This drama is dubbed!? This is the first time I've heard about this. Why though? They all can speak fluent Mandarin?…
I just found out on some forum that the Taiwanese version will at least air, sometime, it's so hard to find out when it will air/has aired. But they're not sure if it'll be with the original voices. I do really hope so... But as you said, it would mean more work for them...

Since this entire discussion is about the dubbing: does anyone know if a Taiwanese version without dubbing will ever air? I'm watching this because I'm a Victoria fan (Khuntoria fan to be precise) and I just can't get used to her having another voice. (and I just don't like it, it's not like watching Victoria this way... She's a singer, you shouldn't dub singers!!)
Am I the only one who is disappointed by Faith's ending?
Though I haven't actually watched it yet, I just spoiled through the last part of the last ep a bit. I'm actually at ep 18 but I had this feeling they would end it the undesirable way: BIG SPOILER AHEAD ---- Instead of both going to 2012 as I had idealised, both staying in Goryeo. Or am I a disloyal watcher for wanting to leave all supporting characters behind?
But I just don't like the idea of someone from the wrong time staying at that place. And I'm also very curious to her 2012... (But then again, both going to 2012 would give so much plot that they could write another season...)
I feel Kim So Hyun for his role in The Moon That Embraces The Sun deserves to be added to the best actor list. When the adults took the story over he was the one that kept the series going. So I'dd like to vote for him in that category.
Great article. I know he's busy but it's such a shame he has acted in so few dramas. I especially love him in Gumiho, he just charms my head of! (??) I just mean, he's so charming there I cannot stop swooning over him, and therefore one of my favourite re-watch dramas. I'll be awaiting guga. :) Btw, does anyone know the airing date yet?
Oh, and reply 1997 is such a surprising gem isn't it? I especially loved Sung Si Won, she was soooo entertaining. Such an interesting and original character! And of course all the Busan accents made it all the more loveable. TvN has brought us so many great dramas this year, hasn't it? Grateful... <33
Omg! I couldn't have agreed more with what you said about TMTETS!! The beginning was absolutely brilliant and I was completely hooked on it! It was such a disappointment when the adult characters came in, especially Han Ga In, I just couldn't get myself to like her. Yet Kim So Hyun couldn't have done a better job. (Btw, I though TMTETS wasn't a fusion sageuk though?)
lol, I agree on about everything you said. (except that I haven't watched TTBY)
GTM: The only thing it lacked was an interesting Joseon story, for the rest it was brilliant: realistic, adorable, REAL romance and so funny.
Ma boy: You've said all.
SUFBB: Bromance is indeed beautiful, isn't it!
FHT2: The hair killed me! Not sure if I'll ever finish it...
IM: It was way too melodrama, but I still loved it, though I prefer the post-amnesia part... And Song Joon Ki was just so amazingg... I'm also a fan on Moon Chae Won... :)
And about I do, I do: I so agree. It seemed as if the main girl (forgot her name, sorry) only ended up with Tae Kang because of the kid, like she would have never ever chosen him otherwise. That cannot even be called chemistry, that's just one-sided love...
Totally agree with TTBY, Dream High 2. Also in Big (though I havent watched it because I am hearing so many bad…
I found City Hunter not that bad. Though I don't disagree much either. At first it's a typical romance based story and then suddenly all of that is forgotten and it's only about revenge. And there was more like that, so indeed, it could've been better...
(Don't stone me!!)
lol, I dropped Rooftop Prince after the first 4 eps. (At the point when the next storyline was introduced, I could predict from that moment on it was going to wreck me) What I hated most was the way they handled the time-travellers' reactions, so ridiculously unrealistic. The humour is the vicarious shame kind, and since I don't enjoy that it didn't have anything to offer me, I'm so glad I didn't waste my time on this any further... :)
I've been wondering this from the beginning. They made a cover of some kind of nursery song or at least something…
Yes! The lyrics are definitely not familiar, but the rhythm must be something well known because I'm sure I recognized it. Good to know it's not my imagination, do you have any idea what it could be? It's killing me....

Thank you so much!! Happy new year to you too!! <3
I've been wondering this from the beginning. They made a cover of some kind of nursery song or at least something well known and folkish, but I just cannot seem to put my finger on what the original actually is... It's the song that goes "Sarangi getcho... ireonu bammeum... Sarangi getcho... pulljo kajima... " ("it must be love... blablabla") (pardon my bad phonetic translation and stuff) this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TSs0jq52ZI
does anyone recognize i t?? If so please do tell me!
It irritates me every time I hear that song...
