end the episode with Dong Yi's "deer in the headlights expression". I'm just in relief it ended!

Why is this show called Missing 9 when the people who went missing are more than 9?

I'm debating whether I should watch this when it's airing or if I should wait till it's almost finished to start? CAN'T DECIDE!

I see a bit of resemblance with Ji Chang Wook and Baekhyun from EXO. Tiny bit but it only works with a certain angle lol

It was a so-so drama. I feel like this could have been much better without all the angsty shit half of us didn't want.

I learned OCN don't make good romance drama.. So I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.

This is why I use to not rate drama. It saves me the trouble of going through such stages....

Which brings me to why did I decided to rate this year? lol I should stick to my original rules.

Can we talk about the overuse of car/truck accidents. I swear to god they are at a point where they should be considered ACTORS. They make cameo appearance in almost ever drama.

That's why I'm not sure whether I love or hate this drama lol they have such creative ideas, great characters and setup but the way they handle half of it makes me disappointed.

Especially the mermaid one because the guy killed the mermaid THINKING she was human..THAT WAS A TWIST! So I wanted to know why he killed her but they concluded the story quickly.

No.4 is the truth! This is why I hate love triangles. The second leads act as if they need a heart transplant and the only way they can get it if they end up with the main girl/boy. Like boi/gurl, you ain't dying. Sit down.

This is heavy on the romance and family problems so if you are a fan of that then yes, it's a good watch.

I need help

You just put my thoughts into words. I would also like to add that supportive roles are ALSO GOOD! There are many side characters that SHINES because they are not on the spotlight constantly! Sometimes you love them more than the main leads because they are so charismatic! I actually think supportive roles are better than the main ones because they give you a wider range of diversity... Why can't idols see that?

Am I the only one who was disappointed with how they handle the mermaid side story? It had such an AMAZING setup and a fitting ending but it lacked the backstory! I can't believe they messed up such a good side story by not giving us enough details.

As a quality it's definitely a plus. I acknowledged that but if the writer knew how to take advantage of their own plot, it would have been a lot better.

That's what I'm saying! But people who love this show will continue to be blind to such a obvious bad character writing. It's TELLING us one thing:

[Seon Mi battled demons for 30+ years]

But it's showing us another thing:

[Seon Mi is on a suicide mission for the umpteen time but don't worry! Son Oh Gong to the rescue!]

Her character is falling into the trickery of demons way to easily for me to be convinced by the "she had been seeing these creatures her WHOLE LIFE" plot they are trying to force feed me. Like nah, I bet she saw those demons like yesterday! Cause no person would react this naive if they knew what those demons are capable off.

Her character development is a complete failure. Nothing they can do from here onwards can savlage that.

And that's why her character is bad because it's NOT consistent. How can we believe her ability benefited her when she can't even defend herself without almost dying? What she benefited from is something I call "forced plot."

Sam Jang's character is way too damsel in distress. How the heck did she survive 25 YEARS fighting evil spirits when she can barely survive 3 months without getting herself killed!? She keeps getting lured into traps like a bimbo. From the lustful demon to almost believing the Namsan tower spirit... After that she got her soul trapped by the bookstore spirit and now this?? How did 25 years pass with this sort of intelligence? I'm not expecting a badass, I'm expecting someone who can at least DEFEND themselves without Son Oh Gong's help. Bad character writing is all over this.

I REALLY want to watch this drama but I'm holding it off because I don't think I could wait for the episodes to come out after hearing how good it is! Call me once it reaches ep 10!
