Beautifully shot, interesting subject matter but I never connected emotionally with the characters.

I wasn't super encouraged from the synopsis on Netflix and on MDL, but gave it a try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised at how the story, and emotional growth and healing took place.

I went into this movie with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised at how heart warming it was. Mark Chou as always does a superb job :)

The Oscars still have a ways to go to opening their minds and recognizing their biases. Not sure how a film that’s good enough for directing, screenplay, and best film nominations garners not one acting nomination. That’s a rare accomplishment and snub.

I am pleased with the categories it’s nominated in and hope it brings deserved attention to and respect for Asian films.

Sweet, predictable story. On Netflix now.

Has a nice little twist that kept it from being the standard quo.

I really enjoyed Be Melodramatic and WWW. I’m squeamish so will probably skip Strangers From Hell. I have Fiery Priest and Sky Castle in my PTW and now need to add Confession. :)

I’ve liked several 2019 dramas. the Tale of Nokdu and When the Camellia Blooms would certainly be in the top 5.

Even if the episode is lackluster you can just look at his beautiful face.

Gong Yoo is the man as far as I’m concerned-he’s an amazing actor and makes interesting acting choices so the first two episodes were magic for me.

I am looking forward to catching up on the episodes that I’ve missed. Between LDW and JDY I’m sure they will keep me entertained. :)

I have only seen the first two episodes but intend to watch the rest as they become available. I really enjoyed them.

Lee Dong Wook and Gong Yoo were quite entertaining and you could see that their friendship is real.

I have enjoyed Jang Do Yeon’s humor. That blind date skit had me howling with laughter.( LDW-I want a girl like my mom. GY-I want a woman like dad. Her responses were hysterical and theirs!) :D

I should have called him eighth Prince not eighth brother above. :). How are you liking Scarlet Heart?
