Thank you for your article. :)
I enjoyed Tune In For Love. I really like Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae In so it would have to be terrible for me not to like it. This movie felt like a Kdrama condensed into a two hour movie which I considered a positive. Us and Them has been in my PTW and Netflix lists for awhile. You’ve convinced me to move it to the top of my mental list. Thanks!

All these movies on the list are pretty dark, so fair warning, but they're all really good :)
Sometimes I need the dark to balance out the lighter stuff.

Thank you! I bookmarked this page to give me guidelines for movie watching this year. The Coin Locker Girl is the only one I’ve seen. Good performances but brutal.

Thank you for your delightful article. Some of these are in my PTW list and more are being added. Thank you for the heads up about what entertainment is coming our way!

I’m still looking for dramas that make me feel the way Eternal Love and Goblin made me feel. I really liked Bad Guys even though it’s a little out of my norm but it’s definitely not light viewing. I’ve liked a lot of dramas, even really liked some but true loves don’t come along very often it seems. :’(

the ending got me upset, but I suppose it was meant to be and he knew it too
I didn’t check the tags and was gutted by the ending. So sad. :’(

Title Chocolate
So much pain packed in four episodes. This will require copious amounts of chocolate.
I agree. It’s painful but the good kind. A bolus of chocolate is called for stat.

What kind of restrictions? I'm afraid I don't know anything about them.
Agreed

The Chinese govt has put bans or restrictions on time travel and palace dramas. Also magic and science fiction, anything that is too westernized. Just google Chinese bans on dramas and you’ll find a lot of new restrictions.

Have you tried Prison Break? OZ is an old classic, but PB is the prison show of all prison shows within this generation,…
PB-I honestly don’t remember. I watched the first season in 2005. Way too much water under the bridge since then . :)

I did watch the two male leads in Legends of Tomorrow. But I’ve put it on hold too ;)

I watched the first season of Prison Break but as much as I liked the male leads I dropped the second season.

I only made it through two episodes of OZ. It was too brutal for me.

I also watched the first season of Orange is the New Black but didn’t come back for a second season

I liked Prison Playbook because it was gentler and more hopeful. The guards weren’t evil and on the take and the prisoners weren’t all ruthless. And it didn’t dish out relentless helpings of sorrow and betrayal. Friendships were forged and people went out of their way to help each other. Maybe not realistic but positively entertaining for me. :)

You picked two of my favorite dramas. I really liked Bad Guys and it was the bad guys’ relationships that evolved that completely sold me. I would say more but don’t want to spoiler shade my remarks. :)

And nothing can top the Goblin and Reaper’s hero walk as the lights blow. Their scenes brought either laughter, contented sighs, or tears. Perfect.

Oooh, you led with my favorite sweet puppy-Jung Hae In. Loved him the most in Something in the Rain. Have seen him in 4 other dramas and he never disappoints. :)

Thank you for the other suggestions and this article. And the cutie-pie gifs!
