I haven't watched any taiga drama yet, but i had this biggie on my mind for some time now, your highly positive…
This one is my first taiga and now I'm looking forward to watching all those I missed! I heard the 2010 one was also one of the best. It may seem like a big commitment but once you start who won't feel it :D

As for the reference, it was the last article I read when I wrote this. I really enjoyed it and it motivated me to write that one ;)

I like Okada Junichi and I've tried watching this, but it didn't appeal to me at that time. I think part of the…
lol historical drama overload :P So happy my review would encourage you! Do give it a try I'm sure you'll like it. 50 episodes is a big commitment but so much is going on. I think one of this drama's pros is the pacing.

Yae no Sakura is one I want to watch & Tenchijin too. When I started watching this I didn't know if I was going to continue but it just swept me off my feet.

Will Ikuta Toma fans enjoy it, also?
I would say yes. His character shows up early on but we get to see more of him after the first third of the drama. He faces important and disturbing dilemas. Where I got we're back to seeing more of him, and I think we'll more of him soon because, based on what I read on his character, he'll be faced with many more important dilemas at this point in his life.I only mentioned a few actors here only because if I start to mention what I like about what each did with their character it'll truly be endless. There are too many characters, and some even with small role left a big impact, and seem were there but made their impact later on (like Ikuta Toma).

Thanks for the comment. I worry that I couldn't do this beautiful drama justice. Like you said so many reasons to love it.

Review Wu Xia
This is another really great film review~ You summed up my feelings about this film exactly, right down to that…
Thx :D It's a movie I enjoyed a lot but just couldn't give it a higher rate and I felt that I had to explain why.

Review Tenchijin
This drama has Uesugi Kenshin in it (played by none other than Abe Hiroshi!). I've got a work colleague that is obsessed about him as the man who never lost a battle which motivated me to read up about him :P Now I've got more motivations to start this sooner rather than later ;) I want to finish Kanbei first though to not get mixed up :P Thx for the review cheer :D

Title Petero no Souretsu Spoiler
to be continued :( i hope he will go back with his wife :(
I hope so too but I'm glad he did not forgive her right away. Like she said, he could've done the same but he stopped himself. I hope she gets stronger and we see her work hard to get her family back.

Title The Three Musketeers Spoiler
Couldn't Mi Ryung just die? It was just too much for her to come back from the dead. It's like the high pitched…
True in the novel she's executed at the end of the first volume. Her son comes back to avenge her in later volumes. However I knew she was coming back :P

It is kinda funny coming from someone who can't stand shojo. Either way good job you did great covering how shojo manga adaptations go. I think the main problem she manga adaptation into movies is time constraint. You'd have to gloss over details and even side characters and side stories that make the manga more interesting. There are also some over the top characters that we can accept easily in a manga but not as real people, especially when the acting doesn't hold up. For that reason i usually don't watch the live adaptation of my favourite manga :P

I hated how the ended the ex best friend in 49 days with "but she did truly love me". Yea planning on…
Well being like 100 episode I guess I'd be more pissed at crazy love because you have to endure the evil longer :P But I totally get when the result of what happens to the bad guy is not satisfying at all.

I hated how the ended the ex best friend in 49 days with "but she did truly love me". Yea planning on breaking the heart and soul of your best friend by taking her boyfriend and her dad's money because you envied her is a valid reason! That she wasn't punished is one thing but the fact that the heroin was like "she truly loved me" I just couldn't stand it!!

I love the way you put it "your personal opinion will always be in the first place". That couldn't be any truer. I really did enjoy the twists and turn in the jdorama version but from your description, I feel that this version is like mixing the original Liar Game story with The Hunger Games :P but like you said it takes some guts to do this kind of change. Now I'm intrigued I really need to make some time for myself to watch this! I've watch the Japanese version a long ago so I don't remember all the details of the games and strategies used which can come to my advantage in watching this one ;)

Yonghwa oppa's acting improved by milestones. This is his best drama so far, his character is so cute and innocent!…
I wasn't impressed with him here but as of episode 7 I found that he took quite a turn and doing a good job and be in character instead of, as you called it 'Yonghwa trying to act' I don't know if it's just that I got used to him but at this point I'm enjoying him and his character as much as the prince and Seung Po
