i freak myself when i realize i do same hand gesture as ataru when i try to remember something O.O
Me too; I didn't even realise I did it until my husband saw Ataru doing the hand gesture and said "oh, you do that when you're concentrating on something you're reading or watching or if you're really trying hard to remember something, it's quite cute." I just stared at him and he added with a shrug "didn't you know?" So am a little freaked out too because no, I didn't know I did it.....WHY do I do it?
Just give a me a drama special where they meet. A second season isn't necessary.
Yup agreed - if the studio is dead set against a second season because of the stupid 'netizens' then just give us a damn special. The fans deserve consideration too, not just miserable so-and-so's on the net!
i can´t judge other adaptations but L and Ren definitelly didn´t live up my expectations...and it´s…
I thought old L was okay - but new L drove my daughter nuts; she said he was NOTHING like the character in the mangas, not in the portrayal or looks....I have to say he didn't walk, sit or talk right either.
Absolutely can't wait - LOVED the anime and hopefully the live-action will do it justice. Hopefully the SFX will work well for the transition too.....especially the Ajin 'voice'..... :)
What about 'Ninja Assassin', where he played the character 'Raizo'. It was made in 2009 and co-starred Naomi Harris as 'Mika'. It was a really good movie mainly because of the sheer hard work Rain put into his characterisation and all the action/fight sequences. Yet it's not listed above, which is a shame.
As an actor I REALLY like his work - he really gives every character and scene his all and it's very impressive to watch. For me, personally, my favourite thing he's done (for entertainment purposes) was his version of 'Full House'. It was funny and entertaining and I think Rain carried the whole drama. But from the aspect of storytelling then I have to choose 'For Love or Money'. On sheer acting skill alone the most out there 'mad' film, but one that showcases his versatility, was 'I'm a Cyborg' - I can't say it was my thing, but I was so impressed with his portrayal of the damaged, broken but kind-hearted Park Il-Sun. But PLEASE list 'Soar into the Sky' - I've been told it's his best work (though I've not been able to watch it myself yet) and it would be nice to see it amongst all his other stuff.
i want uncut version with Happy Ending .... May be they cut too many scenes, some parts are hard to understand.…
Here's the link - it's 10 minutes and 18 seconds long and not as detailed as the novel. But at least it's happier than the original ending.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoWfG2aDkd0
Till the end I hoped that it wasn't true, that it was just Nian plan so that Yan could forget him and marry that…
SonnyFreya - here's the link to the filmed happy ending I told you about. It's 10 minutes and 18 seconds long. It's good; not in as much detail as the novel - but it's happy. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoWfG2aDkd0
