This is a drama that really is hard to rate. Why? Simply because I was never crazy about the lead female, Mio. She drove me crazy. Her brother, Kazu, was wishy-washy but if if look at the fact that they portrayed those characters as they should have, they were great. I loved the little Doctor You had to suspend belief that someone so young could be a heart surgeon but then I've pretty much have gotten used to that in JDramas that I've watched. The story was nicely done in showing a young woman with an illness wanting to see her brother for possibly the last time. As far as the end, still contemplating that. But one thing has bothered me. Why was this the first time in 10 years that she had seen her brother?

Okay, can't help it, this was a cute movie! Had a lot of actors that I was familiar with and some not so familiar with. Park Jin Woo, who I already thought was handsome is just too cute in this as the eldest son of an old Korean family. Watching the transformation of Yeon Soo was hilarious and fun to watch. From party girl to proper daughter-in-law. Park Jin Woo as Jeong Do was just to cute! I enjoyed just watching him on the screen. Seeing Lee Won Jong as Yeon Soo's Dad was hysterical! This really was a fun movie to watch. And let's not forget the handsome cast!! Okay, that's enough glowing over Park Jin Woo.

I simply watched this for Kamenashi Kazuya and I have to say, it was a learning experience and a joy to watch. If you don't know anything about wines, your head will be full of knowledge by the end. What I especially like in JDramas is that they provide you with the information as you watch. So, you will learn terms that are strictly in relations to the wine industry. The story, about two men competing for the inheritance of millions of dollars of a wine collection, it really was not about that as you watch it. I found the story very interesting because you find out what the competition really is about, episode after episode. I definitely liked the end where every bottle of wine featured in the competition and the regions were explained in detail. I must say, that is the one thing I truly like about Japanese dramas. Very good!

This review is based on two facts: A great revenge story and a horrible romance story. That's the only way to classify it. The beginnings showed us how great this drama could have been with the younger actors of Lee Hyun Woo and Im Woong Jae who did a phenomenal job of the teen Jang Il and Sung Woo. They did such a great job, I really wasn't ready for the lead stars to take over, sadly! But when they did, it was like gang-busters! Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Joon Hyuk gave stellar performances. Follow that up with the performance of Im Jung Eun as Soo Mi, it could have been the perfect cast; unfortunately, a big whole was left by Lee Boo Young's lackluster performance. As the college Ji-Won, she was very good but as later years Ji-Won, she was just there and frankly, could have gone missing the rest of the drama and no one would have cared. I think the true romance was the bromance between Sun Woo and Jang Il as they worked through their monumental breakup!! C'mon, its not that easy to forgive someone for trying to kill. But overall, its worth watching!

Definitely worth watching! The action was superior and so were the stunts! I can't believe I screamed out loud during the car accidents! I was so glad I took the time to watch this. A stellar cast from Kim Yoon Suk as Macao to Kim Hye Soo as Pepsee! And let's not forget Kim Soo Hyun as Zampamo. This is the first role that I truly LIKED him in! He needs to do more action roles in the future! What a hell of a ride from start to finish. You got intrigue, fun, betrayal and downright excitement! Definitely one for the books.

Loved every minute of it. I was never bored. Lee Min Ki in sunglasses is one sexy dude! This so reminds me a lot of the movie Speed. There is a lot of action, car explosions and some seriously, seriously bad (in a good way) motorcycle stunts. I enjoyed the cast. Everyone held their own and the story was so interesting! Much respect to stunt people!

It was hard to rate this at first because there are moments that make you go hmmm. But when you factor in the great acting, you have to give this drama some praise. My one complaint is that the writer must have been schizo because the story was two-fold and at times, the tone would switch. The first few episodes will have you crying!! Crying from laughter!! Park Shi Hoo in a comedy? Do more, you were brilliant!! I think the problem was Moon Geun Young's character was super, super serious and that is what through the balance off at times. But I have to say, overall, this was not bad and I continue to be an UBER fan of Moon Geun Young and Park Shi Hoo, you are getting there!!

I just don't know what to say about this drama! What a gorefest! A lot, a lot of killing! With a story that would bore most. I like my violent stories but I have to say, overkill on this one. Love story? Forget about it! Two brothers fighting over the same woman with the younger one winning the fight because he says he'll kill himself? I was all ready for him to do so! I had no vested interest in either the leads and could care less who got the girl as she was totally confused too! If you read this review before watching, even with 12 episodes, save your previous hours and find something else to watch.

If you want to watch a good story that is totally without one single kiss between the leads, this is one to watch. But if you are interested in a fairly decent story, this is worth watching. The cast was very good overall, I really can't complain about that. I was kind of disappointed that here you had two actors that had a decent chemistry together and besides a peck on the cheek, that was it. No holding hands, no hugs, nothing. ending was rushed in the usual KDrama fashion.

I have mixed feeling on this movie. At times, the acting was brilliantly done but then there's re those moments when I literally felt my eyes get heavy with sleep. I felt the supporting cast to be the most interesting and really helped to maintain my interestst. This wasn't bad enough to stop watching; however, had it not been for Lee Byung Hun, I probably would have stopped watching. I think it's best for you to watch and give your own opinion. But if nothing else, I learned that YUT means the same thing as STFU. I'll be using that in the future.

Not even sure if I can write a meaningful review of Nice Guy. I'm still pondering the ending and whether or not I understood it or even liked it; however, if you have an interest in a melodrama that is not too heavy on either the melo or drama, this is definitely worth watching. The actor, I must say was STELLAR! Song Joong Ki as Kang Ma Roo was absolutely phenomenal! His character portrayal, you could not figure out whether to hate him or love him but you definitely understood him! moon Chae Won as Eun Gee was as usual, the best! Again, she has impressed me with her acting ability and she does not fail here either. The supporting cast who were new to me, Park Si Yeon as Jae Hee, you could not help but hate her! Lee Kwang Soo as Jae Gil (or affectionately known as Giraffe) and the actress, Lee Yoo Bi as Choco, will be memorably and I will look forward to them in the future. My only complaint is the story and especially the ending. Cannot say that I was truly enamored with it but felt I understood where the writer was going. I recommend it but it's definitely a one viewing drama for me.

You kind of hate to give a Collin Chou movie a bad rating. The action as always is great but the acting sometimes left a lot to be desired; especially the women. As always Collin Chou is the consummate actor and action meme! This was my first Andy On experience that I actually finished. Handsome but evil guy in this movie. One thing I can say, never mess with the native people in tune with nature! Even I was routing for the tiger! Be warned, not for the light at heart. A lot of gratuitous violence and bad acting by some of the women.

Jang Dong Gun does action pretty impressively! This makes now the 2nd time I've watched in anything. The movie starts off on a thrill but then goes back to a long lull period of back filling information as to why Sin (Jang Dong Gun) character is determined to get back at South Korea. Lee Jung Jae as Se Jong, the semi sympathetic naval officer plays his character very well. This movie has a lot of fighting, killing and definitely not a romance, so be warned. It really is a movie for those who like the action genre.

If nothing else, the music is freaking amazing!! As a rocker from the old days, I definitely appreciated the beats. Now, the movie. Not what I expected. I won't say that I loved it because, honestly, I think I fell asleep for a few minutes. At times, the pace was snail slow but then BAM! Up goes the beat of the music as well as the movie! Not going to say it was not a humongous joy to watch modified mohawk Oguri Shun all bad-ass! Nope, no complaints about that at all. Nor am I going to complain about my first introduction to Yamada Takayuki! Warning, this movie is not for kids, people sensitive to violence or those looking for romance. This is not for you; however, if you want to see man to man; hand to hand combat at its finest, watch this!

I am happily watching one after another of these early 2000's Japanese dramas! This was truly a unique story and did remind you in some ways Notting Hill but the two lead actors we just wonderful together. I am slowly learning what I have been missing. Even though the romances are very toned down, I think the romance is stronger in just the conversations, the looks and the actors feelings as they portray them. I thoroughly enjoyed this drama from beginning to end. There was a time I wanted to choke Sousuke in his ultimate noble idiocy sacrifice but would this be any different than other dramas? I think not. But with only 11 episodes, it will be a quick but enjoyable watch.
