Strawberry on the shortcake
Long love letter
Ninkyo Helper
Dare yori mo Mama wo Aisu

Dokushin Kizoku

All Japanese of course, I haven't watch enough Kdramas to recommend something really good. The last two are the lighter ones.
Hope you'll find something good (in that list or not)
see you soon, and take care of yourself!

hello!!
thanks for the remark, i'm in a pretty good mood at the moment, maybe because it's holidays for me. i'm more relaxed. hope it will last for a little longer.
About the interview : that was about Joan of Arc. she was asked for example what she looked like. that was pretty my friend's answer : O.o, cause of course we don't have photos! i'm looking forward to watching the report in order to see what they could have really understood and what they maybe have misunderstood (lol).
what about you? How are you? still listening to lots of music?
7 for Love Shuffle is also my rating. You used to rate your dramas lower than me so i guess you still spent a good time in front of it.
I would like to suggest some dramas. There are different kind of dramas cause i don't really know what you like (our ratings are sometimes really different, depends on the drama). (on the other post, sorry)

hello. thanks for the request. and welcome to MDL and Dramaland. Don't worry, everybody here is very nice! you're currently watching alice no toahge, and Yawakutemo katemasu. what do you think of them so far?
ah, and I highly recommend Mother that you added on your PTW list. one of my favorite, and above all a very touching and heartwarming drama.

konban wa Zezi-chan!
I cannot resist to recommend you Hanzawa Naoki, i've been reluctant for so many months and now i'm so fired up by the drama and the character. But you're right, you've got to be in the right mood for it. so don't force yourself.
Love Shuffle : i do agree the idea is bizarre, but it turned out pretty interesting. I don't know if you've got the same experience, but with J-dramas plots that appeared to be too far from my comfort zone or my values tend to be those i'm enjoying the most. Maybe because writers are able to depict human characters with so much subtility that you tend to understand them and like them (even if you cannot accept their behaviour).
see you soon and take care.

hello Zezi!
a short answer for a change. i don't mind telling about my work. i'm a civil servant, working in a junior high school. not a teacher, just dealing with financial, administrative, technical and security matters. i don't really like it, though it could sometimes be interesting.
i'm into Hanzawa Naoki drama at the moment, and well... i never imagined i could have been so interested by bank matters. lol. if it stays as good as it is, it's a 10 for me.
hope you have a lot of fun with Love shuffle. i'm looking forward to your comments and your rating.
by the way, i like your quote on your profile page!
take care!

... (second post, they really need to increase the number of characters per post!!!)
concerning music, do you feel the same? Have you got special stress or issues who makes you want to listen to music more often? i don't mean to be too intrusive, just generally speaking.
back to dramas, i've started Alice no toge (Alice's thorns) with Ueno Juri and Odagiri Joe. i was reluctant at first, but it's really amazing (well at least for my level...) I've been hooked since the beginning of the first episode, and I didn't think I would wait for the next episodes with so much impatience. hope things will stay the way they are. makes me want to watch other revenge dramas.
do you like this kind of plot? if so, i would highly recommend this one (though only 2 episodes are available...)
take care of yourself and see you soon!

hello!
sorry for the late reply. did you start Love Shuffle? It's definitely a must watch. Not my favorite (I don't really like Tamaki Hiroshi ) but it's pretty good and kinda mysterious sometimes. Hope you'll like it. I'm not listening to Abba's Dancing Queen the way I used to before watching it!
About Orange Days, I can understand what you mean. i liked it a lot, but I felt a little bit disappointed because so many people were recommending it, and I was hoping for more. Maybe sometimes i'm too greedy with drama's stories and characters.
Music is something necessary in my daily life. i like to finish a day with songs. that was not always the case, but i guess living alone makes you feel lonely too. and music can "hide" this loneliness by distracting you...
Amazing start! i didn't expect to like it that much. i've never seen Ueno in serious role but she's doing a great job here. i'm looking forward to the next episodes, hoping things will stay as disturbing as they currently are!

second post, sorry.
so Arashi: their albums are everywhere : in my car, my house , in my computer and my MP3. they helped me sleeping (it's okay if you think i'm crazy). so listening to Yuzu, Sekai no owari or other bands are kind of a way to widen my musical horizon (sorry if it's sounds too much like french translated in English)!
What about you : are you listening to Asian music, like Jpop, Kpop or Cpop?
take good care of you. see you soon.

Hello girl!
i'm fine thanks. sun has came back so it's good for the mood.
What about you? seems beyond the clouds was not your cup of tea, after all? and you're curretly watching Orange days : how do you find it so far?
I want to thank you once again for Kekkon dekinai Otoko, i really loved it. Abe was really great in it, and though his character was so awkward, i was really fond of him. can't get his image and his behaviour out of my head. He was a really charming character in his own way.
Jpop... to be true, since i've discovered Arashi (beginning of 2012), their songs are almost the only ones I'm listening to. not that they are great songs, and not that they are great singers, but I just love them. not a romantic feeling, just the image of very good friends that are here to comfort you. I'm pretty aware that everything is a well built image, yet it work on me...

Hello Zezi!
I've listened to them all. already knew some of them, but really nice discovery for Elgar - Nimrod and mostly Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin - Woodbrook !!! thanks a lot for letting me know thos nice pieces. Maybe time for me to listen to classical music once again.
One of my favorite piece is Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. I like the epic spirit in it.
I also like to listen to Greek music. Not really classical one, in fact, and it's often works that were recreated in modern times according to informations we can find of antic music, but some are really apeasing.
the first i've ever heard, which remain my favorite so far, is Akousate. it took me a while to appreciate it, but now it's really something that helps me to cool down when i'm in bad spirit.
I also like to listening to Gregorian chants because of the choirs. I like when many voices are intertwined...

Hello Zezi!
your last answer put a big smile on my face when I read your recs : Pachelbel's Canon is certainly my favorite piece of classical music. and I adore Beethov's 7th and 9th symphonies (I particularly enjoy the second movment of the 7th s. and the finale of the 9th which inspired me for writing a long time ago - but that's another story).
we seem to have the same taste so i will definetly look for the other ones.
i'll had gentleman's dignity & secret garden on my PTW, i want funny things at the moment.
I haven't heard of interventional radiology (but I don't really have acquaintances in the medical field) but it should be so exciting to take part of exploration of new technics in medical fields. That's great to see you so excited by your choice! wish you the best and hope you'll have a lot of fun doing your job!
residency abroad ! Do you already know where? can you choose?

i do like classical music (esp. Beethoven) so any rec will be appreciated. What do you like?
i've heard a lot of good things concerning Gentleman's dignity, i wonder if I should put it on my PTW list? you can also recommend me other k-dramas, sometimes i'm in the mood for a change.
and concerning kekkon dekinai otoko... that's funny, i was in an Abe "mood" some weeks ago and was about to start it. if you recommmend it, then I will soon give it a try. especially if it's a funny drama!
My profile: in fact i wanted to update it a little bit and ended doing nothing at all. when i'm tired i sometimes write stupid things and just don't take the time to erase it. i prefer saving time for dramas and replies at the moment!
it's good you can have some relaxing phase, your job sounds so stressful. do you mind telling me what you decided on your speciality (i'm curious)?

Hello Zezi!
do not worry for the long reply, i like a lot reading others!
concerning Egypt's current situation, as a foreign and far away watcher, it's hard to fully understand what is happening, and what each camp wants. above all, it's frustrating to see that people fought for their rights and to express their revendication, and to see that the "spirit" of the movement has been betrayed. of course, i'm only interpreting what our media can relay on the situation.
in a historical point of view, we know that it can take a very long time and lots of struggles, battles and climb-downs (?) between the first revendications for the people's rights and freedom and it's entire realisation (remaining precarious). we know it well in Europe, but are we really appreciating that in our daily comfortable life? No.
in a human point of view, it's so frustrating to see it going to and fro in each country!
thanks a lot for the news! definetly Shinigami-kun for me. but you make me interested in Long goodbye, and maybe…
thanks for the info. i haven't seen the one you mentioned, but i will give Gin nikan a try, all the more that it could be interesting to watch a historical drama for a change.
thanks a lot for the news!
definetly Shinigami-kun for me. but you make me interested in Long goodbye, and maybe ore no dandy-ism and smoking gun. i've never heard of them, so once again, thanks a lot.
i like the genre, but i'm amazed by the number of investigation dramas. i wish there could more slice of life. guess it's not trendy at the moment...

well at the moment i'm into tokusatsu (childhood nostalgia, i guess). winter j-dramas were pretty good, and i'm looking forward to the next season: as an Arashi fan, two dramas with one of them are very good news. i've got high expectations for Ohno's one!
